ADOPTED 7/18/25 FRANK IS A COURTESY POST FOR MARIN HUMANE SOCIETY - Please contact them directly if you are interested in meeting sweet Frank (link below). Frank is one goofy, love-able dog! Besides the obvious german shepherd, we think he may be part Great Pyrenees. Firstly, he looks like one--especially in person. More importantly, he can have the chill, laid-back demeanor of a Pyrenees. What we all really love about Frank is that he loves to be pet by all humans. Frank has never met a stranger he didn't like. He easily settles inbetween his joyful bouts of play. If he's with people, he's happy. He can be a bit rambunctious around small humans, so we think homes with kids over 12 would be the best fit. Frank is also good with other dogs but could be overwhelming to small dogs. Frank would greatly benefit from regular exercise to help increase his stamina and help keep him fit. If you're looking for a solid family dog, you must meet Frank! ***ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED*** Frank is a courtesy post for the Marin Humane Society. Hi, I’m Tyson - my friends call me Ty.  I’m a super handsome 8-year-old boy weighing in at a fit 75 lbs. You see, somehow I lost my last home and ended up in a orchard all by myself out in the middle of nowhere. I was lucky though, as some kind ladies found me and took me in (I was so thirsty I couldn't even get up to meet them). They gave me all the love and care I needed to bounce back and now I'm healthy and happy and ready to find my new home. I'm super friendly with everyone I meet and absolutely love traveling around with my friends. I'm not scared of going in stores, bikes, strollers, skateboards or anything like that. I'm a pretty easy going guy. I get along with other easy going dogs but the little ones are tougher for me as I have a little bit of a prey drive. No cats for me, too tempting. I have also been known to chase horses....yeah, I know, not really my best feature. I don't want to hurt them, it's just fun!   I love to ride in the car because it means new smellls and I love smelling the world!!!  If only you humans could smell what we dogs smell.. Luckily my friends let me do 'sniff walks' and I just have a blast. I might pull a little on the leash, but if you need it, I do well with my head halter or front clip harness. I’m pretty laid back when it comes to being handled, and I don’t mind a good brushing, but the feet are ticklish so I can only handle my nail trims about 1 foot at a time. Don't worry, I don't bite or anything like that, I just get wiggly and a little mouthy (gentle) when the tickling is too much. I was a very good boy at the vet of course - I know my manners.  My friends thought I ight be a swimmer but I let them know I'm a "wader" and love a good cool, but shallow pool of water to plunk in. I like getting out but I also like chilling with my friends and wouldn't mind hanging out with you at your favorite coffee shop or mountain top. I like to chase the ball but I'm not too keen on all the back and forth so bringing it back just to go get it again isn't really my thing. Spending time with my peeps is what I crave (and sniff walks!). I have some basics like sit and down and I take treats very gently so don't worry about giving me lots of treats ;-) I’m just a handsome, happy guy who’s ready for whatever adventure comes next. If you want to show me the world then just chill out and watch the sunset, I'm your guy. I'll be waiting to meet you in Santa Rosa.  You like this dog...now what? Please take 3-4 minutes and complete our application form at:  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/42179/generic.  Our adoption team will quickly contact you by phone or email (watch your spam please) to see if it's a match!.  If you are already approved to adopt, please contact your Adoption Counselor and they will help you set up a meeting.  You can also sponsor Tyson by clicking here. Adopted July 1, 2025 Hi! I’m Ramona, a German Shepherd girl with a soft heart and a playful spirit. I’ve got a gentle temperament and love spending time with other dogs—playtime is my favorite, especially if tennis balls are involved! I’m very friendly and social with people, and I come when called like a good girl. I ride quietly in the car and use my best manners wherever I go. I did great at the vet and everyone said I was such a sweetheart. I take treats with a soft mouth and I’m always polite—just part of my easygoing charm. I’m healthy, happy, and curious about the world. I haven’t lived with cats, but I’m gentle enough that I might do just fine with them. ADOPTED 6/25/2025 Hi! I’m Emmy, a sweet little black beauty with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. I’m a playful, happy girl who just wants to be close to you—seriously, snuggles are kind of my thing. I'm so affectionate. I did great in the car to my foster home and I'm playful with my foster GSD brother. I also happily meet new people. I don't mind a crate and sleep quietly through the night.  People say I’m super affiliative, which I think is a fancy way of saying I love making friends and being part of the fun. Whether we’re playing with toys, going for walks, or just cuddling on the couch, I’m all in. In true GSD fashion, I'm a fast learner. I’ve got a gentle soul and a loving nature, and I’m ready to give my whole heart to someone special. Could that be you? Puppies this age can not be left alone more than a couple of hours at a time. Adopted 6/19/25 Hi, I’m just a little pup with a big heart! I might be a bit shy at first, but once I feel safe, my sweet and gentle nature shines through. I absolutely love people and always seek out attention—if you sit down, don’t be surprised if I climb right into your lap for some snuggles!  I love to give kisses and if I can't get to your face, I will kiss the air !  I’m mellow and quiet, happy just being close by. I play wonderfully with other dogs of all ages and have great puppy manners. I’m also crate-trained, but at night I sleep loose in the house like a big kid—and guess what? I’m housetrained too! I'm really the goodest boy and I would love to have confident fur siblings that will teach me good manners as I love to learn. Meet Princess and Monkey. These 5 year old sisters would love to share their story.  Purpose bred and trained for detection work, both were ultimately placed as family members because they were too social and lacked the high drive needed for detection.  These beauties were athletic, playful, well loved and socialized dogs who found themselves in the shelter after their guardian had to move to assisted living.   