ADOPTED 1/18/26 Hi! I’m a sweet, bouncy puppy with a curious heart and a playful spirit. I’m the kind of kid who wakes up ready for fun and ends the day happily tuckered out. I’d be thrilled to have another playful dog around—someone to wrestle with, chase, and learn from. But, it's not necessary. I’m a very good listener (especially if treats are involved 👀). I’m treat-motivated, quick to catch on, and soaking everything up like a little sponge. I’m pretty much a blank slate right now, which means you get to help shape me into the very best version of myself. I’m learning all about this leash thing and doing quite well so far. I like checking in with my person and figuring out what we’re doing together—it’s kind of my favorite part. I have a lot to learn and am dreaming of an active human who wants to teach me cool stuff, show me the world, and take me along on adventures big and small. ADOPTED 1/9/26 Hi! I’m your sweet, slightly silly, very well-mannered boy—Indy. While my exact age is a bit of a guess (I may even be a bit younger than 5), I am healthy and have just the right amount of energy and the maturity of a true gentleman. I’m a very good listener—my foster dad says so, and I agree. I truly enjoy going out and about, and car rides are one of my absolute favorite things. Errands? Adventures? Windows down? I’m happily on board. I'm also totally up for hikes, long walks, runs - whatever you like to do. At home, I’ve got excellent house manners. Every morning I patiently wait to be let outside to take care of business—no rushing, no whining. I stay relaxed while you wake up and open my crate, and I’m totally comfortable hanging out inside it. Once I’m settled in my new home, I won’t need a crate at all… though I do seek it out for cozy daytime naps because it’s my personal calm corner. I’m not much of a barker—even when the mail or packages arrive. Quiet living suits me just fine. I'm good with other dogs and like to play. I’m good with cats, too—there’s a cat in my foster home and we get along jusy fine. My favorite toys are plushies, and in the yard I get a huge kick out of playing tag. Walks are something I truly treasure. If I catch an especially interesting scent, I might pull for a moment, but otherwise I’m a very polite leash walker—and I’ll only improve with more practice (remember, I’m a very good listener). I'm also food motivated ....... if you have cheese 🧀. I’m devoted to my people. I can be a bit reserved when meeting new friends but that's just me taking things at my own pace. I'm not one to rush up and demand pets from new humans I meet. Once I get to know them though I will definitely roll over for a belly rub. I hope I sound like the companion you're looking for. I’m Bo—but the kids in the neighborhood call me "Rainbow", and honestly, I answer to both because I’m just that charming.🌈🐾 I’m a 9-year-old German Shepherd, but don’t let that number fool you—I’m young at heart, healthy, and still rocking plenty of pep in my step. I’m a big, handsome guy who loves playing with other dogs, hanging with my furry friends, and oh yes… car rides are my absolute favorite. If you open a car door, I’ll assume it’s for me. Shotgun is my spot. At home, I’m a total gentleman. I live peacefully with dogs and cats, have excellent house manners, and know how to keep things calm and civilized. Outside, I may put on my serious face and dramatically stalk squirrels (it’s a hobby), but overall I’m cool, collected, and well-behaved. I walk pretty well on leash (unless I see a squirrel), pass other dogs like a pro, and don’t get worked up by neighborhood hustle and bustle. People are pretty great too. I’m friendly, polite, and happy to say hello without turning it into a whole production. I’m not wildly treat-obsessed, but I’ll take snacks gently—because manners matter. Most days, you’ll find me lounging near my people, soaking up the good life. But I also enjoy getting out and about, sniffing all the smells, seeing all the sights, and being part of whatever adventure you’re on. Hi, I’m Marsh—a stunning 4-year-old Malinois with the looks, brains, and personality to match. I’m friendly, social, and full of heart. People who meet me are always shocked I'm still available. I mean... have you seen me? Have you met me? I love being around people and making new friends—I’m the kind of dog who turns heads and wins hearts at coffee shops and breweries (yes, I go places!). My manners? Impeccable. My vibe? Confident and affectionate. My training skills? Sharp—I pick up on new things fast and truly enjoy learning. Honestly, I’m kind of a catch. I'm not sure about the little humans as I've not been around them much but I do ignore them when passing. I'm a pretty friendly girl and true to my breed, I can be a little mouthy at times so maybe a home without really young kids would be best, at least to start. Now, I am a Malinois, but I’m not one of those turbo-charged working dogs who need to scale mountains every morning. I’m active and up