Meet Kiara! 🩷🐾 Kiara is about 7 months old now and is truly the sweetest little girl!🥹 She made the long trip from Texas last weekend alongside her brother Kovu, and is settling into her new surroundings wonderfully!🥰 Kiara is a beautiful mixed breed pup who is expected to be on the larger side once she’s fully grown! Meet Anubis!🤎 Anubis is about 5 years old and is a possible Dachshund mix!🥰 He made his way to us from Texas last weekend, and since settling into his foster home, we’ve gotten to learn a little more about this handsome guy and his personality. So far, Anubis is proving to be an incredibly loving, affectionate boy with so much sweetness to give!💙🐾 Anubis is a professional snuggler who loves being close to his people. Whether you’re hanging out on the couch or relaxing after a long day, he’ll happily volunteer to be your cuddle buddy! 🥰 He’s a sweet, affectionate boy who seems to adapt pretty quickly and has settled into his foster home really well. When it comes to training, Anubis is starting with a pretty blank slate as he doesn’t seem to know many commands yet, so his future family will need to help him learn the basics. Luckily, this boy is VERY food motivated… so we have a feeling treats are going to be the way to his brain AND his heart!😆 With some patience and consistency, we think he’ll catch on quickly. He currently lives with other large male dogs and plays great with them!🐶 He seems to enjoy having doggy friends and has done well sharing his space with the crew. Chickens, however… are a definite NO for Anubis.😅 He has shown a strong prey drive toward the chickens in his foster home, so he’ll need a home without chickens or other small farm animals. Anubis is mostly potty trained and continues to do well with a consistent routine. She is still learning the ropes of kennel training and potty training but already making such great progress !! She absolutely loves to be outside in the sunshine and discovered that water and the pool are her favorite thing (she could splash around all day if we would let her) ! Sunny is so friendly with all dogs and really loves to play with them once she’s warmed up , she would thrive in a home with other dogs who could show her the ropes and teach her what this new life of being a dog and companion is all about ! 🏠💕 She can be shy at first when meeting anyone new, especially without any dogs around, but food and pup cup outings will make you her best friend 🤍 This little girl is the biggest foodie and it’s been a big help in learning the kennel is a safe place and trying to master some tricks along the way ! I would do well with older kids as younger kids can be a bit much for me.🥹I’ve been working really hard on all my puppy manners! I’m doing great in my kennel, I’m learning to walk nicely on a leash, and I’m doing an awesome job with potty training. I’ve even started figuring out the doggy door like a pro! I made the long trip here from Texas a couple of weeks ago, and even though everything was new and a little scary, my foster family says I settled in almost right away. I guess I just knew I was finally getting a chance at the good life.🥹 If you’re looking for an easygoing, happy go lucky puppy, I think we should meet! I love making new friends and have done great with everyone I’ve met. Dogs? Yep! Cats? Yep! Kids? ABSOLUTELY!❤️ I love being around my people and am always ready for belly rubs, snuggles, or a little playtime.😆 I’ve also been working really hard on being the best boy. She absolutely adores kids and has done wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and even farm animals like chickens, pigs, and ducks. She’s also been around cattle and doesn’t seem bothered by them. Jackie’s story started off a little rough. She and her siblings were raised outdoors, and despite their mom doing everything she could to care for them, food was scarce. When they were finally brought to safety, all of the puppies were very sick with coccidia. Jackie is the only survivor of her litter—a true little fighter with a resilient spirit. Allow us to introduce you to this handsome young man, Henry! 💚 Henry was rescued alongside his mom from the streets of Texas and is now ready for a fresh start and a forever home. 🥰 As the only surviving pup from his litter, he’s proven to be incredibly resilient. He’s about 1.5 years old and is incredibly sweet, smart, and eager to learn and please.🥹 This is Henry’s first time being separated from his mom, so the world is still very new to him.💙 Henry is still a bit shy and unsure of the world, but he’s very curious and taking everything in as he adjusts to the good life. His confidence really shines when he’s around another confident dog! 🐶 He’s already doing great with a routine, he goes outside consistently, he walks AMAZINGLY on a leash, whether on a harness or flat collar, and rides beautifully in the car.🩵 Henry is treat-motivated and loves to learn, which makes him a great candidate for continued training. He enjoys chasing toys (though returning them is still optional in his opinion 😄), and when he’s done playing, you’ll often find him stretched out in the yard soaking up the sun. ☀️🐾 We are told he’s been around kids and has done well with them. Despite being abandoned at a boarding facility in Texas (we truly don’t understand how anyone could leave this amazing boy behind 😢), Cheeto hasn’t let his past dull his shine one bit.🥹 Since arriving in his foster home, he has been an absolute star—well-mannered, gentle, and just happy to be loved. He does great with other dogs and is especially wonderful with kids, making him the perfect addition to a family looking for a loyal and loving companion.🥰 Chico is the definition of a “chill” dog. Whether it’s lounging by your side, soaking up attention, or just quietly keeping you company, he’s always content. Meet Bob 🐾 Bob is looking for a new home or foster very soon due to unforeseen and unexpected circumstances—through no fault of his own. He was adopted from us about 2 years ago and has been deeply loved. His family cares about him so much and just wants to make sure he goes to a safe, loving home. Hi, I’m Bob (but I respond best to “Bob Bob”)! I’m about 3 years old and full of personality. I’ve lived with kids of all ages and love being part of a family. I’m crate-trained and see my kennel as my safe space, but I’d much rather be near you—snuggling, relaxing on my bed, or just hanging out. I LOVE walks, car rides, and being involved in whatever you’re doing (I might even sit at the table to “join” you). I have lived with other dogs and love to play (sometimes I get a little silly, like trapping them under blankets). Cats aren’t really my thing—they’re a bit scary to me. Fun facts: I LOVE ice cubes (the icemaker is my favorite sound), ear scratches are the best, and I’ll happily watch the vacuum or wait by the door for you to come home. I’m originally from Texas and now in Rapid City, ready to find my next forever home.
