This is Sal! Sal came into the shelter when his previous family had to move and couldn't bring him with. Sal can be initially shy, and takes a little bit of time to start to feel comfortable with new people and in new situations. He will need to go to a quiet home, with experienced adopters who will know how to make him feel comfortable during his transition to a new home. His previous owners also reported that he can occasionally get overstimulated with petting and playing, so he will need cat-savvy adopters who are able to read his body language, and give him the space he needs if he becomes overstimulated. Once comfortable, Sal will be a loving, sweet, and affectionate pet. If you're looking for a quiet, independent cat to spend your days with- come in and meet Sal today!
