About Tilly

Adorable CalicoTilly      Found hanging out on a street hoping to find food. We found her and her friend Dillinger together waiting and both came running when we popped open a can of food.  Easy enough to rescue and get into the car to start their journey to their new life. Dillinger was dirty but previously neutered and Tilly was also dirty and hungry and need to be spayed, vaccinated and tested neg. Now she wants a home of her own so she can always be indoors and never worry again about weather and food. Is your house her house? Tilly would do best in a home without children   to meet Tilly email Kathy at  to fill out an application you can find on line on our website: or pick up a hard copy at Le Cat Cafe at 2713 W Girard Ave

Meet Frosty! What a story- We heard crying at 4 am in mid January under the hood of this car! By noon she was still in there despite numerous people trying to get her out and find the owner to open the hood. Acct and psi a were called. They said they could t help! Police came! Fire truck came! But they were of no help either ! Finally with enough time and food and coaxing and laying on the soaking g wet melted snow Lily was able to finally grab a little paw when she ventured close enough to the opening in the undercarriage  and pulled her out. We went immediately to Art City Vet. She has a slight uri and was dehydrated and filthy but otherwise ok. At GSR she wolfed down a bowl of food and then another , hot combed out and cleaned up and given meds for her uri. Within 24 hours she was playing with her toys and is on the road to recovery!     Her name is Frosty! She about 7 -weeks old and will be ready for adoption in March.   If you want to meet this sweet cat, please submit an application on our website: application.    All our cats are up-to-date on vaccines and ready to go home.
