Hi my name is Cait, and I am a beautiful registered, mostly white pointer. I am 4.5 years old. I have been living with my foster mom and dad, 5 dog siblings, and a cat. I love my foster parents, especially my foster dad. I have had some hunting training, and my foster dad thinks I could be a rock star hunter with a little work. I am a little anxious with strange people, strange situations, or noises such as thunder, until I get accustomed to them A perfect day for me would be to run and hunt in the yard, play fetch, wrestle with my dog siblings, and then snuggle up for a nap on your lap. I love to go out in the front yard with my foster mom or dad off leash, and I will stay within the fence. If they call me, I come running because I will get lots of pets and good girls! I also do well on a leash if we are away from home. I have a small pen, and I like to eat and rest in my pen away from the other dogs. I am not destructive and have never chewed anything I was not supposed to. Note from Cait's Foster Mom: My husband and I are retired, so we are home most of the time, but we have left Cait loose in the house for a few hours on several occasions and she has done great. We have a wire e-fence attached to a 5 foot tall rail fence around our backyard, and Cait wears a collar that beeps if she gets too close to the fence. She loves to run zoomies and wrestle with his foster siblings. Cait would do well as an only dog, but would also do well in an active home with other pets, if introduced properly. Her previous home had children as well. She is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm preventative, and she is spayed.
