About Athena (Acc)

Adoption Fee: $300.00

2019: Athena is an ACC survivor who was adopted into a loving family. Unfortunately, due to no fault of her own, she finds herself in need of a home again. Athena is 4 years old and extremely loving. Despite all she has been through, all she wants to do is hang with people and give kisses. She currently weighs about 69 pounds but could lose are few more pounds. While Athena is not dog reactive, we think she would be happiest as your one and only. No cats for this girl. She would make a great weight loss buddy!! Please apply to foster or adopt.

We are over the moon and happy to announce that we have had a great adoption week at SCR cats! Some long time boarders have left their cozy cubbies at PetSmart and found themselves a valentines date.  One beautiful kitty is sad to have been overlooked. Good thing is she doesn’t know yet she will be alone after this weekend. With your help she too will be going home.  Becky is a 7 month old female black kitten. She was rescued from a hoarding situation along with some other resident cats/kittens. All have gone to their forever homes except Becky. Unfortunately due to an eye infection gone unchecked, Becky has lost eye sight in her left eye. Is this the reason why she’s overlooked? Because she looks different? Don’t we all have imperfections?  We are saddened to think that she won’t get her happily ever after due to the neglect she has received in her young life. Despite her  disability, Becky is like any normal kitten. She loves to play, purrs a mile a minute and is the happiest girl. Becky is extremely friendly and loving, she is extremely social. Becky loves humans, dogs and cats alike. She is up to date with her vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. All she needs is a home. We are hoping she gets to go home by this weekend so she doesn’t have to be left alone. She will witness all her friends getting picked up by their new families and she will be left behind wondering when will her turn be or why she is now alone. Let’s not allow this to happen. Spread the word, share and like this post to get Becky noticed.  To adopt Becky please apply at show less
