ADOPTED 6/27/26 Hi! I’m Diva — a German Shepherd mix puppy with beauty, brains, and just a tiny bit of sass. Okay… maybe a LOT of sass. I mean, they don’t call me Diva for nothing! My favorite thing in the whole world is being involved in absolutely EVERYTHING my foster family is doing. Cleaning the puppy pen? I’ll supervise. Gardening? Don’t worry, I’m excellent at digging holes and relocating plants. Giving attention to my brother? Um… excuse me… Diva would also like to be admired immediately, please and thank you. I’m playful, curious, confident, and convinced that every activity is better if I’m right in the middle of it. I love to explore, help with chores (whether asked or not), and make sure nobody forgets that I’m the cutest member of the household. Underneath all my silly sass, I’m also super sweet and affectionate. I love cuddles, attention, and being close to my people. Basically, I’m looking for a forever family who’s ready for laughter, puppy kisses, and a little four-legged shadow who thinks she’s the star of the show. Because… well… I am.  BTW I'm great with kids!🐾 **Puppies this young cannot be left alone more than short periods of time. ADOPTED 6/17/26 Hi! I’m Drifter — a fluffy little bundle of love with giant soft paws, a big puppy heart, and a strong suspicion that I’m going to grow into a VERY big boy someday. Right now, though, I’m mostly focused on important puppy activities like playing with my siblings, chasing toys, and getting as many cuddles as possible. I live with my four siblings at our foster home in Healdsburg, and we spend our days running around, wrestling, and turning every little thing into a game. I’m playful, sweet, and always ready for fun — but my absolute favorite thing in the whole entire world is BELLY RUBS. Seriously. If you rub my belly, I will instantly melt into a happy puddle of puppy. I’m the perfect mix of goofy and affectionate, with soft floppy paws made for growing into and a loving personality that’s already huge. I’m looking for a forever family who’s ready for puppy kisses, loyal companionship, and plenty of belly rub sessions. I promise I’ll make it worth your while. ADOPTED 6/16/26 Hi! I’m Diego — a German Shepherd mix puppy with a BIG personality and an even bigger talent for causing adorable chaos. I spend my days racing around with my siblings, exploring every corner of the house like a tiny furry detective, and making sure nobody ever sits down without me in their lap first. Personal space? Never heard of it. One of my favorite hobbies is splashing every drop of water out of my bowl and then immediately demanding cuddles while soaking wet. My foster family says I’m equal parts puppy and tiny swamp creature. I choose to take that as a compliment. I’m playful, curious, super affectionate, and always ready for fun. Whether I’m zooming around the yard, climbing onto chairs for “snuggle attacks,” or showing off my puppy eyes for treats, I promise life with me will never be boring. If you’re looking for a best friend who’s goofy, lovable, and professionally trained in making people laugh, I’m your guy! ADOPTED 6/14/26 Hi there! I’m a German Shepherd mix puppy with a fluffy sable coat that makes people ask if I’m secretly a tiny fox. I’ll never tell… but I will accept compliments and snacks. I’m a happy, busy little pup who loves running, wrestling, and playing with my four siblings at our foster home in Healdsburg. There’s always something exciting to do — whether it’s zooming around the yard, exploring new corners, or investigating mysterious leaves like a brave woodland adventurer. Even though I like to do a little exploring on my own, I always keep one eye on my foster family because I definitely don’t want to miss out on anything fun. In fact, when someone calls us, I’m usually the FIRST one to come running to see what’s happening. Treats? Cuddles? Adventure? I’m ready for all of it. I’m curious, playful, smart, and super sweet, with just the right mix of independence and cuddle bug energy. If you’re looking for a loyal little sidekick with fox-like good looks and puppy-level enthusiasm for life, I might just be your perfect match! My name is Chloe. I'm a beautiful black and tan 3 year old girl with red highlights and I'm looking for my new home. I was in a home prior to my brief stay at the shelter so I know how to behave. I have all my basics like sit, down, stay and even shake and my recall is not bad. I'm a big girl at 86 lbs so you need to like big dogs. I've been a bit stationary for a few months but getting back in shape now that I'm in a foster home with handsome boy dogs - must look good you know.  Anyway, I'm a friendly girl and like to be around my people. I also like the company of other dogs and I'm having a blast playing with so many new friends. I might be a little barky at first but I get over myself pretty quickly and then it's PLAY TIME. Just so you are well prepared, I love the water, really, I love the water. I would like to have a pool or even a wading pool in my new home. What girl doesn't want to sun herself by the water with a fresh bowl and a chew bone? I do ok on leash but every once in a while I pretend I'm a husky pulling sleds in the snow.....just kidding.....but I could use a little work on the pulling stuff. I do try though and my people are helping me work on it. My current foster says I could be a 'coffee shop dog' whatever that means. It may have something to do with my manners when I'm out and about.  