About Penny

In order to alleviate the need to bring an animal into the shelter environment, The Anti-Cruelty Society has developed the new Home-to-Home Shelter Bypass service to help people find new accommodations for their pets privately. THESE ANIMALS ARE NOT LOCATED IN ANY OF THE SOCIETY'S PHYSICAL SHELTER LOCATIONS. PLEASE REFER TO THE CONTACT INFORMATION IN THE PROFILE BELOW TO INQUIRE ABOUT ADOPTING.

Penny is a sweet, frisky 12 year old long-haired cat. It would be preferred if Penny and Turk were adopted together. She gets along fine with other pets. Penny is a friendly lady who loves to curl up on your lap while watching TV or right next to you while you sleep. She is not afraid of visitors and is a delight for young children as she doesn't mind being pet or hugged by a toddler. Though Penny is older she still has her friskiness and loves cat nip or playing with a ribbon or such dangled in front of her. Penny is incredibly healthy. She's never had an illness and has always been a responsible litter box user.

We are having to give up our cats because of my increasing allergy to cats. We have also just had second baby and we are having difficulties giving Penny and Turk as much attention as they need. We would love for them to be in a home where they are getting the attention that they deserve.
