Cheeky qualifies for San Antonio Pets Alive's Seniors for Seniors program ... her adoption fee is waived for an approved adopter at least 55 years of age. My name is Cheeky but my foster moms call me Chiquis. I may be 12 but I sure have a lot of spunk left and am in wonderful health. I have been searching my whole life for a forever home and I'm not sure why since my foster moms tell me I'm the best dog ever. I'm potty trained, crate trained, low energy, I love kids, and I get along great with cats and kittens (but I would like to be an only dog). I also know how to sit and shake, I love car rides and am the best behaved girl in a car. I also like to happy feet dance for you when I get excited. I love to spend most of the day outside on my dog bed (which comes with me if you decide to adopt me). All I need is some love, sunshine, and a nice comfy spot to take a nap. If you think you have room for this deserving girl, please apply today! I am currently located at San Antonio Pets Alive! and I am in a foster home. By adopting me, you not only give me a new leash on life; you also save the life of the additional dog who can be rescued from euthanasia and placed in foster care. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the adoption application found on the website at https://sanantoniopetsalive.org/adopt/ After we pre-screen your application we will connect you with the pet. Send an e-mail to adopt@sanantoniopetsalive.org with pet's name and ID# for other questions. Please allow us up to 24 hours to respond because all fosters work with us on a volunteer basis.