I also like to ride in the car and will jump in. If it's one of those cool cars that sit up way high I might need a little bit of assistance as us girls must look poised when getting in and out of cars.  While I think I would really enjoy some fun adventures, new places, a bit of travel, I'm also ok having a nice dinner and catching a movie with my family. I am a healthy girl with all my vetting done. I don't mind handling and being told how pretty I am and I like a good brushing. I'm sure I would enjoy a bath because it's in WATER. Just throw in the soap and I'll do the rest.......but really, I think I would really enjoy all the "me time" and that rub down at the end....heaven.  If you think you might like a big, beautiful girl like me, just go to my page and apply and we can meet and if we like each other, I can live with you (you have water, right?)  Oh, if you have cats I'm not sure yet how I feel about that but there's one that lives here and I'll be checking it out soon and will let you all know. Housetrained?  Uh, yeah, I mean, did you even have to ask? My name is Guiness and I am an approximately 8-weeks old and weigh about 15 pounds.  I was found abandoned in So Cal, and transferred to a temporary safe haven in Danville, where I received love, good food,  training and my initial shots before landing with my current foster family in Healdsburg. I joined another litter of 5 siblings about a week older than me and almost twice my size, but I am learning so much from them on how to just be a puppy!  We run and play and wrestle and I'm learning good puppy skills like sharing food and toys.  I'm crate trained, leash trained and almost potty trained and ready for my fur-ever family! ADOPTED BAGSR REPEAT DEBBIE OELRICH 4/13/26 Hi… I’m Hank. 😊 I’ve been told I’m the kind of dog people hope to find — the loyal, gentle, easygoing companion who just wants to be part of your everyday life. I take that job very seriously. First things first: my house manners are excellent. I’m fully housetrained, not destructive, and I don’t really bark (unless the UPS guy clearly needs announcing — and even then it’s just a bark or two). I’m crate trained, sleep soundly in my crate from about 9 PM to 7 AM, and honestly I often tuck myself into bed after a long day. My crate stays open during the day, and you’ll usually find me relaxing inside it with the door wide open, happily watching my people nearby. I can be trusted loose in the house when you’re gone, and I’m very respectful of the home — I don’t get on the furniture, even when invited. I prefer keeping all four paws on the floor like the polite gentleman I am. People are my favorite thing. Truly. Neighbors, friends, delivery drivers, strangers walking by — I greet everyone with enthusiastic tail wags and my signature goofy German Shepherd sniff-and-smile routine. I love kids and am especially gentle with them. I recently met a three-week-old baby and approached slowly, carefully, gave one tiny polite lick, and then respectfully backed away. I’m more of a calm companion and observer than a wild playmate, but I adore being included in family life. What really holds my attention, though… is you. I’m what they call a Velcro dog. If you’re working, gardening, cooking, or relaxing, I’ll happily follow along and supervise. I don’t need constant activity — just companionship. I’m perfectly content going for a nice walk and then curling up nearby while you do your thing. On leash, I walk nicely and have very good recall. I can get a little excited when I see other dogs out and about (I just get enthusiastic!), but my foster is helping me practice calm greetings and I’m improving all the time. I genuinely want to please my people and try very hard to make good choices. I’m also remarkably quiet. Despite daily foot traffic in front of my foster home, doorbells, and an open screen door facing the world, I don't bark. Peace and relaxation are kind of my style. One small note: I do experience motion sickness and may get sick on longer or winding car rides. Short trips are easier for me, and my people can help manage that. My energy level is calm to medium — I enjoy walks and outings, but I’m just as happy being your shadow around the house or yard. I thrive when someone is home most of the day. My dream home is one where I’m not just a pet, but a true sidekick — part of daily routines, quiet moments, and everything in between. If you’ve ever wanted a devoted companion who will follow you from room to room, keep gentle watch over your household, and maybe supervise your shower or bathroom breaks… Well… I’m Hank, and I’m ready to apply for that position. 🐾 You like this dog...now what? Please take 3-4 minutes and complete our application form at:  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/42179/generic.  Our adoption team will quickly contact you by phone or email (watch your spam please) to see if it's a match!.  