Hi there, I'm Daisy! Let me tell you a little about myself. I'm a petite 4-year-old girl with a heart full of love and a zest for life. People are my absolute favorite, and I've always been good at making new friends. Meeting strangers? No problem at all! I just wag my tail and shower them with kisses. Now, let's talk about cats. I'm totally cool with confident cats who are used to hanging out with dogs. But if I come across a scaredy-cat, well, I might give them a little chase. Don't worry, though, I'm just curious, not looking to cause any harm. As for other dogs, I might get along just fine with an easy-going male companion. But another female? Probably not my cup of tea. I like being the queen of the castle! Cuddles are my absolute favorite thing in the world. Seriously, there's nothing better than snuggling up with my favorite human. And when you come home? Oh boy, get ready for the zoomies! I can't contain my excitement. I'm a big fan of walks too, especially when I get to wear my gentle leader. It helps me stay focused and enjoy the sights and smells without pulling too much. Overall, I'm a pretty calm and sweet pup with just the right amount of energy. Kids? Oh, I adore them! I'm great with them. Now, I have to confess something. I can get a little jealous, especially when that cat is hogging all the attention. I might try to nudge her out of the way so I can get some love too. Hey, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do! All I want is a family to call my own, with or without kids, who will spoil me rotten and take me on adventures. So, what do you say? Ready to bring a bundle of joy like me into your home? I’ll be waiting in Windsor. Hope to meet you! You like this dog...now what? Willow is the very most sweetest girl, super smart and eager to please, and she loves, loves, loves her humans and doggy friends. Her favorite thing to do is sit back into your legs and gaze back at you with eyes of love. She has excellent recall and loves going on off-leash hikes with her foster family. She has been crate trained and will settle down fairly quickly without issue. Willow’s foster family has been working on her on-leash walking and she has been making rapid progress and is doing so well.  They are also getting her out and about into new environments. She can get a little anxious in new surroundings but she is getting better and better with increased exposure to new situations. Willow is about 3 years old and is a petite 65lbs. Like most GSDs, Willow will do best with a home where she can get plenty of exercise and consistent training. She would love to have a doggy sibling to play with-she gains a lot of security from having a buddy. Willow has been to wine tastings with her humans and did great. She’s currently staying with a resident brother GSD and a Labrador. She often makes eye contact with her foster, checking in often and she knows some obedience skills. Through some unfortunate circumstances in her life, she has been bounced around a bit but has been a trooper. This is a courtesy post and Willow will be waiting in Livermore. Thank you to Kathryn Rothberg and Anne Spalasso for sponsoring our Pepper Spice ! We appreciate you all :) Sponsor Pepper by clicking here. Your name will appear on this page as Pepper’s  sponsor and your donation will help pay for nutritious food and supplements and medical expenses. Pepper thanks you! My name is Pepper! A DNA test indicates that I am mostly German shepherd dog with a little bit of Siberian husky. I am faster than my two foster GSDs – playing rough with them is lots of fun. I also have better search skills during “Find It” – I absolutely love this game and playing ball. I ride great in trucks, love going everywhere with my foster dad. I'm a great size for a travel companion. Once I know I can trust you and that you are my person (protector/guardian), you’ll be my world, and I your very affectionate constant companion (shadow) and playmate. From Pepper’s foster dad: Pepper is a spayed 10 month old high energy GSD that will need She will need an experienced, patient, gentle resilient handler with knowledge of R+ training methods, and lots of daily exercise to feel fulfilled/calm and bring out the best in her. She was a little fearful coming into foster. She bonds quickly, but the fear fed into separation anxiety relieved by chewing when left at home, and resource-guarding of the foster in proximity to other dogs, and to anyone approaching when in the vehicle with the foster. The resource guarding behavior and need to chew during absences is receding as she feels more and more secure. She is able to meet new dogs (off or loose leash). She is fearless around big dogs, but sometimes has issues with smaller dogs. Cats are prey, plain and simple. She has full run of the house (minus bedrooms and bathrooms). She uses the dog door, knows and uses her elimination spot outside, has good recall, sit and down. Loves the agility course at the park. Plays hard, then cuddles on the couch after meals. Leash walking, counter surfing, and avoiding general mischief are works in progress. She sleeps in the bedroom on beds on the floor with two GSDs and foster parents. Pepper is a great dog with amazing potential to be amazing if matched with the right person for the long haul. (Think Tommy Lee Jones & Will Smith in Men in Black. WS “Is it worth it?”…TLJ: “Oh yeah, its worth it..if your strong enough”) Pepper is waiting in Livermore. Puppies this young cannot be left alone more than a couple of hours at a time. Hi, I'm Cane. I'm a very handsome Belgian Malinois boy and I"m looking for my new forever home. I'm about a year old and about 55 lbs. A little more about me.....  