Hi, my name is Simpson, the Opera Cat! With my elegant tuxedo, mustache, goatee and sophisticated personality, I am ready to enjoy some Pavarotti! I came to my foster mom after my dental infections had been treated, but I was very thin because eating hurt so much. However, foster mom has been stuffing me like a Christmas goose and I have recovered and my weight is much better! I am very calm, gentle, and get along with my foster cat brother and sister really well. I'm so chill, even when we first met I just hung out with them immediately (not sure how I am with dogs) and we've become really good friends. I have the run of the house with them because I'm such a good boy. I am a purring machine with a very soft and infrequent meow. I use my litter box perfectly, and I enjoy scratching on a cardboard floor scratcher. I also like rugs but I'm learning not to scratch on them. Foster mom thinks it will just take a little persistence and patience because I'm pretty smart and just haven't been exposed to floor scratchers before. I love to sit in the window sill and play with my string toy. But really, my favorite thing is just to be with foster mom. I really love when she comes to see me in the morning, I am so happy and meow softly, rub on her legs, and wait patiently for my breakfast. I love to be pet and get chin scratches, and I also love to sit in her lap or next to her when she reads. She can also pick me up and hold me now that I know she's safe. I have the most beautiful green eyes, my fur is super soft and I hardly shed at all (foster mom really likes that). Foster mom is really experienced, and she tells me I'm one of her very favorite cats. She thinks I'm just a really mellow, loving, almost perfect boy and she hopes someone else wants an 'easy' cat too. She thinks I would do well in a relatively quiet home by myself or with another nice, submissive cat. Loud, young children might scare me. I'm ~ 2 years old, neutered, have all my vaccinations, a micro-chip (cool!), I'm cat-friendly and I'm ready to go. I will miss foster mom so much and she'll miss me too. But I can't wait for my new, amazing, forever home. Check me out!!
