Meet Tiago!🩵 He came all the way from Texas, carrying a heart full of hope and just a little bit of fear. At only 10 months old, life has already thrown him some challenges, but through it all, he remains the sweetest, gentlest soul. He wants so badly to trust, to love, to play without hesitation—but right now, he’s still learning how. Other dogs seem to be his guiding light, showing him that the world isn’t so scary after all. He follows their lead, finding comfort in their presence. He’s even met a cat and, despite the mystery of this small, aloof creature, he handled it like a gentleman. Loud noises and fast movements make him hesitate, so he’d do best in a home with older kids who understand that trust takes time. We don’t know exactly what his past looked like, but we do know it wasn’t easy. And yet, he wags his tail, hoping for something better. In his kennel, he rests peacefully. On a leash, he walks with quiet determination, still figuring out the whole “potty on the leash” thing, but he shines in the safety of a fenced yard. He shares his toys, his bones, and—most importantly—his heart. Now, all he needs is a family who will see past his shyness, who will help him bloom into the confident, happy pup he was always meant to be. A family who will show him that love isn’t something to be earned—it’s something that’s given, freely and forever. Could that family be you?
