NEEDS FOSTER ADOPTED 12/13/24 Hey there-I'm Si, and let me give you the scoop on my story. A kind Good Samaritan rescued me and my sister Nu, and it's been quite the whirlwind ever since. First off, I'm a healthy and playful girl with boundless energy. Walking on a leash? Piece of cake! I've got that skill down to a T. Plus, I'm a social butterfly – I get along famously with other dogs and absolutely adore people. Inside the house, I'm as well-behaved as they come. I've got impeccable manners and know how to keep things tidy. But don't let that fool you – I'm still all about having fun and playing games. What I'm really hoping for is to find my very own family. You know, someone who will cuddle with me, play fetch, and give me endless belly rubs. I might be just a typical pup, but I'm eager to learn and show you just how smart I am. And let me tell you, I'm a total sucker for treats – they're the key to my heart! Oh, and did I mention I'm a great listener? Whether you're sharing your secrets or teaching me new tricks, I'm all ears. So if you're on the lookout for a furry friend who's ready to shower you with love and affection, look no further. Hi, I'm Mya! I'm a petite little fireball with a big personality packed into my small, athletic frame. People always tell me I’m adorable—and I agree! I absolutely love meeting people and form bonds quickly. I’m a confident, happy, and well-adjusted youngster. When I first meet someone, I might be a little curious about new surroundings, but I warm up fast and am always ready to play, run, and explore. Oh, and did I mention? I’m fast! Blink, and I’ll be halfway across the field before you know it. I look a lot like a German Shepherd, but there’s something unique about me. My foster says my face hints at a mix, maybe from my adorable longer chin and cheek hairs. We’ve got a DNA test on the way, so I’ll keep you posted! Despite my small size, I’ve got all the GSD confidence and agility—and then some. I love going out and about, whether it’s riding in the car, visiting stores, or even exploring agility equipment. Floors, auto doors, noisy playgrounds, strollers, bikes—none of that fazes me. I even visited the vet, hopped on the scale like a pro, and charmed everyone there. Treats are my ultimate motivator, and I’ll do just about anything for one! My eye contact is on point, and I’m super eager to learn. Agility is a blast, and I’m already tackling tunnels and obstacles like a natural. I think I’d be an excellent agility prospect with the right guidance. Meeting other dogs is exciting for me. I might feel a bit overwhelmed at first, but I show lots of interest with soft, friendly body language. I’ve met dogs like Ari, and while we didn’t get to play off-leash yet, I’m pretty sure we’d be great friends. I also met a small pack—ran around a bit but decided quieter, calmer dogs are more my vibe for now. With time and the right introductions, I know I’ll grow into a great playmate. I’m also a bit of a problem solver—like figuring out how to turn on a spigot to get a drink of water! (My foster says we’re working on the “turn it off” part.) I’m smart, quick, agile, and up for just about anything. Sniffing is one of my superpowers; I can find a treat with my nose faster than most can with their eyes. Balls? Meh, not so much my thing, but I do enjoy a little tug play now and then. I’m looking for an active family who will teach me all the good things in life and spend time helping me grow. I’m fearless, eager, and full of potential—whether it’s agility, nose work, or just being the fun-loving companion you’ve always wanted. Let’s get to know each other; I can’t wait to see where our adventures take us! 🐾 I’ll be waiting in Santa Rosa. You like this dog...now what? Please take 3-4 minutes and complete our application form at:  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/42179/generic.  Our adoption team will quickly contact you by phone or email (watch your spam please) to see if it's a match!.  If you are already approved to adopt, please contact your Adoption Counselor and they will help you set up a meeting.  You can also sponsor Mya by clicking here. Adopted November 29, 2024 Hi! My name is Max, and I’m still getting to know the world around me. I’m a sweet, friendly and calm young guy, though I can be a little shy at first. But don’t worry; once I get to know you, I warm up pretty quickly! I’m an affectionate companion who loves to stick close to my people. I’m housebroken and polite indoors and while I am crate trained, I don't need a crate; I sleep quietly all night free in the house. I don’t bark much but I might let out a few woofs if I see something exciting like a deer!  