If you are already approved to adopt, please contact your Adoption Counselor and they will help you set up a meeting.  You can also sponsor Hank by clicking here. Adopted 4/8/26 Hi, I’m Loki! I’m a 7.5 year-old German Shepherd and people say I’m absolutely stunning. My thick, shiny black coat is pretty impressive if I do say so myself—and thanks to my amazing foster home, I’m now a healthy 115 pounds of handsome. First things first: I love open spaces. A quiet, rural setting is my ideal vibe. I still get a little startled by things I’m not used to, but I’m getting braver every day with more exposure and encouragement. I just need slow, thoughtful introductions to new experiences to help me feel safe and confident. I’m still working on my leash skills—especially when I see other dogs or things moving quickly. I can get a little wound up, so I’m looking for someone experienced with dogs who have leash stress, or someone who’s ready to work with a qualified trainer who can help me keep making progress. I’m already in training, and I’m a smart boy who’s eager to learn. Off-leash, I shine! I love visiting friends who have lots of space to roam, and, while I had a blast playing with my malinois friend Croc, I'm kind of like a high school kid who never got to interact with other kids...I need a little coaching!  I do often hang out with a senior small dog and just let him do his thing. I’m respectful like that. I’ve done a great job meeting new people, and I have excellent house manners. I sleep quietly beside my foster mom’s bed, and if I can’t ride along with you (which I love to do, even though I might bark at other dogs I see), I’m perfectly content to stay home. I’ve been trustworthy when left loose in the house—no trouble at all. And then there’s my ball. Ohhh, my ball. It’s basically my best friend. I carry it everywhere in the house and love a good game of fetch. I’m a big boy with a soft heart and a playful side. If you’re into tall, dark, and incredibly handsome boys with just enough mystery to keep things interesting, I might be your perfect match. I’m looking for a patient, experienced adopter who understands leash sensitivity and is ready to help me keep to grow into the best version of myself. I’m waiting in Danville and I’d really love to meet you. You like this dog...now what? ADOPTED 4/5/2026 Hi! I'm Marni.  I’m a fun-sized bundle of wiggles, zoomies, and excellent life choices....AND I'm good with cats! My foster family says I’m a smart cookie and a quick learner. Personally, I just like to think I’m highly talented at figuring things out… especially if treats or praise are involved. I’m already getting the hang of crate time and settling in like a little pro. I have also mastered the doggie door! Not bad for a young pup, right? I'm also really getting the hang of the leash.  I’m an energetic and playful girl who absolutely LOVES romping around with my foster dog buddy, Lucky. We chase, wrestle, zoom, and then do it all over again. Sometimes I test the limit but my foster dog brother is working with me on doggie manners. I don't have much of a prey drive and if you can believe it, I'm not even interested in squirrels! Weird right? Even though I’m full of puppy fun, I also have a very soft, sweet side. My foster family says I have a gentle way about me and that I’m incredibly engaging and LOVE to cuddle after a long day of play. Basically… I really, really like people. Like a lot. If you’re sitting down, I’ll probably come check in. If you’re walking somewhere, I might come along just in case you need company. I love hanging out at the picklball courts with my foster fam! I’m super friendly with both people, dogs and even cats-I’m always happy to make new friends. ADOPTED BY PREVIOUS ADOPTERS CHERYL AND OMAR SULTAN 4/4/2026 Hi! I’m Aspen — happy puppy, and student.🐾 I’m what you’d call a pretty normal puppy (the good kind). Curious, friendly, and excited about learning how to be the best dog ever. I’m already getting lots of training and have started group puppy classes, where I’m learning all sorts of fun things with positive reinforcement. Basically… I learn things, I get treats. It’s an excellent system. I actually love training games and enjoy working with my people. I play nicely and appropriately with humans and I’m always happy to join whatever activity is going on. Dogs? Yes please! I get to interact with dogs every day and I’m a very pro-social girl. I play well with male and female dogs of all ages and breeds. My best buddy right now is another girl pup about my age and size, and we have a great time together. I can get aroused by smaller dogs and quick movements but do have a small dog friend that can handle my exuberance.  