for adventures, but I also love to chill with my people and soak up the love. I’m basically your ideal “let’s go hike and then nap” buddy. I’m even fine hanging out in a crate when needed and ride great in the car. One of my favorite things to do is RUN and I'm super duper fast. I get to run with the 'quad' sometimes and man is that ever fun. Are you a jogger maybe? I get along well with neutral or confident, easy going dogs. I do have a little side-eye radar—if another dog gives me sass, I might sass back, but I’ve been working hard on this and making awesome progress. I walk beautifully on leash (get ready for compliments), love outings, and I’m healthy and ready to roll. And yes—I’ve been told I’m sooo pretty more times than I can count. Total head-turner here. One thing: I’d prefer a home without cats. I’m more of a “dog and human” kind of girl. I may be able to live with another calm, easy going dog that doesn't get pushy or bossy. I'm ok when left alone but everyone prefer to have a little company. So why am I still waiting? Maybe because people assume Malinois are too much—but I’m the perfect balance. Social, sweet, smart, and totally manageable with the right structure and love. I just need someone to see me for the gem I am. ADOPTED 12/31/2025 Hi! I’m Jasper — your brave little adventurer with a big heart, a bold personality, and ears that definitely have personalities of their own! If you’re young at heart and love a puppy who’s full of fun and wonder, I might just be your dream pup. I’m an independent little explorer who doesn’t need constant entertaining — I’m perfectly happy finding my own treasures to investigate (and yes… occasionally nibble on!). And that Roomba everyone’s scared of? Nope. I think it’s the coolest moving toy ever. I’m confident, inquisitive, and always ready to step forward and see what’s new. I’m not shy or reclusive — just a curious cutie who wants to experience all the things. I’m also a big softie. I adore my people, lean in for love, and form the sweetest, most loyal bonds. I love being outside, especially hanging out on the patio and watching the world go by — sniffing every breeze, tasting the air, and taking in every tiny detail like it’s brand new. Everything is exciting to me! I also have excellent taste and happen to love crunchy vegetables (yes, really). I think I’d really enjoy having a bit of purpose in my life — learning things, having fun “jobs,” and staying busy with my people. Fair warning: I do have sharp baby teeth and I know how to use them, so toys, guidance, and a sense of humor will be important as I learn good puppy manners. I like other dogs and enjoy playing — sometimes rough play — so I’ll need continued socialization and guidance to help me be the best canine friend I can be. When it’s time to rest, I’m crate trained and actually enjoy my crate, especially for cozy naps. Oh...by the way, as you can see, my ears have personality! I had a broken leg from my life on the streets, but it has healed beautifully, and I’m feeling great and ready for adventures ahead. ADOPTED 12/30/2025 Hi! I’m Tiny Tina — named because I was so teeny-tiny when I was rescued. I'm a regular sized GSD pup now with a personality to match! I love being wherever the action is. If my people are moving, I’m trotting right along beside them. I also like to watch my foster mom for cues. I don’t like being out of sight — not because I’m needy, but because life is just more fun when we’re together! I come running the moment I’m called, and I’m already showing great promise for both on- and off-leash training. I also really love to play! I love to play with other dogs and would enjoy a dog sibling to match my energy level. I think training is fun too! I’m a happy, peppy little girl who likes (and licks!) everyone I meet. I don’t fuss at all when I’m picked up, and I adore being rubbed all over — belly, ears, you name it. I’ve got a nice bounce in my step during the day, but at night I turn into a champion sleeper. I snooze in my crate from 11:30 p.m. to 7 a.m., and I’m perfectly willing to adjust to whatever schedule my new family has. I’ll may stay on the petite side for a German Shepherd, with what looks like a lovely medium coat once my adorable puppy floof grows out. I'm a pretty brave girl. Loud sounds? No big deal! The boys at my foster home play drums and guitar, and I just vibe. And when music with male vocals comes on, I tilt my head at the speakers like a tiny music critic. I might be a Harry Connick Jr. fan already. Oh, and full disclosure: I’m a puppy with opinions and a set of very active little shark teeth. I need lots of chew toys of my own so I can chomp appropriately and keep learning good habits. I did great with the dog doc and crising through the pet store in my chariot (shopping cart :-)) I'll need a dedicated human to show me the ropes and who will keep me social by continuing to expose me to new people and dogs. Hi, I'm Ramsey, Rams for short. I'm about 6.5 years young and 80 