Other dogs? No problem! I love their company.  I ride nicely in the car too.  I'll need some training but am catching on to new things quickly and I love treats. I would love to go to dog school with my new person! And please know that I learn best with gentle guidance. I'm a soft boy and harshness hurts my feelings.  I haven't learned about the leash yet and probably will enjoy leash walks. I like sitting on the couch with my humans too!  My foster dad says I'm good with all kinds of people and dogs. If you’re looking for a smart, sweet, and adaptable buddy, I might just be the perfect match for you! Oh…by the way, I’m a great size at about 55 pounds but my foster parents are trying to put a few more needed pounds on me. I’ll be waiting in Auburn. Hope to meet you!  You like this dog...now what? ADOPTED 11/25/24 Hi! I’m Neko. I am a very sweet, curious, intelligent, and good-natured youngster. I’m a happy, friendly, intelligent boy looking for a home to call my very own. Some good Samaritans found me wandering the streets. Thankfully they took me in and contacted my friends at BAGSR to help find my perfect match. If you're looking for the bestest boy, you've come to the right place! I’d do great in a home with another dog companion, with an outdoorsy owner, or even a home with active kids. I love meeting new people and have never shown aggressive behavior to any person or dog. I love adventures like long walks, visits to parks, and hikes. I also travel well in the car and go easily into my safety crate. I’m housebroken and rarely bark or claw at doors to be let in or out—I usually just stand or lie by the door. I sleep in my foster mom and dad's bedroom on a dog bed, and I like to sleep or nap in a cozy corner or against a wall. I also know which rooms in the house are off-limits. I’m comfortable being touched anywhere on my body, including my head, paws and tail, and I’m not possessive of or aggressive around my food or toys. I’m very quiet and only bark occasionally when I’m startled or if I’m super excited and ready to play—I don’t bark in response to other dogs barking. I might bark a few times at sudden, unfamiliar sounds outside, but I stop quickly. The only time I’ve ever growled is when I’m outside tugging on my play rope, but even then I hardly make any noise. I really enjoy meeting new people, including kids, and I love playing with other dogs too. I like to be scratched and petted, and often throw a front leg across my humans' arm while lying down in a sort of “hug.” When I’ve had enough of being touched, I just move away. I’m very good on a leash, rarely tugging, and I’m taking obedience classes, learning commands like “sit,” “heel,”  “wait,” “leave it,” and more. I learn very quickly and am eager to please, and love getting treats or praise to reinforce good behavior. My foster parents can even trim my nails easily, a few at a time, alternating a clip with a treat. I take goodies gently and don’t snap or bite. I absolutely love water, including hoses, sprinklers, and on-leash wades in rivers, and I’m easy to bathe, drying quickly and shedding minimally because I don’t have a thick undercoat like some German Shepherds. I don’t gnaw on furniture, shoes, or anything else in the house except my chew toys, and I don’t dig in the garden. I’m very “handy” with my long, flexible toes that grip almost like a cat’s, using them to grab my toys firmly. This is a courtesy post and I'll be waiting in Stockton. Hope to meet you! ADOPTED 11/20/24 Kali is just a whole lot of fun!  She loves meeting new people and she's really, really curious  - doesn't miss much at all - and wants to assist with any outdoor activities, from stacking wood to raking to?  She is famous for her (outdoor) zoomies - fast as a speeding bullet, just totally enjoying the great outdoors when her person is with her.  Here's the really cool thing about this youngster (around 2 years old) - once inside she explores briefly - after all, something might have been moved since a couple of hours ago - and then just picks up one of her chew toys or takes a nap (my kinda girl) and chills out by her human; even for several hours.  She loves car rides and playing in water with a toy; her foster has a low horse watering tank and caught her putting a bucket in, splashing around and then taking it out - repeating as needed.  