About Duke

Who's a good boy? Duke! Affectionate. Playful. Energetic. That's our Duke...This handsome dude was rescued by Humane Law Enforcement, and while he's made many friends at the shelter, he wants nothing more than his very own person or family to love and be loved by. He knows sit, down and come, and he's willing and able to learn much more. This sweet guy really wants to please. He has a special buddy at the shelter who would be happy to tell you more about him and to personally introduce you to him. Please feel free to contact Or just come on down to Erie Avenue and ask a member of our Adoptions team to meet Duke.

Hi, my name is Bambi. My foster mom also calls me Jo, and I'm pretty sure Jo just means "treats"... and JoJo means extra treats. I am learning to sit, down, and stay. I'm also learning to potty outside. Only outside, says foster mom. I am a very fast learner and I really like to make my foster mom happy. I spend my days playing with anything with a squeeker and I especially love to play with my people. I am a HUGE cuddler. I love to lay on laps and I don't think you could convince me I'm not a lap dog. I like to be outside in the front yard, but sometimes I get nervous on walks. Loud noises likes trucks make me nervous. But each time one goes by, I'm a little less scared. Walking by a person makes me feel better, and so do treatos. The other thing that makes me nervous is when people sneak up behind me. Sometimes when my foster mom touches me from behind I jump a little. I also take a few minutes to warm up to new people. But I will take treats from almost anyone, because who doesn't love treats? I'm not sure if I like cats. I know I don't like squirrels. I seem to like most dogs, including my foster brother, and I am getting more comfortable saying hi to strange people. Most of all, I am a fun loving puppy! I love to play, jump, and be near my people. I also love to give kisses. I will be a great companion! Please contact my foster mama at to learn more about me! show less