lbs of pure handsomeness. I mean, really, just look at me. My besties say I'm the prototypical German Shepherd Dog. I'm smart, loyal, alert, playful, friendly, affectionate and handsome - did I say handsome already? I'm not a big barker but will alarm bark to let you know there's someone at the door. I'm a super friendly guy so strangers are ok as long as you say they are. I love meeting new people and leaning in for some pets and scritches. I like to play ball and will bring it back to you (mostly) and drop it. When I get tired I sometimes want to keep it to myself and I can get a little stingy about giving it up It's mine after all, but if you really need to have it just fake me out with what my friends call an "airball". Yeah, I'll admit it, I'm easily fooled. I like to play but I'm not obsessed and will move on to something else when you want to. Especially if it's going for a RIDE. Oh how I love to go for rides! Quiet country roads are the best when you can drive really slow and let me hang my head out the window and get all the great smells. The wind in my snout, ears flapping, tongue out........pure joy. I like being with my person whether it's walks, rides or just hanging out. I'm a pretty chill guy. I've been to all kinds of stores - some that smell like my treats, a few 'whineries', lots of parks and places where my friends sit and share thier own snacks with me. I'm not a begger but won't refuse a good snack. I've even been to places where my friends put soap and water on me. Not sure why but I let them. I have to admit, the drying part is pretty fun. I have lived with smaller dogs before but thnk I would prefer to have you all to myself. I can be "around" other dogs but if they get in my face to start trouble, I'm no pushover. If they try to take my things, I can get a little possessive. I know, it's not my best feature and I'm working on it. but my friends think I would be best as an only dog. I can do pack walks and all that, but if another dog gives me too much side-eye and a little sass I want to give it back. If my person tells me to knock it off I do. I walk well on leash, have really good basics and I'm a good boy in the house. I will follow you around (I'm a GSD after all) and will hang out where I can keep you in my sights. I would like a home that has a little room to stretch my legs, smell the yard, maybe patrol the perimeter and just be with you. I've been 50/50 with cats. There have been some that I just leave alone (the sharp footed ones) and some I want to chase (the ones that run) and I do like to harass the squirrels if you have some around. Don't forget, your home will be new to me and I will just need a little time to adjust and realize this is HOME and you are MINE. Once I get it all figured out, I will always be by your side, ready to play, ready to chill and ready to be loved. Meet Parker! AFRP's newest puppy addition joined our crew after he was seemingly dumped at a local gas station. Luckily, a Good Samaritan picked this pup up and he is now in a warm and loving foster home! Parker is the sweetest little genius on four paws! This boy isn’t just adorable, he’s dangerously charming. Parker is mellow, snuggly, and happiest when he’s tucked right next to “his people.” And the brains? Off the charts. He picks up new things in a flash, always eager to learn, please, and show off just how smart he really is. Parker’s the kind of puppy who makes you wonder how you ever lived without him. Loyal? Check. Brilliant? Check. Perfectly behaved and ridiculously cute? Triple check. Parker would love to find a home with adult adopters, or with families who have dog-savvy children over the age of 10. In just a few days, she’s already rocking her toilet training like a pro. Honey is a total lovebug with her foster parents and insists on being her foster mom’s shadow (because why let her out of sight?). She’s also best buds with her doggie foster brother, proving she’s a team player when it comes to canine friendships. With new people, Honey starts out a little shy, but give her a few minutes and she’ll be melting right into your heart. Kids? Well, Honey is still figuring them out. I may have a big coat, but I’ve got an even bigger heart! I’m a sweet guy who loves to give kisses and soak up attention. Most of the time I meet people with happy enthusiasm, asking for pets and enjoying every bit of love that comes my way. Sometimes I can be a little cautious, especially when I meet new people too quickly, but if you give me a slow introduction and a moment to say hi on my own terms, I’ll soon be your affectionate buddy. I’m great with other dogs of all sizes and I’ve been learning to take cues from them. I can be a little pushy at times—hey, I’m still figuring out all my dog manners!—so I’d do best with a confident dog friend who can help remind me of boundaries. I’m not aggressive, just still learning the language. I also live with a cat and pretty much ignore her, so I’d likely do fine in a home with kitties.