As we all know when a caregiver gets sick dogs can have their worlds turned upside down. Princess and Monkey have gained too much weight from inactivity and do not understand why they aren't home. They are family pets who happen to be trained as well !  Reported to be good with people, dogs, babies and very social. These girls deserve to be in a loving home once again. Will you be the one these beauties share their lives with? They do have a trainer advocate who has known them most of their lives.  Please contact the shelter through the links provided or reach out to karen@bayareagsr.org  for more information. These girls are weighing heavily on our minds. They are bonded but to save their lives, they can be separated if only one can be saved. The shelter has a capacity of 700 animals and currently they are reaching 1000. Monkey and Princess are great dogs and their trainer who saw them grow up cannot take them in but know them very well. If you are interested in helping these sweethearts, you can reach out to us here and we can be the liaison. Their fate is currently unknown so we need to help them sooner rather than later. Please be that adopter. Or if you are willing to foster, please reach out to us. Learn more about Monkley here: https://www.laanimalservices.com/pet/a2196531 show less

Hi! I’m Bodhi—and if you’re looking for a super friendly, easygoing, all-around great companion, I might just be your guy. I love everyone. Seriously, people, other dogs (big or small), you name it—I’m happy to say hello. I walk like a pro on leash with zero reactivity, and I’m just as good in the house. Chill is kind of my vibe. I’m a big, handsome boy, weighing in at almost 70 pounds, but I’m a total gentleman. I take treats super gently, don’t guard my food or toys, and I’ve got a fantastic nose—especially when it comes to sniffing out snacks in your pocket. I like water, love lounging in the sunshine, and I’m always up for a car ride. I still have a little bit of that puppy energy, so sometimes I get mouthy when I’m overexcited or just really want your attention, but I’m working on it! I don’t have that typical husky urge to run off—I’d much rather hang out and enjoy life by your side. I haven’t met any cats yet, and squirrels are interesting, but I’m not much of a chaser. I’d do great with respectful kids, especially if the grown-ups help manage our playtime and my occasional mouthing. Bottom line? I’m a really good boy who’s ready to find my forever family. Delta is in need of a foster or adopter. If you can help or are interested in adopting her, please contact Stockton Animal Services. Here is the information the shelter says about her. 🐑OUR POOR LITTLE LAMB DELTA IS SOOO SOFT! 👒This girl is only about 8-months-old, she and her sisters were so frightened it was thought that they might be feral! It turns out that this little lady is just too gentle, lacks confidence and it seems she came from a loving if not capable home.💔 She is a BIG needy puppy, WATCH OUT!😃 She falls to the ground in front of your feet at the drop of a hat hoping you will notice her and be kind enough to let her snuggle in your lap. She is the same with her doggie friends as she is with people. She wants to be involved in the fun but drops to the ground when they run by or asks her to play, she lacks the confidence to join them, instead once they pass her by, she gets up and follows along after them. 🐾This sweetie is a big squishy marshmallow that is looking for guidance from her people. We are hoping she finds a home that can help build her confidence, give her a warm fuzzy bed to snuggle in and a loving family that will treat her like the princess she truly is!👑👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 💙Delta A356931-Listed as a 8-month-old, female white and black Great Pyrenees and shepherd mix. at an adorable 60 pounds!  🐶She is the same in playgroups  with other dogs as she is with people. She is submissive, will roll over and show her belly, and will follow the other dog’s lead. She is in playgroups with male and female gentle dogs might be more playful in the home. Sweet dogs need confidence building, another dog in the home could help.🐶 🫶👉To foster or adopt Delta, you can stop by the shelter during normal business hours, or email sasfoster@Stocktonca.gov. Travis is a neutered male, about 2 years old, weighs 69 pounds. He is primarily German Shepherd, but also has a little bit of Husky and Staffie in him too. He is currently located at Search Dog Foundation in Santa Paula, CA. This is a Courtesy Post for Search Dog Foundation. Travis is a hunky hunk and he has all the things we love about German Shepherds…he is handsome, loyal, intelligent, trainable, soft to touch, and very playful. His original family raised him from puppyhood but couldn’t take him with them when they had to move out of state. The staff at the shelter in Los Angeles noticed his love of toys in addition to his ‘good boy’ temperament. They referred him to us (Search Dog Foundation), and we snapped him right up. The Search Dog Foundation is a working dog training center in Santa Paula, CA and we train dogs for search and rescue work.  However, Travis didn’t pass our extremely stringent medical clearance (due to a spot of arthritis in one of his hips that showed up in his x-rays) so we are hoping to help him find his perfect person(s) who will enjoy and appreciate him as much as we do. He did get adopted out from us, but came back when the older couple realized he was a little’ too much’ dog for their home, although they had nothing but good things to say about him… He is a sweet and playful boy who will catch a ball, play chase, tug a little (if you want him to). Besides looking a little like a teddy bear, he also looks much bigger in his photos than he is in real life. He’s actually a nice size (66 lbs) with a beautiful coat and soft loving eyes. He has a nice off switch and once he has decided you are worth his time, he is very affectionate (isn’t that just SO shepherd…?) His only bugaboo? He will need some further work on his leash skills. Travis is a fine dog who will thrive in an active environment with a normal exercise routine, just nothing too high impact (jumping off rubble piles and such…) Calling all Shepherd lovers! Don’t let this one get away! Kids? Older would be better, he is a big dog and quite physical. Cats? We cat tested him, he will need a slow and supervised introduction, but we think he would be ok. There were 2 cats in his adoptive home and he had been in the process of getting used to them. No disasters to report. Dog: He definitely could use some socializing with other dogs. He’s a little rough around the edges in this area. If another dog was in the home, we would definitely suggest a long and slow introduction process. Travis will be waiting in Santa Paula CA.
