Bonded female kittens Black and TabbyThis adorable pair of bonded sisters have come a long way since being rescued from the streets in the cold of winter.  Cassie is a beautiful stripped and spotted tabby. She is a little shy though once she trusts you she loves to be scratched around the ears and will purr when she is being petted.  She will need a patient loving gentle person with whom she can bond. Her sister Pawlee is extremely affectionate and gives head butts and rolls around when being petted. Cassie watches with interest and will come closer to get a look when Pawlee is in a loving mood.  They both love toys and playing is a good way to interact with them to build trust. They are 5-6 months old. They both love older cats and warmed up to my kitties instantly. Both Chewie and Sarah have CH (Cerebellar Hypoplasia), which makes them a little wobbly and adorably uncoordinated at times. Despite having CH, both Chewie and Sarah incredibly playful and energetic. (CH is not progressive so it will not get worse with age.) Chewie is the more outgoing of the pair. He loves attention, and being pet and held—he is a total purrr machine! Sarah can be a little shy at first, but like her brother, loves to snuggle and sit on laps. Sarah is able to go up and down stairs, but Chewie is still working on that skill. Meet Footsie! Footsie was found in cat colony after a rain storm.  He was soaked, skinny and limping, and as hungry as he was, he was not a quick rescue . He was scared and in pain! Finally with the magic of catnip we were able to catch him with a drop trap and took him straight to the vet.  His paw    was badly damaged but after three vet visits, we were able to save it and he has healed beautifully.  He likes    head buts but loves to help at the computer, a    gentleman and a scholar!  Footsie would be a great addition to any home. Meet Frosty! What a story- We heard crying at 4 am in mid January under the hood of this car! By noon she was still in there despite numerous people trying to get her out and find the owner to open the hood. Acct and psi a were called. They said they could t help! Police came! Fire truck came! But they were of no help either ! Finally with enough time and food and coaxing and laying on the soaking g wet melted snow Lily was able to finally grab a little paw when she ventured close enough to the opening in the undercarriage  and pulled her out. We went immediately to Art City Vet. She has a slight uri and was dehydrated and filthy but otherwise ok. At GSR she wolfed down a bowl of food and then another , hot combed out and cleaned up and given meds for her uri. Within 24 hours she was playing with her toys and is on the road to recovery!     Her name is Frosty! Meet Val! She was found in a colony begging to be rescued. We took her to the vet and it turns out she was previously spayed and put back on the street. She is so sweet, out going and good with other cats. Val did test positive for AIDS but still has many years ahead of her. Meet Valeria! 4 weeks ago Valeria was out on the street in esteem pain and unable to eat . Her lower jaw was broken in several pieces and several teeth were broken . She had been hit by a car! The feeder noticed her drooling and bloody mouth and asked GSR for help .we went immediately and took her to Art City Vet at 2001 Hamilton Street. After 4 hours of surgery she was sent back to GSR with pain meds to recover. Slowly but surely she has improved and is now eating both wet and hard food and roaming the house with the other Rescues. She has another check up the second week Of Jan and will be ready for adoption afterwards . She loves  people and would do best as the feline queen of the house.  One lucky lady  Dumped by their owner ! Meet Wobbly & Parker! This brother and sister duo were found in Upper Darby with their mama and another sibling.  They are both so so sweet and playful. Wobbly has Cerebellar hypoplasia , a neurological disorder affecting his balance but he doesn't let it stop him! He is the more adventurous of the 2, running, jumping and playing with everything. Parker is a little lady who looks like she has a mustache!  She is sweet and is adventurous.  While she is exploring every nook and cranny, Wobbly isn't far behind her ready to pounce. Wobbly & Parker would love to be adopted together so they can continue to learn and play with each other.
