About Teddy

MMeet our favorite guy, Teddy! Not only does he have legs for days and an adorably different face, Teddy is a dorky guy! He was cracking everyone up in the office with his silly personality. This big boy walked like a baby deer with his long legs as he ventured around the office.  In his foster home, Teddy is just as silly and dopey! He loves running around the backyard and laying on the kitchen floor while his foster parents make dinner. He is the first one to greet you in the morning and loves to put his face in your open palm. Teddy is doing really well with learning his sit+stay, down, and leave it commands. He is house trained, crate trained, walks well on a leash and is a great companion on hikes. He loves to bark at squirrels but to everyone else he meets along the way, Teddy is very polite. He would prefer a home without cats though! His favorite way to end the day is a nice relaxing ear massage before he goes to bed. Teddy doesn't mind baths at all and might even be a great water dog! If you’ve been looking for a well-behaved boy that will do great with a large family or small, fill out an application for our favorite, Teddy today at snipsa.org!

Angel was surrendered after her previous owner unfortunately became too ill to care for her. A little shy at first, as her world just turned upside down, it took a minute for Angel to feel comfortable. But with each day of being in foster care, Angel’s personality shines brighter and brighter. She loves ear scratches and belly rubs and the almighty tennis ball is her absolute favorite. Angel will play fetch or tug o’war all day long! Angel is house trained and walks well on a leash. However, she would prefer a home where she is not crated as she does get stressed when feeling confined. We think Angel does have a bit of separation anxiety from being left alone for long periods of time when her owner was at the hospital so a home where you are present with her more often than not is best. She would also make a terrific officemate as she is well-behaved and will chill by your side all day. Angel loves to play with other dogs so as long as she has another furry companion in the home, she will do just fine in the house while you are away. Angel even loves to play with cats too so if you have a dog-friendly kitty, she is one happy girl! Angel just loves anyone who gives her a bit of attention and affection. She is an all-around great girl just waiting on her forever home. Is it with you? Fill out an application for Angel today at www.snipsa.org! show less

If you are HAPPY and you know it clap your hands! Well that about sums up our Elsa. Wagging tail, spring in her step, wiggly bottom, happy dance…she LOVES life. Elsa arrived to SNIPSA with demodex mange and chronic skin allergies. She didn’t smell pretty or look like a princess either. It would take several weeks, medicated baths, and a myriad of medication before she started looking like a healthy dog again. Now she is doing much better!! She may have an occasional itch or two but her shiny blonde coat has started to glow. Elsa is housebroken, LOVES children, sleeps like a champ in her crate, and gets special walks by her neighborhood posse. She would do well in almost any environment but would especially thrive in a family that is adventurous, is home more than they are gone, thinks dogs have a special place in heaven, and appreciates the journey of where dogs have come from and where they end up. Elsa is great off lead and doesn’t tend to run away. She simply wants to meet anyone that walks by. Elsa may require intermittent treatment for her skin so would need someone committed to her veterinary care. We simply don’t know at this point. If you are ready for one of the most joyous souls in the universe- please consider adopting the magnificent Elsa. Fill out an application at snipsa.org! show less
