Aleister was found during a forest fire. He was a newborn puppy. He along with his brother had been abandoned by their mother. He is now 8 years old. He is neutered and up to date on his shots. He weighs 30 pounds and is a mixed breed dog who is house trained. He is best fit and happiest in a single-pet family environment. He was attacked by a large dog several years ago, which left his right ear to look split. Ever since that time, he is very nervous and aggressive being close to a large dog. He is smart, lovable, and loyal to his owner. He has a skin condition that requires bathing every other week with a medicated shampoo, such as Dechra Miconahex + Triz Pet Shampoo. He is a certified Service Dog for emotional support, that allows him to accompany his owner in public places and on transportation. Aleister's original owner was my daughter. Because of various reasons she is not in a position to keep a pet. Aleister has been kept by a foster parent for the past year. Aleister is located in the Austin, Texas area. Baxter is a 3 year old Jack Russell Terrier mix. He has great hair!! All his vet work is done and he is ready to roll! He is extremely sweet and loving with his owner and is always ready for a tummy rub and a hug. Baxter walks well on a leash. He's super duper cute. He's great with people, friendly and playful. He enjoys running around in the yard and looking for varmints! Baxter will keep you safe from lizards, frogs, gophers, moles, and pesky squirrels. Like all JRTs, he wants to "get after things”. In order to adopt Baxter you need JRT experience. If you have never had one he will not be a good fit for you. He will need a securely fenced yard and an owner who can give him a lot of attention and positive reinforcement. If you are gone 8 hours a day he is not going to be a good fit in your home. Braveheart!!! What a great dog!!! This little guy is about three years old and is an extremely well bred Jack Russell Terrier. He is super healthy and has had all vet work done. Braveheart is in the prime of his life and he needs a Jack Russell savvy owner. If you have never had a Jack Russell before, he is not the right dog for you. If you are gone all day, he is not the right dog for you. Braveheart needs to be an ONLY DOG. He does not get along with others. He will not tolerate cats or any other critters. Also...no kids. Like all well bred JRT’s he is easily stimulated and very excitable. He needs a lot of exercise and attention from someone who will love him forever. Braveheart needs a securely fenced backyard and an owner who is home at least part of the time. He also needs a lap to sit in and someone to snuggle with. Dash and Patch are looking for a loving new home! Dash is a very sweet smooth coated male Jack Russell Terrier. He is 12 years old but he is still excited and enthusiastic about life. He weighs about 22 pounds, he is neutered and has had all of his vaccinations this year. Dash is chill just hanging with you at the house or super happy to go on walks. He is very affectionate and huggable. Of course he loves to be petted and told what a good boy he is. Dash is a very friendly dog, he is great with adults and other dogs. Dash is a little afraid of rain storms. The ideal home would be for him to have a nice secure yard that he can play and explore in. Patch is an 11 year old female Jack Russell who is spayed and up to date on her immunizations. She's a very sweet dog who is a bit skittish and shy at first then becomes friendlier as she becomes more comfortable around you. She is Dash’s best friend and daughter. If Dash and Patch are adopted together then they will adjust and feel secure that they are together. I'm rehoming them because I live in a mobile home that has no fence and I work 2 jobs. It is not fair to keep them confined to a crate for over 8 to 12 hours a day on days I have to work at my part time. Patch is a sweet dog and loves her tummy to be rubbed. She follows Dash’s lead on things. She’s the kind of dog that will give little kisses on your leg. She does not demand constant attention. I think she would be the calming influence on Dash. Mick Jagger is a 1-year-old, 15 lb. Jagdterrier available for adoption in the Dallas area. Mick is a typical Jagdterrier and preferably needs a home with Jack Russell Terrier or Jagdterrier experience. He is very curious, playful and loving (once he gets to know you), but he can also be very focused and stubborn at times. Mick is friendly with everyone at all times, but it takes him a bit to fully trust and be the loving, wonderful boy he is with new people. This beautiful boy will need a patient home that will give him time to warm up and settle in before judging him, and where he will be allowed to become a cherished member of the family. He would love a canine playmate, but is a bit too rowdy for dogs smaller than he is and children under 12 years of age. We would not feel comfortable adopting him out to anyone with another male dog. Voyage is crate trained and leash trained, but will need patience when it comes to the house training. Say hello to Whiskey! Whiskey is a sweetheart of a dog! He will be 3 years old in June of 2019 and weighs about 40-45 pounds. He is neutered and up to date on all his shots. Whiskey gets along with all the other dogs in the house (all are males) except for our dog Max. Max doesn’t like Whiskey so they have to be separated. Whiskey also gets along with female dogs. Whiskey even likes cats! He is sweet and a little shy until he gets to know you. He will nuzzle up against you once he does, and wants to be loved on. He loves to love! He knows to sleep at the foot of the bed, but also loves his kennel time. He also does very well on a leash and he is house trained. He loves storms and really loves to ride in the truck. He sits like a perfect gentleman in the seat. When we eat dinner, he sits and watches us and is such a good boy, never trying to get our food! Whiskey has been around young children and did very well and he likes every adult he meets. We are dog lovers and have rescued several dogs that we found as strays and are needing to find a home for some of the rescues we have taken in.