We think Kali is German Shepherd with a bit of Malinois but she's not telling us about her parents!  She also wants to play with other dogs and is trying to make friends with a grumpy old Golden Retriever who'd rather fence fight but she doesn't give up. She has high hopes for this scrooge of a neighbor dog.  We're thinking she'd do well as either an only dog with a fairly active family or a companion dog who's not so grouchy. She's being fostered in Auburn. Cayenne is a 5 month old Belgian Malinois mix (Belgian Malinois, Border Collie, German Shepherd and Super Mutt). She was found running stray in Stockton. Due to lack of space, Cayenne was due to be euthanized, but a fellow rescue organziation made BAGSR aware of her and we came to her rescue. Cayenne is smart with lots of curiostiy and a fair amount of energy but also enjoys her downtime. Cayenne is fun and is enjoying learning new things and being exposed to new situations. She would excel in agility, rally, nose work or barn hunt sports. She would also be a fantastic hiking partner. Although she's made up of a few active breeds, she does really well with just a vigorous morning walk. Her foster mom has dog doors and Cayenne is often found taking her toys outside and playing in the grass all by herself. She is able to entertain herself quite nicely. She loves to play with other dogs and is quite brave meeting new dogs. Cayenne does take correction from them well, but is not a pushover. Cayenne would love an experienced dog person that is willing to exercise her body and brain and willing to train. She is smart, confident and fun. Another playful dog would be fun for her, but not necessary. She LOVES people and is engaging and affectionate. She sleeps quietly in her crate all night. Cayenne learns very quickly. She literally learned how to "sit" in about two minutes. She also knows "down" and we're working on recall. If you're active and willing to train, Cayenne could be the right fit for you. She's waiting for someone to make her into a great dog since she's already an awesome puppy! She will be waiting in Granite Bay for her forever person. Hi, I’m Mey, a petite 45 lb super sweet Malinois girl. For a Malinois, I'm a bit of a unicorn. I don't have the crazy drive and the need to work 24/7. I absolutely love being around my people and will get as close as I can to soak up all the love and attention. If there's a lap availalbe, I'm in it. I’m friendly with all kinds of dogs, though I prefer calm, easy-going ones. Don't get me wrong, I like to play, but I'm not really a rough and tumble girl. I haven’t shown any prey drive and might be okay with cats—after all, I lived with one in my previous foster home. I’m a total people pleaser and would do best with a family that’s around a bit because I really like my people. I would do fine with another nice dog to keep me company, too. Loud noises and different environments don’t bother me at all, and I love going out.  I’m not shy, but I might take a few seconds to warm up to new people. Once I do, I’m the biggest snuggle bug you’ll ever meet! I love playing fetch and bringing the ball back, but it's more of a casual thing with me. While I am very treat-motivated, I really thrive on praise and attention. I'm calm in the car and love to go. I'm crate trained, though it’s not my favorite place to be. I like playing in water, belly rubs and stretching out next to my person (heavy emphasis on belly rubs). I walk well on a front-clip harness, though I do pull a bit on a martingale. I think I’d be great with kids maybe past the toddler stage—I’ve met a few and didn’t mind them much. If you’re looking for a calm, loving, and loyal companion, I’m your girl! Molly is looking for a new home. She was originally abandoned at a beach in Southern California in September 2023 and came into the care of Greyhound Friends for Life adoption group because she was thought to be a greyhound mix. But DNA testing revealed that she is primarily Doberman and Malinois. In October ’23, she was adopted by a family. After about 7 months, she decided she didn’t like the resident cat, so she was returned to GFFL and is now in foster care. Molly is estimated to be around 3 years old.  