We do not know about her background but Dakota does come with an immunodeficiency virus called FIV. There is no treatment required to halt or diminish the infection, however, as a new owner, there are several ways to manage his health in the future. FIV is only contagious and transmittable between felines via bites. Cats with FIV can live with other cats, provided their personalities mesh. If you are looking for a sweet cat to share your life with, apply for Dakota today!

Allen came to The Anti-Cruelty Society after a sanitation worker found him in the garbage. The worker gave Allen to a concerned neighbor, who brought him to us for care. Allen is a sweet, friendly kitten who has been socialized to people and other cats. Now he's ready to find his loving, forever home.It is hard to resist the cuteness level of a kitten. If you think you are ready to add a new kitten to your family, remember a few things: kittens have lots of energy, and want to play, wrestle, climb, and explore all day long. Kittens thrive on having another cat or kitten to keep them entertained, as they can get lonely when their favorite people are away from the house. Kittens have not yet learned manners, so they will need someone to teach them important skills like how to use a scratching post, and that curtain climbing will probably not be allowed in their new home.