I'm still a pup and I'm still learning but I'm ready to explore the world with my people. I'm an active youngster but not an over the top kind of guy. I do love a good game of tug and will give it my all! Balls are fun, too, but the tug.......definitely my thing. I love to jump in the car and have some fun and go to new places so that's pretty cool and I'm a good passenger. I can't wait for my next journey as I hear we get to go to really neat places like the beach!! My new friend Jackson told me about this really cool place with a pond.....can't wait.  Oh, I got to play on a "see saw" and boy, that was fun. Wow, there is so much to see, smell and explore........ I know some basics and come when I'm called (most of the time). I like to walk and do pretty well. I will pull just a little sometimes when I see something I want to check out but mostly I'll stay close. I like other dogs of all sizes and a good game of chase with some gentle wrestling is loads of fun. The loud, barky, in-your-face rough ones can be a bit much for me right now so if you know of some nice, easy playmates we could have some fun.  I've seen a few meowers and I'm not sure if I like them or not, very interesting. I haven't met many small humans yet, either, but I think I would like to. So much new stuff coming my way. So, if  your're looking for a boy that loves to play, travel, hike, explore, snuggle and even just chill, I would love to meet you to see if we could be besties. I'm playing in Santa Rosa so come say hi.  You like this dog...now what? Please complete an application at https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/42179/generic.  Our adoption team will contact you by phone or email (watch your spam) to see if it's a match! If you have already been approved to adopt from us, please contact your Adoption Counselor and they will will help you set up a meeting.   If you are interested in fostering a dog, please let us know. Lolita thanks you! Hi! I’m Lolita. I'm a six-year-old girl with a mix of German Shepherd and Golden Retriever in my blood. People often tell me I'm the perfect blend of beauty and brains! I live in a bustling foster home with lots of other dogs, and while it's a full house, it's always filled with fun and love. One of my favorite things in the world is meeting new people and kids. I have a friendly wag and a big smile for everyone I encounter. There's just something about those little humans that makes me want to snuggle up for pets. Now, if there's one thing that can make me the happiest dog around, it's treats. I'm very treat-motivated; just a whiff of something tasty and I'm all ears and wagging tail. But, I must admit, I do get a little protective of my treats and food. Sharing isn't exactly my strong suit when it comes to yummy snacks. I like to keep my goodies safe, so you'll often see me guarding them until I'm sure no one else is going to swoop in and steal my delicious treasures. Life in my foster home is pretty great, with all the different doggy personalities to keep things interesting. I can't wait to find my forever home where I can share my love. Until then, I'm enjoying every moment and every belly rub that comes my way. . Lolita is waiting with her foster family in Stockton. You like this dog...now what? ADOPTED 6/19/2024 Sponsor “Puppy”  by clicking here. Your name will appear on this page as Puppy’s sponsor and your donation will help pay for nutritious food and supplements and medical expenses. “Puppy” thanks you! Hi there! I'm an adorable, friendly puppy with quite a story. Some kind-hearted people saved me from the freeway, and now I’m safe and happy. For now they just call me “Puppy”. I absolutely love meeting new people and dogs. I've had some fun puppy play dates with my neighbor's dogs and have formed a great bond with the two small, adult dogs at my foster home. When we go on training walks, I'm always curious about other dogs, but I make sure to obey commands and keep my distance when asked. I've developed a strong connection with my foster mom and dad, and I'm always excited to greet our neighbors and their friends, no matter their age. Generally, I'm a quiet pup, and the only time you'll hear me bark is when I'm having a blast playing with my doggie friends or my humans. I'm well-behaved around new people and love being a proactive greeter without jumping up on anyone. My curiosity and trustworthiness shine through with everyone I meet, making me extremely comfortable around others. I adore playing with squeaky toys and chasing balls, and I currently live happily with both dogs and cats. I'm a healthy puppy and a good listener, always ready for new adventures and meeting new friends! I’ll be staying with the Good Sams until I find my forever family. ADOPTED 6/16/2024  Met kitty and ignored. Hopefully this will be Omar's last and final forever home. He's really a nice gentle giant. KJ ADOPTED 8/5/23  returned 06/24 (held by owners due to no open spots).due to they no longer have time for him. States they were working from home when they adopted him and now they both have to go to work and spend 8-10 hours away from the house HOWEVER, he's a teacher and school is out for the summer. Something just not fitting here. When evaluated it was noted that he had a quite large and unattended hotspot on his neck where the shock collar connectors were. If he had been shocked with this hot spot it would have been very painful!!  