Walks are the highlight of the day! She enjoys being groomed and getting her teeth brushed. Her leash manners are good and she knows ‘heel’ (on leash), ‘sit’ and ‘sit-stay’. She snuggles up in her doughnut bed in the evening and sleeps through the night. She can be a bit wary of humans in certain situations (like tight entrances or small spaces). Other than this, she loves to be with humans, loves attention and she will look at you for guidance. She is a strong and healthy girl, kept on heartworm medication, and up-to-date with all her vaccinations. She is ready to find and bond with her special person and would do best in a home where someone is around the majority of the time. This is a courtesy post for Greyhound Friends for Life. If you are interested in getting more information about Molly, please get in touch with Marni (sighthoundstudio@gmail.com, 510-520-6030) or Barbara (bajudson@gmail.com, 510-506-6225). Hi! I'm Zuko, a young purebred male German Shepherd with a playful side and a love for being around people. I might be a little shy meeting other dogs at first, but don't worry—I’m not here to start any fights! Slow introductions are best for me, though I walk nicely on a leash even with other dogs around. For now, I'd do best as the only dog, unless my new family knows how to introduce me to other dogs slowly. I'm just a nice pup who had a rough start, but I’m ready for the next chapter! I really enjoy playing fetch and I’ll always bring the ball back to you. I don’t mind if you take it from my mouth either. I’m not super high-energy, but I do love to tug on toys too. I ride well in the car, and while I might bark at other dogs sometimes, I’m working on getting better at that. I am very friendly and allow all over handling and grooming just fine. I still have a bit of puppy brain and can sometimes get overstimulated, so even though I like kids, aged 8 and older would be best for me for now.   Something you should know about me is that when I saw a cat for the first time, I wasn’t too impressed—I might even get along with cats if introduced properly. I know how to sit and lie down, and I’m super motivated by treats. I’m looking for a family that understands German Shepherds or similar breeds, so they can help me continue to learn and grow. I still need a bit of training, but I’m excited to keep learning! Group training would be great for me!  I'll be waiting in Santa Rosa. You like this dog...now what? Sponsor Stan by clicking here. Your name will appear on this page as Stan’s sponsor and your donation will help pay for nutritious food and supplements and medical expenses. Stan thanks you! Hi! My name is Stan. I'm a big, confident boy with a lot of love to give. I'm around 4 years old, and we think I'm a Mal/GSD mix, but who knows for sure? I was found in Tulare, chilling out in a fruit orchard before I met my human friends. I'm a super easy going boy. I love to go for rides and explore new places and meet new people, espeically the petting kind — seriously, who doesn't? I've seen lots of other dogs when out and about and, while I'm curious about them, I pretty much mind my own business. I prefer the girls but non-confrontational boys may be ok with slow intros. I like going for walks and I don't yank my person around, that would be kind of rude for a distinguished guy like me.  I've got a pretty good resume, if I do say so myself. I'm fully vetted and recently neutered, so I'm ready for all the adventures life has in store for me. I'm crate trained, which means I won't bark up a storm when you need some quiet time. And I'm house trained too, so no worries about any accidents indoors or leaving me alone - I don't mess with your stuff. I'm a total lover and meet strangers well. I think I'm pretty affectionate, eager to please, and I've got some pretty neat tricks up my sleeve—like heeling, giving high-fives, and plopping down on command. Oh, and I've got this funny habit of walking between your legs. It's like my signature move! Now, about those treats... I really really like treats. My current foster mom said I take treats like a starving pirahana and may get your fingers - but not on purpose, I don't like fingers. Still, I doubt I could help myself from snatching a treat from a kid if given the chance, so it's best if I live with a family that has older kids. I love kids (recently got mobbed by a Girl Scouts group and loved every minutes of it) but those yummy treats........ I'm looking for a family who can be my leader and guide me as I continue to learn and grow. I'm a big, confident boy, and I need someone who knows their way around large breeds like me. But trust me, I'm worth it—I'll be your loyal companion for life. So if you're looking for an awesome dog like me, look no further! I'll be waiting in Santa Rosa. You like this dog...now what? He is great on car rides both near and far and is wildly adaptable. Four days a week he accompanies me to work where patiently spends the day in my office and occasionally accompanies me around the nursery. He calmly welcomes each guest into the office and then settles back onto his bed. He is crate trained, but we’ve never bothered because there’s never been a real need. When not serving as my most adorable officemate, Buddy loves long walks both on trail and in local neighborhoods. He is very manageable on his lead and very responsive to vocal ques. Buddy arrived with some commands in Spanish and has picked up a few new ones in English. This gentle genius is bilingual. Buddy is a fantastic swimmer and loves hanging out at the river where he’ll spend hours fetching his stick from the water.   Buddy is about 80lbs. He is a grazer but he does have a healthy appetite. His age is estimated to be about 6 years old. He is healthy, perky and lively. Buddy has been vaccinated and was recently neutered.  Buddy’ was seen by an orthopedic surgeon, who did leg, hip and spine xrays. His knees and hips are in good shape, but he does have a couple of fused discs in his spine. He shows signs of arthritis due to his back, but it certainly hasn’t kept him from being active. Buddy his happy to venture out on 3 to 5 mile hikes, and averages 2 hours of walks each day. He loves playing with his deflated basketball, chasing a Frisbee (returning a Frisbee is another matter), and playing hide ‘n go seek with his Kong. Buddy is currently taking an inexpensive, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicine to help manage his arthritis. All and all, this guy is fun, fit and ready to get after it. Buddy is eager to meet animals big and small. He loves his small kitty cousin enough to share his food with her. He enjoys watching cows and wild turkeys when hiking and hasn’t shown any aggression. He’s always excited to see dogs, but doesn’t appear to have been socialized. While not aggressive, he shows some domineering behavior (accompanied by a wagging tail), and can be overly enthusiastic for most dogs’ liking. Buddy is always happy to give a polite hello to people both big and small. He has met small kiddos and was nothing short of a gentleman. Buddy is an absolute delight. While he is a strikingly handsome chap, he is alternately a silly little goofball with a smile that will melt your heart. I can’t imagine an easier dog to love. Buddy will be waiting in Santa Rosa. Adopted 10/26/24 Hi, I’m Noodle! I’m a friendly pup and get along great with dogs of all sizes. I'm very snuggly and hate to miss out on anything that's going on around me. I like to be part of the fun and be included. I don't live with kids now but would probably be great with them and make a very nice family pup. Right now my favorite toys are stuffies.  I sleep in a crate at night and will let you know if I need to go out.  I'm looking for a family that will include me in activities and continue my training so I grow up to be the best that I can be. I sometimes bark at other dogs when I'm out and about on leash so I'll need some coaching on that as I know it is not polite behavior. I'm sure I would love dog school! I’m a good listener, and since I’m treat-motivated, I learn new things really fast. I did awesome at the dog doc and I love going for rides in the car. Overall, I’m a fun, sweet girl who just loves life! I hope you'd like to meet me. I'll be waiting with my foster mom in Carmichael. You like this dog...now what? ADOPTED 9/29/24 Hi, I'm Ricky! I'm a young male German Shepherd with a lot of energy and potential. I already know how to “sit,” “down,” and “wait". Sometimes I get a bit excited and can be jumpy and mouthy when I first meet people. My foster says I'm easily corrected with verbal cues or distractions like treats or a "sit" command. I have amazing eye contact with my person, which helps me learn new things quickly. I do pull a bit on the leash, but with more practice and a front clip harness, I'll get better. I'm very affectionate and love to listen and learn. My foster is helping me work on my mouthiness, and I'm getting better every day. Car rides make me a little nervous, so I try to sit as close as possible to my person. I'm sure with more experience, I'll enjoy going in the car. Everything I learn, I perform to perfection. I think I'd really enjoy dog school, continued obedience practice, and maybe even competitions! I'm looking for an adopter experienced with working breeds who can continue my training and give me plenty of daily exercise and mental stimulation. I'm friendly with other dogs but can seem a bit pushy if they don't share my exuberant play style. I can't wait to find my forever home where I can be a fun and loving companion! Oh and something you should know about me is that I currently live with a cat and love to play with him.  