I’m also pretty worldly for a young pup. I see horses every day and show no reactivity or prey drive toward them. I’m not bothered by noises, sudden movements, environmental changes, or livestock. I met cats when I was a tiny baby in my foster home, though I haven’t had recent cat exposure. At home I’m a very good girl — I kennel quietly, I’m housetrained, and I’m not destructive. Because I’m a bright, active pup, a home that understands my breeds would be perfect for me. I’d absolutely love an active lifestyle and fun things to do with my person. Dog sports, training games, adventures, hikes — yes! I’m the kind of pup who will thrive with people who enjoy doing things together. If you’re looking for a friendly, social puppy who’s already off to a great start and ready for a life of learning and adventure, I’d love to meet you. Love, wiggles, and puppy kisses, Aspen 🐶💚 You like this dog...now what? Please take 3-4 minutes and complete our application form at:  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/42179/generic.  Our adoption team will quickly contact you by phone or email (watch your spam please) to see if it's a match!.  If you are already approved to adopt, please contact your Adoption Counselor and they will help you set up a meeting.  You can also sponsor Aspen by clicking here. ADOPTED 3/9/2026 This little GSD "Imposter" is Yeti. He's a super friendly mix of labrador and terrier (guess) and about a year old. Yeti was surrendered to his trainer due to the owner's health issues.  Yeti is an adventurer at heart who would love to spend his time running around and going on hikes with you. Afterward, he's happy to cuddle up on the couch and watch a movie. He's a true cuddle-bug. He can be a high energy boy at times but settles down when asked to chill out a bit. He's a good boy.  Yeti is currently in a foster home and doing great. He seems to attach more to men but likes the ladies, too. He's housetrained, crate trained, walks good on leash with no reactivity. He's a friendly young boy that only takes a minute to be your buddy (and a treat or two helps).  Yeti is ok around other dogs and could live with an older, calmer playmate however he would probably prefer to get all the love and attention himself. Yeti was ok with cats in his prior home but they were outdoor cats and it could be different with an indoor cat so maybe no cats for this guy.  Yeti is great with kids and lived with three youngsters in his prior home. He's an all around nice guy looking to start his next chapter with an active, loving family.  Yeti is a courtesy post for our friends at Second Chance Canine Academy Training and currently fostered in the Santa Rosa area. If Yeti is adopted in Sonoma County, he comes with several in-person training sessions. If adopted out of the county, he comes with several virtual training sessions. If you are interested in adopting Yeti or learning more about him, please call Caitlin at 707-843-9940. No need to complete the BAGSR application. Just contact Caitlin directly.  show less

Hi! I’m Dash 👋 — your sweet, confident little sidekick with a curious mind and a big love for life. I’m smart as a whip and already pretty sure of myself for a pup. I love going out and about, and I jump right into the car like I’ve been doing it forever. Road trips? Count me in. I ride like a champ and am always ready for the next adventure. I’m friendly with both people and dogs and have been having a blast during pack playtime. I’m playful, but I’m also thoughtful—I tend to adjust my play style to match my buddy, whether they’re rowdy or more laid-back. On walks, I do great on a front-clip harness or a regular martingale, and I don’t get worked up over other dogs. I like to focus on my person (especially if treats are involved… which I strongly recommend). Speaking of treats—I am VERY food motivated and eager to please. I’ve already learned a lot of my basics and really enjoy working with my humans. I’m engaging, affectionate, and always ready to show off what I know. I’ve met Jack Jack the cat a few times too. I’m definitely curious, but I’m polite and respectful—no drama from me. I also happily allow all-over handling, don’t guard my food, and I have a special fondness for plush squeaky toys. They’re excellent. I’ve been lucky enough to visit lots of places and meet tons of people, including a recent trip to the Santa Rosa police station where I soaked up attention and played fetch down the hallway (yes, I do love a good game of fetch). Everyone I meet ends up telling me what a nice boy I am—and I can’t help but agree. I’m an affectionate pup who likes to stay close to my people, whether that’s for playtime, learning new things, or just hanging out together. All around, I’m a really great little guy and I can’t wait to be someone’s very best companion. 💙 You like this dog...now what? Please take 3-4 minutes and complete our application form at:  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/42179/generic.  Our adoption team will quickly contact you by phone or email (watch your spam please) to see if it's a match!.  If you are already approved to adopt, please contact your Adoption Counselor and they will help you set up a meeting.  You can also sponsor Dash by clicking here. Adopted 3/5/26 Hi! I’m Delilah — yes, that Delilah — the stunning sister to Thor, and I bring the beauty and the fun. 