About Domino

Domino is estimated to be 2 years old. He is HW-, around 60 lbs, and is a pit/sharpei mix. He LOVES people of all ages and aims to please, and he is quite the character - high energy and a big show off. Domino was found eating trash at a Burger King with a cut off tail and broken tooth. He does not do well with other dogs, but has completed a training program and now knows the basics of leash, crate, and house manners. He also knows commands like sit, stay, gentle, off, and leave it. He would do best as an only pet or with someone who could keep him separate from other pets. He is a very high energy boy who loves to play and show off. Domino's trainer will continue to support his adopter/foster via phone or Skype with whatever concerns they may have. He is a very sweet boy and impossible not to fall in love with!

It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's a Bug!!! You can tell how Bug got her name from her eyes. It started as a nickname while we decided her real name, but it just stuck so well! Bug was a stray living off Hardy Toll Rd feeder. She lived underneath a shuttle bus at a Hotel. People had been trying to catch her for a few weeks, but we were called to trap her since she was too cautious of humans. Bug then was turned into Harris County Shelter and was networked, but unfortunately, nobody was interested in her. So, we busted her out! We don't know her story, or where she came from, but we know she experienced a pretty terrifying past. Bug always looks frightened and she is startled by pretty much everything, but she has the gentlest soul ever. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body. Bug is about 2-3 years old, VERY dog friendly, she is VERY submissive, scared of her own shadow but she has SO much love to give. She loves other dogs, and loves kissing them. She also loves to cuddle with you in bed! She will follow you anywhere; she must have you in sight. Bug is low energy, not vocal, kennel trained, not destructive (although, somehow blankets come up with holes in them 😉), she is working on house training and is about 90% there. Her favorite things include belly rubs, sleep, food and toys. Most people don't like bugs, but we can guarantee you'll love this one!!!! show less