I'll be waiting in Clear Lake. Hope to meet you! You like this dog...now what? Adopted 10/13/24 Hi, I'm Luna!  I’m an approximately 8 year-old female with a super soft light sable coat. I'm a gentle girl with a very expressive face and the cutest head tilt. I'm also quite cuddly and love to give kisses and snuggles. Everyone who meets me says I'm a very sweet girl.   My DNA says I am mostly a white shepherd, a german shepherd and a bit of shiloh shepherd. I have great house manners and am fully crate trained but really don't need a crate. I can be left alone in the house and won't even think of destroying your stuff. I also sleep quietly through the night. I like my rope tugs, balls, chewy toys and anything that squeaks! So if you ever need to work on something or just need your own quiet time, just give me a fun toy and I’ll go off and entertain myself. And honestly, I really don’t mind sleeping in a little some days if you want to however I would like a family that likes to play ball, walk, and go for rides. I am an active girl and have to keep my fabulous shape.    I have gotten along with calm, respectful dogs that don't get upset when I get a little pesky. I've done several pack walks and have handled myself like a lady. I have a head halter during walks as it gently reminds me to pay attention but I have also gone without it.  I may do best as the only dog in the home because I really want my own person.  I have lived with other dogs before that understand my style. I LOVE going for rides in the car! My foster family takes me out to quite a few different places. So far, I love the quietness of the country and woods are my favorites - Sooo many good smells. I absolutely love using my nose. Do you have a pool or could you take me to the lake? I LOVE SWIMMING.   I am NOT aggressive, just protective if I need to be. (I really like people).  I already have really good basic commands down, I am highly treat/ball mortivated and have excellent focus. I'm very bright, if I do say so myself, and need to be challenged with daily training, ball play, and FUN. I'm really looking forward to learning more and showing you just how great I am. I have also been told I am a great snuggler.   Older kids would be fine but I have not been around really small kids and they may just be too much for me. Oh, to keep my beautiful coat nice and soft, I don't mind my baths and brushing.  If fact, I love it.  I love the K9 blower, makes my fur really fluff up and clean. Really, any attention is good attention and I love to be brushed. I would also make a great gardening companion and I love to jusst be by your side.  So, if you’re looking for a fun, sweet, active girl who is also beautiful, affectionate and smart, I may just be your perfect match.  If you’d like to meet me, I’ll be waiting in Newcastle. Adopted 10/13/24 Marzen is an adventurous boy. His best life would be as someone's hiking or adventure buddy and he loves dogs. He's super smart and energetic. As with a typical puppy. Marzen likes learning new things, he's so curious and very astute.  He sleeps through the night and is fine in a crate. He is aslo respectful with all of the animals at his foster home. Marzen loves the baby pool and splashing the water around. He also does well in a big pool and with a swim jacket on. He does well out and about walking and even attended the happy hour neighborhood outing and breweries. Did we mention he loves food? He's just too adorable to mention and he is the perfect snuggler. He gets along great with all his resident siblings and has met so many dogs and people. He is a very rounded and well balanced puppy. And pretty mellow for a puppy. Did we mention gentle? He only chews on dog toys and bones, not your house or shoes.... how great is that? Ohhhhh. and he loves being at the vet ! He was only there for a check up and he passed with the best health check.  Puppies this young cannot be left alone more than a couple of hours at a time. Adopted 10/7/24 Hi! I’m Bella! I’m a 5 year old sweet, friendly girl and weigh about 76 pounds. I'm affectionate with and loyal to my humans.  