You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Barley is a playful and curious kitten. He was brought into the shelter as a single stray kitten and was placed in foster care with Oatmeal and Jet - two other single kittens around the same age. He quickly became friends with both of them and is the most sociable of the bunch. He enjoys toys, tunnels, and dangling zippers on your backpack! Barley is very curious and will try to play with anything he sees!  Barley would be fine in a house with no other pets, or adult cats, but we would love to find a home for him with his bonded friend, Jet. Kittens are bundles of love! Their personalities develop over time so we can't tell you exactly if this kitten will become a lap cat, a social kitty, a kneader, etc. Part of adopting a kitten is recognizing that they are babies and you will get to see first hand how their wonderful natures develop! Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped.  Adoption fees for cats/kittens: http://www.svpetproject.org/info/adoption Stay up-to-date on what our kittens are up to by following us on Facebook! https://www.facebook.com/svpetprojectVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. show less

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Jet had a rough start to life and thus is a bit timid - He was brought to the animal shelter after being found in a car engine! It took a team of people several hours to partially dismantle the engine and free him - only for Jet to immediately dash into the engine of the car next to them!  He takes a while to warm up to new people and things but can be very lovable once he adjusts. He was placed in foster care with two other single kittens and became very attached to another brown tabby, Barely. Barley helps ease Jet's anxiousness and helps bring him out of hiding, and thus we would love to adopt these two together. Jet may not grow into a highly sociable lapcat, but we hope he can find a loving family willing to accept him and help him grow. Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped, however, due to COVID-19 restrictions these procedures are currently backlogged. We offer foster-to-adopt agreements so we can place kittens in their forever homes as soon as possible! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Little Dipper is a stunning little panther! She came to SVPP with her siblings, Lyra, Orion, and Pyxis, after living in a backyard with her feral mother. When she arrived, Little Dip immediately "dipped" out and broke out of her enclosure! After spending a couple of days hiding behind a washing machine she finally joined her siblings in their domestication pen. Over the next three weeks, Little Dip gained more and more confidence and acceptance for people and indoor life. Dip may never be an overly social lapcat, but once she warms up to you she will show you that she is just as curious and playful as any other kitten. We are looking for an experienced and patient forever family who will be patient with her and help her blossom into a more confident and sociable kitten. She would do well to be adopted with one of her siblings Orion, Pyxis, or Lyra.  Typically all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated, and microchipped before adoption, however due to COVID-19 restrictions over the past few months, these appointments are currently backlogged. As a result, foster to adopt options may be offered with additional agreements in place to complete all medical procedures as available, while allowing the kittens to be placed in their forever homes as soon as possible. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Orion is confident and independent - the big brother to his siblings Lyra, Pyxis and Little Dipper.  He likes to climb and explore like his siblings, but mostly just likes to find a comfy spot to settle in and observe the world around him.  He's very even-tempered and warms up to humans easily. After he is comfortable he'll wander over to say hi, allowing pets and scratches and eventually turns up the volume on his strong purrr motor! We'd love to find a forever home for him and one (or more!) of his siblings. Typically all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped before adoption, however due to COVID-19 restrictions over the past few months, these appointments are currently backlogged.