He also had a plastic pinch collar on and his regular collar. This is a very sweet, gentle boy that should not have ever been subjected to a shock or prong collar, especially with such an ugly hot spot. When questioned they stated they just noticed it but I find that very difficult to believe as it's quite obvious and was noticed immediately in the picture. Poor Omar. Glad he's out of there and on to a better life. This adopter also claims to be a trainer which is very disturbing. KJ Sponsor Omar by clicking here. Your name will appear on this page as Omar's sponsor and your donation will help pay for nutritious food and supplements and medical expenses. Omar thanks you! Hi! I’m Omar. I'm a big, friendly and social GSD boy.  I like everyone I meet and enjoy being out and about. I’m a happy guy and will easily approach for pets and attention (and treats, I like treats). I have pretty good house manners and in my last home I learned to do my business outside. I spent a good part of my day outside playing with my brother, Benny, but did sleep inside and I would very much like more of the inside life. I know how to use the dog door but may need a brush up on basic house rules. I want to please and I learn fast so this should be fun  I walk pretty well on leash and I met my first horse recently. I barked a few times but then just settle down while the humans chatted a bit. Mr. Horse walked on and I was just fine. I don’t pull much but can when I'm really excited. I'm not leash reactive but could use some more practice (hint hint). I know the basics, like sit, down and shake and I come when called. I really enjoy playing fetch and will bring the ball back and drop it. You can also easily remove it from my mouth. I take treats very gently and do not resource guard anything. I don't challenge fences but I do know how to flip a latch - I'm quite smart. I do love the water and will get in a fountain or wading pool and would love to try a lake, river or pool. I think I would be a good swimmer.  I am very affectionate and love being handled and loved on. I’m a great big teddy bear dog. I used to live with cats and have ignored them where I’m staying now.  I will make a great dog for a family that wants to take me places and open up my world. I ride well in the car and enjoy going places. I would love to do some hiking and meet some new friends. I hope you’d like to meet me. I’ll be waiting in Santa Rosa. You like this dog...now what? Sponsor Lexi by clicking here. Your name will appear on this page as Lexi's sponsor and your donation will help pay for nutritious food and supplements and medical expenses. Lexi thanks you! I'm Lexi, and I must say, I'm pretty proud of my looks. At four years old and about 70 pounds, I've got this gorgeous dark sable coat that's hard to miss. But it's not just my appearance that stands out; it's my personality too. I've been told I'm a real sweetheart. People say I'm the dog equivalent of a Mensa member, and honestly, I can't argue with that. I'm a thinker, always weighing my options and sometimes even outsmarting my foster mom. Curiosity? I've got it in spades. I'm confident and eager to help with whatever's going on, whether it's inside the house or outside in the yard. Oh, and did I mention I've got those expressive eyes? They tend to tell my story pretty well. Now, I've got a spirited playmate in my foster home, a two-year-old German shepherd who's a ball of energy. He's constantly tugging on ropes, chewing on stuff, and basically being a pest in the most playful way possible. But here's the thing – I love it! I match his play style, whether it's chasing, wrestling, or letting him have his way with my neck (apparently, that's his idea of fun). I am a wonderful playmate for other dogs! And I can't resist the occasional zoomies on my own. However, I'm not all go, go, go; I take breaks to regroup and head back to my foster mom for some back scratches before diving back into the action. As for cats, I'm curious about them, but I promise I have no bad intentions. I've been around a senior cat in my foster home, and I've been nothing but polite. It's just that I like to understand what makes them tick. Inside the house, I'm well-behaved and house-trained. My curious mind leads me to investigate every statue, yard art, or any odd object I come across. I even notice the radio and TV when I pass through the living room – I guess I'm just that observant. Meeting new people makes me really happy. Scratch my back or rub my belly, and you'll see me in seventh heaven. And did I mention I enjoy garden hose baths? Yep, I'm a dog with unique tastes! But here's the deal – I need regular mental stimulation. I'm whip-smart, and that brain of mine craves some exercise. So, if you're considering bringing me into your home, make sure you're experienced with us German shepherd dogs who, like me, sometimes have their own agenda. I bond quickly, and I thrive on attention. I'm not just a pretty face; I'm a loyal and intelligent companion waiting to be a wonderful addition to some lucky family. I'll be waiting with my foster family in Santa Rosa.  You like this dog...now what? Dolly thanks you! Dolly Parton and her three sisters – Reba McEntire, Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn - are four gorgeous young ladies who are looking for their fur-ever families!  The gals are about 3 ½ months old, and currently are around 30 pounds, with ginormous paws that they are still growing in to.  They are sweet, gentle, playful and active pups who are already pretty much potty trained and are ready to start working on their leash skills.  Dolly is a sable colored pup with a bubbly personality who loves daffodils and posing for photos!  Her ears are still trying to decide what they want to be when they grow up!  Puppies this young cannot be left alone more than a couple of hours per day. Please apply only if you have experience with German Shepherd Dogs, or similar breed, and you can be home with a puppy. You like this dog...now what?