My recent past is quite sad as my dad passed away suddenly and I wasn't sure what would happen to me. Fortunately my dad’s nurse promised him he would find me a new loving home and contacted BAGSR for some help. I am with a great foster family now and settling in while I look for the perfect place to land. A little about me - I have great house manners and don't bother stuff that doesn't belong to me.  And I wait politely and patiently while my foster dad is at work. There may times I'm a little cautious of new people coming into the house but I'm pretty good with dog savvy people. With proper introductions, I get along with other dogs big and small. However, I do like to be in charge of squirrel patrol. I used to live with a cat so if you have a cat we might get along great! My foster dad has been working with me and I've gone to training with him. I'm doing great! I walk nicely on leash and like to get out and about. I lived with a yorkie and we were best buds.I would love continued training and it would benefit me as I settle into my new home.  I'm a typical German Shepherd dog in all kinds of ways. I'm smart, a quick study, loyal and will bond hard with my people. To wrap it up, I'm a pretty, sensitive, sweet girl dog. I'll need a dog savvy adopter who will make me feel safe and secure. I’ll be waiting with my foster family in San Jose. If you like this dog and are considering adoption, please take 3-4 minutes and complete our application form at:  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/42179/generic   Our adoption team will contact you shortly to help with the process.  Floofball alert!  Kazoomie is what they call me (Kaz for short). The 'zoomie' part is my happy dance. I'm a young boy around a year old and just loving life.  I was at the shelter starting to wonder what was going to happen to me and a wonderful family came to foster me. YAY. Best part is they spend a lot of time with me and I get to go places and learn things AND I get to hang out with the resident girl dog. She's pretty nice but I think I am a little much for her sometimes. I know she thinks I'm handsome, I mean, just look at me.  I have normal GSD puppy energy so I'm looking for an active home that likes to play. I think I would make a good jogging, hiking, walking partner as I so enjoy all the sights and smells, meeting new people and new dogs.  Don't get me wrong, I can hang out and chill, too. Car rides are fun so if you are a traveler, I'm in.  My foster family is working hard to make sure I'm a great dog so they are training me and teaching me good manners, like recall for my safety. I'm also learning all the do's and don'ts of living in a home. When going for walks (love them), they make sure that I don't pull on leash. I don't carry on when I see other dogs and love to meet people. I am curious about cats but just curious. I may be ok living with a cat but I guess it depends on the cat!  I am being fostered in Sunnyvale! Come meet me!! You like this dog...now what? Adopted 9/11 Hi, I'm Henry and am I ever glad to be in a foster home while I find my new peeps! I'm about 7 years young (just a guess) and about 78 lbs. My last living situation wasn't so good and thankfully some good people saw my situation and my super cute face and got me out of there. I was in a very small environment with a bunch of cats! Cats are ok and all but a distinguished dude like me needs my own space. I was super lucky to land a great foster and these are some of the things I love:  Food, and lots of it!  Playing in the lake - the most fun ever! Hiking - wow, the smells and all the fresh air - nirvana!  People - I must meet them all and show them how handsome and irresistible I am.  Sometimes when I'm out walking, little dogs bark at me (I guess because they are little dogs), but I just look at them and turn away. I'm pretty chill on a leash and don't pull and carry on. I like riding in the car, too. So much to look at. Other dogs are ok and I adore my foster sibling - we love to play. Her name is Amber and she's also looking for her new home right here with the same rescue. She likes to be the boss and I'm ok with that, she's cute. She thinks I'm pretty cute, too, now that my coat is coming in nicely (good food and a healthy environment sure helps). If my new home has a cat or two, I'm probably ok with that as long as they are nice cats. A home with a family that wants a perfectly wonderful and absolutely adorable boy to take places and see the world then comes home and chills on the sofa with some snacks would be my wish come true. I know you are out there looking for me and I'm looking for you, too.   You like this dog...now what?
