Meet Adrie, this 12lb Shih Tzu is about 9 years old but is still very active and enjoys being around her people going on walks and rides. Adrie was found as a stray at an auto repair shop in pretty rough condition. Be sure to look through all her photos so that you can see her conditon when we scooped her up. Thankfully with some medical care a good bath and a haircut Adrie is looking and feeling much better! Adrie is a cheerful little dog who doesnt let life get her down. She deserves to find a home that is perfect for her, we think she would like a mellow life with an owner who is ready to give her plenty of attention. If you think you may be the perfect forever family for Adrie please contact us! To find out more information on this dog please apply to adopt on our website at http://www.caretx.org/adopt and CARE will be in touch with you ASAP! This dog was rescued from a kill shelter or the streets and has been evaluated for medical and temperament to prepare for a forever home and is in a foster home in San Antonio, Texas* and is ready to fly to its final destination once adopted. Meet Becca! She just arrived at CARE last week. She has only been in her foster home for a few days but has already settled right in. This little pup has the sweetest face! She belongs in a family and we cant wait to find her the perfect one . Becca is from a large litter of 9 puppies, we dont know much about her past because she was left at the shelter in a plastic tub without any parents (look through her pictures to see the one we took when she was getting dropped at the shelter). We were told her mom was a Chihuahua blend but are unsure of the father, because of her current size we think Becca will be medium size when she is full grown. If you think Becca is meant to be part of your family and you are interested in learning more and speaking with her adoption coordinator and foster mom please fill out an application at www.caretx.org/adopt. Meet Blondie, this sunny little puppy is a cute as can be! Blondie is about 2 months old and was born at CARE with her 6 littermates when her mom was rescued from the city shelter. Her mom is some type of terrier blend (Scroll through all the photos for a picture of mom) all of the puppies have boxer looks to them so we are guessing that they are Boxer/Terrier blends. Blondie is currently in a foster home with her littermates where she gets to hang out with kids and the other dogs in the family. This is all helping this little pup learn how to be a well adjusted dog. If you feel like Blondie would be a good fit for your family and you would like to learn more or speak with her adoption coordinator or her foster family please submit an application at www.caretx.org/adopt. Meet Chai, this little lady is such a sweet cuddle bug. Her most favorite thing in the world is a large soft bed to snuggle up in. Chai is currently in a foster home with other dogs, large and small and also a cat and she does great with everyone. If you are searching for a well behaved little companion to snuggle up with at the end of every day look no further! Chai is your girl. Meet Chevy! This little guy came to CARE from a rural shelter in a place called Goliad, TX. He is a quiet well behaved 6 month old little pup who is very happy about having a future with a loving forever family! We arent quite sure of Chevy's breed mix but we think he may have some Dachshund in the mix because of his long body and short legs. Since coming to us Chevy has been in a forever home with his brother Rocket and a few playmates and he is settling in very well with family life. Out of both brothers Chevy is the most outgoing one. He loves getting human attention and cuddles. If you think you may be the perfect forever family for Chevy please contact us! Meet Conrad. This 2 year old Dachshund blend came to us from a smll shelter in Uvalde TX. He is a laid back low key little guy with a pleasant personality. He is good with other dogs and seems to be curious around cats. His foster mom tells us that he does have some separation anxiety and would do best in a home where his family has plenty of time to devote to him. He also needs a home with a tall fence, as he has shown off his agility by jumping low fences. If you want to learn more about Conrad we would be happy to connect you with his foster mom. If you think you may be the perfect forever family for Conrad please contact us by filling out an application at www.caretx.org/adopt. Say hello to Dimsum. This little Chihuahua may be 10 years old but her foster mom tells us that she is quite young at heart. She came to us from a small shelter in Elmendorf TX just before the holidays. Her foster mom tells us that Dimsum is about as sweet as they come. She is used to being with someone and loving them with everything she has. She is very loyal and would make the perfect companion for someone who adores her. She is already housebroken and does well with other dogs and cats too.
