He’s kennel trained, walks nicely on a leash, and LOVES his ball, new toys, and treats. She spends most of her day curled up quietly in the same corner of the house, watching the world from a distance. She’s not the kind of dog who will run to greet you or jump in your lap — not yet. But with time, patience, and a lot of love, we believe she’ll begin to trust and bloom.❤️‍🩹 She’s not suited for a busy household. Roo needs a calm, quiet home with just one or two gentle adults. At about 6 months old, Rowen is a sweet, growing girl who has so much love to give—she’s just looking for the right family to share it with.🥰 Rowen has done wonderfully with other dogs and loves to play! She submissive with other dogs and we feel she wouldn't have an issue with cats but we always recommend a slow introduction at first!😊Once she knows she’s safe and loved, her confidence blooms and her outgoing personality shines through.😆 She’ll need a family ready to help her with her puppy needs and guide her with continued training as she grows!☺️ Rowen is smart, eager, and would thrive with an active family ready for adventures and lots of love.❤️ From her foster: Rowen is blossoming more every day. I’ve got a sweet and gentle personality, and I absolutely love being around other dogs—they really bring out my playful side. I’m a pretty chill, submissive guy. I like kids, I don’t mind cats at all and I enjoy hanging out with other dogs too! Buuuut I’m still figuring out how to share stuff like food, toys, and bones. It’s not that I want to be greedy—I just haven’t quite learned the rules yet. However, I landed in a great foster where my foster mom has been helping me become the best boy ever and teaching me to share with other dogs, i'm doing great she says!🥳 With the right structure in the home, i thrive and do amazing with everyone!😊 I can be a tiny bit shy at first, but once I know you, I’m affectionate, playful, and ready for all the adventures. Shiloh has been waiting so long for someone to see her. Really see her.**🥺❤️‍🩹 For over SIX long months, this beautiful, resilient girl has been wondering when it’ll finally be her turn. She’s done everything right. She’s tried so hard. And still—no home of her own?! Shiloh was once at risk of being euthanized in a New Mexico shelter. She was saved just in time and brought to safety in South Dakota with hopes of a brighter future. Since then, she’s completed three weeks of professional training with the South Dakota Canine Center and has transformed into an incredibly well-mannered dog.🩷 She loves to play with other dogs, she doesn't mind cats, and would thrive with someone who can keep up with her training and give her the structure she blossoms under.🥹 But even with all her progress and heart, she’ll still be in a kennel run when we pick her up from training tomorrow. Still waiting. Every day is the same. She plays with her toys—always carrying her favorite stuffed one like a little piece of comfort she can’t let go of—and waits.🥹 She’s about 4-5 years old, full of life, goofy energy, and so much love to give. With her wavy coat and love for water and toys, she’s as fun as she is striking. Rory is responsive, listens well, and picks up new things quickly—especially when treats or toys are involved. She’s not only playful but also nurturing, having helped some of the more timid dogs at the facility come out of their shells. It’s me, Scarlet… still here, still waiting for a family.❤️‍🩹 I’ve been at the rescue since the end of October—almost seven long months now.☹️ Every day I wake up hoping today will be the day someone chooses me. But every day, I go to sleep still dreaming of a home that’s mine.🥹 I came all the way from New Mexico after being surrendered by my owner. I don’t know what I did wrong—I loved them with my whole heart. But they left me behind, and I ended up on the euthanasia list at the shelter. I was so scared. I didn’t understand why no one wanted me.😢 Then, I got a second chance.😇 I flew on a big airplane from New Mexico to South Dakota. I was safe… but not home. I even spent my 3rd birthday here.. The people who care for me now, made it special, but deep down, I just wished I had someone of my own to celebrate with. Someone who’d tuck me in at night, call me “their girl,” and mean it forever.🩷 I’ve been trying so hard to be the best girl. I’ve learned so much—how to potty outside, how to relax in my kennel, how to make friends (though I still prefer chill female pups or sweet boys). I love older kids, adventures, car rides and curling up next to someone who loves me.🥰 I’m outgoing and very smart and I promise I’ll make you smile every single day. I’ll give you all my love… I just need someone to give me a chance.🥺 I’ve waited through fall, winter, and spring. Please don’t let me spend summer here too.