💁‍♀️🐾 I’ve been told I have a gorgeous form (I try to stay humble about it), but I’m more than just a pretty face. I’m sweet, smart, and perfectly puppy-active — playful and curious without being wild or over-the-top. I’ve got that “let’s go do something!” energy… with an excellent off switch. I’ve been rocking the foster life and doing great! ✔️ Good with kids ✔️ Dog social and love to play ✔️ Cat-approved ✔️ Sleep quietly in my crate like a little angel ✔️ Ride nicely in the car (adventures? Yes please.) I love to explore and check things out. New places? I’m in. Backyard zoomies? Obviously. I play well with other dogs and especially love a good game of tug with my brother Thor. Chase games? Also a big fan. If it involves movement and fun, count me in. I LOVE to snuggle on your lap and melt into your arms. Kisses help too !  I have a healthy appetite (growing girls need fuel!) and I’m very motivated to engage and learn. Dog sports, training games, puzzle toys, backyard agility, scent work — I’d absolutely thrive with an active human who wants a partner to do things with. I’m sweet, I’m social, I’m adventurous, and I clean up pretty nicely after a nap in my crate. What more could you want? Let’s go make life exciting together. I’ll bring the charm — you bring the adventures. 🐾✨ You like this dog...now what? Please take 3-4 minutes and complete our application form at:  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/42179/generic.  Our adoption team will quickly contact you by phone or email (watch your spam please) to see if it's a match!.  If you are already approved to adopt, please contact your Adoption Counselor and they will help you set up a meeting.  You can also sponsor Delilah by clicking here. ADOPTED 2/21/26 Hi, I’m Sasha. I’m a very soft and sweet girl who looks like a mini German Shepherd — I’m about 55 pounds right now and still young, but I won’t be a big dog. I’m that “just right” size a lot of people love. I’m a little shy when I first meet new people or go into new places. I get anxious and timid at first, but I really, really try my best. Once I feel safe, my playful side comes out and I start seeking engagement and connection. I love treats (especially soft jerky!), but my foster doesn’t lure me with them — they want me to approach on my own, and I’m learning to do that more and more. I allow handling just fine, and my foster was even able to pick me up and place me gently into the car. In the car, I’m very quiet. I just sit up, look around, and take everything in. I love playful dogs! I’ve been great with every dog I’ve met so far, especially the tiny ones who like to bounce around with me. Sometimes I can be a little too forward because I’m still learning how to “speak dog,” but when another dog tells me to chill, I listen right away. I keep my kennel clean, though no one is quite sure if I’ve ever lived inside a home before. I’d do best with a foster who’s home a lot, in a calm, quieter environment, with another nice, confident dog to show me how everything works. I shouldn’t be off-leash for quite a while unless I’m in a fully enclosed space and dragging a long line — safety is really important for me right now. I do come back for treats, though! I’m gently playful with toys and the ball, but I’m still figuring out how those games work. What I do know is that I’ll bond deeply with my person. I’m learning that the world isn’t as scary as it felt before, and I’m already walking nicely on leash and following my fosters wherever they go. I’ve had a rough start with humans, but I’m growing, learning, and getting braver every day. With patience, kindness, and slow, confident socializing, I’m going to become the sweetest, most loyal companion — maybe yours. Baron is a handsome 2½-year-old sable German Shepherd with a heart as big as his ears. He currently weighs about 55 lbs and is underweight, but with regular meals and some TLC, he's sure to fill out nicely. Sadly, Baron was found wandering Mare Island with another emaciated small dog. Even though he has no reason to be, this amazingly sweet boy is extremely friendly with people and seems to do well with other dogs. Baron loves being around his humans and soaks up attention-especially belly rubs, which are definitely one of his favorite things! On leash, Baron can pull a bit, but it seems to come from excitement and curiosity rather than bad manners. He's eager to explore the world and would likely do great with a little leash training. Baron already knows "sit" and "down," showing he's a smart pup who's ready to keep learning. While his house-training status is currently unknown, Baron does potty promptly when taken out for walks, which is a great sign. He also enjoys playing fetch and spending quality time with his people, whether that's active play or just hanging out together. With some time, TLC, and a little training, this boy will be the most wonderful loyal companion. Baron is a Courtesy Post for the Human Society of the North Bay in Vallejo. If you're interested in opening your home and heart to Baron, please head over to their website at www.hsnb.org and fill out their dog adoption interest application. Please note that only the HSNB online application goes to HSNB so you must fill out the app with HSNB. Go and meet this sweet, special GSD and help the Humane Society give him a happily ever after.   Learn more about him by clicking the link below. www.adoptapet.com/pet/46977896-vallejo-california-german-shepherd-dog-mix show less
