THIS IS A GUEST POST - LOOKING FOR FOSTER OR ADOPTER - NEED A HOME BY 12/18. Blanco was found stray by a good samaritan. Unfortunately they cannot keep her due to home rental guidelines, beyond 12/18/18. He enjoys being indoors, and can spend time in the yard as well. Blanco loves pets, going for long walks, and playing ball. He is very good with children, good with other dogs (non-reactive on walks), and a very quiet, chill, sweet and low maintenance boy who just needs a warm place to call home. Clancy is a very sweet medium energy 3 year old 15 lb terrier mix. He loves people, is the most gentlest soul, and wants nothing more than to be a best friend to his 2-legged loved ones. He does very well with other dogs, great wuth children, and has zero aggressive bone in his body. He would do best in a home with people who are home most of the day and leaving him alone for very small periods of time, and in a home with another nice dog. He is an easy dog if he has some constant companionship (furry friend and/or people). He is a very quick learner and acclimates to his environment very easily. Fancy Dancy was found stray with three other dogs, and all were adopted from the shelter except for him. He is now safe with The REAL Bark, and is building his confidence. He does well with other dogs and would be great in a home with another as he seems to seek companionship and comfort in another furry friend. He loves the attention of his human friend as well, good on walks and loves the lap. He would also do well in a home where he is not left alone for long periods of time. Currently, he is not real fond of the crate or kennel, and is partially housetrained. He is a real gem with his sweetness and longing to be loved and cuddled and with his one blue eye and long legs, a real looker! THIS IS A GUEST POST - SEE CONTACT BELOW. Meet fun Fern! She is an adorable Terrier mix about 7 years young, weighing in at 11 lbs. She can be a bit shy initially but will warm up quickly to treats and walks. Once she trusts you, she is the most loyal and affectionate girl ever. She would love to find a family where she gets a welcoming lap to call her own. She gets along fine with other dogs but she wouldn't mind being the only child either. GUEST POST: BUNNY Katie was rescued from a parking lot where she had been dumped. She weighs about 4 lbs and is an approx. 1 year old apparent Dutch/Dwarf mix, she has been spayed and is in excellent health. Katie is a friendly girl who enjoys being petted and is working on getting used to being held. With human patience and the right environment she should soon be happy resting in a lap. Van Go is a 5 year old BEAUTY - handsome as ever and is ready to show you what an incredible, loyal pup he will be in his new home. Because of his past where he was abandoned, scared, scarred, he's is abit leary of strangers, but wants he know he will not be harmed, he easily warms up. He takes direction well, and needs a great, strong leader who will direct and guide him. and provide structure and loving discipline. He can be good with other dogs with proper introduction, and likely will be best in a home as the only dog, no cats, and no children - or with the right other dog. Waffles is senior girl at 15 years of age, with a very young spirit and heart, and full of personality as you can see in her pictures . She enjoys her naps and cuddling but thoroughly LOVES walking and is great on leash - she goes on 45 minute hikes with her dog pack!!! She was found stray although it does appear she had a home and perhaps her former owners decided she should just go take a walk... She became a REAL Bark dog as soon as we saw her wonderful heart. She is great with other dogs, is tiny at about 12 lbs so barely takes any room and great with cats She is a total sweetheart - enjoys rolling in her blankets, loves to be pet and cuddle., and is very very interactive with her human friends. You have to meet her to see her youthful spirit. show less

Winnie is a 2 year old, 30 lb mini English bulldog. She adores affection and loves other dogs as well. She loves to play play play and with others as well. Having had a tough beginning in life, she is learning alot about the world and life and enjoying it thoroughly! Her potty training is going well and she's great in the crate (quiet and happy). She had pyometra that was taken care of through her deep spay and just has some remaining eye examinations by a specialized vet to get through so we are looking for a foster or a foster to adopt to get her through her remaining medical care.
