Name: Chunky Thor Suspected Breed(s): DSH/Tabby Gender: Male Age: 8 months Weight: 8 lbs Personality: Sweet, friendly, outgoing, adventurous, playful, chatty Cathy Observations with Dogs: Good with dogs Observations with Cats: Good with cats Observations with Kids: Plays a bit rough for tiny kids House Training Progress: Good litterbox manners Location: DC area foster home Rescued From: Cleveland County, NC Additional Information: In the movies, Chunky Thor sits around playing video games and drinking beer. But the only thing this real life Chunky Thor has in common with him is loving the indoor life. Our little kitty had a tough experience in the outside world, losing his eye in a car accident, but it hasn't stopped him from loving life. Thor plays hard but also cuddles hard. He likes to play alone with toys, or especially with the resident cat at his foster home. He can be a little rough (which is why he wouldn't do well in a house with small children) but stops once the other kitty has had enough. Thor enjoys rubbing up against him, especially at meal or treat time, and would do best in a forever house with another animal buddy. Once he's done playing, Thor devotes himself with equal enthusiasm to his sweet side. He'll walk around the house purring at everything he sees and often will meow back when he knows you're talking to him. This can lead to some very enjoyable conversations! Chunky Thor can otherwise be found stretched out napping on the couch. If you're nearby during nap time, he'll snuggle up in your lap and fall asleep. Consider making this wonderful kitty part of your family today! *Chunky Thor's rescue was generously sponsored by Athena Hoover (who also gave him his great name) ________________________________ If you are interested in meeting a dog or cat, we require an adoption application. His favorite thing in the whole world is head scratches and if you aren't currently petting him, he'll wedge his head under your hand and make you pet him; it's the cutest thing! Clyde likes to be around his person whenever you're home, and that includes sleeping nicely in bed with you and jumping onto your lap while you're in the bathroom (there's no privacy with Clyde around)! He's never scratched anyone or anything he wasn't supposed to, never bites and can be touched absolutely anywhere on his body, making Clyde a suitable kitty for a forever home with children. Since he has so much energy and likes a lot of attention, Clyde would do best somewhere where his people are working from home, or where there is another large (or fearless) cat for him to wrestle with, snuggle with and groom all day, as at his foster home. Clyde sometimes plays with toys and his favorite treat besides getting petted is Greenies. Apply to meet the big guy today and you'll want to take him home for good! ________________________________ If you are interested in meeting a dog or cat, we require an adoption application.
