All the way from the Carribean! Meet Pineapple! Pineapple is located in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area. (See information below in the “Adoption Donation” section.) Pineapple is a special island girl! She and her sister Lime were rescued by Dr. Laura (one of our amazing professional partners) and brought to WA from St. Kitts, an island in the Caribbean. We aren’t sure how thrilled she was to trade the white sands of the islands for the white snows of Spokane! She loves cuddling in warm blankets and snuggling up to people in our colder clime. Pineapple (black collar) is a female, fawn colored puppy of the delightful breed Coconut Retriever. What’s a coconut retriever, you ask? The stray dog population of the islands consists of many breeds, and they have combined into what is affectionately called a coconut retriever. Since they embody many breeds, they come in all shapes, color and sizes but tend to be in the 35-40 lb. range when full grown. Even as a puppy, Pineapple displays the typical coconut retriever traits – smart, healthy, happy, loving, active, and very loyal. Our rescue has fostered many of these delightful St. Kitts pups, and they make wonderful family companions. She loves to play with her sister, is very food and praise motivated, and seems to prefer a lazier, more couch-oriented life than her more exuberant sister. Pineapple is quiet and slightly more reserved; a calmer household would fit her perfectly. Pineapple is picking up potty training quickly – she goes outside with minimal accidents and is being crate trained. She enjoys walks with typical puppy curiosity. She loves everything and dislikes nothing (except when her sister doesn’t want to play with her); Pineapple is a sweet, friendly, affectionate ball of fluff looking for the perfect home (and maybe a little beach time!). Pineapple spends her days getting lots of playtime and adventures with her foster family. She is growing into a healthy, active, affectionate pup ready for her perfect home. Want to meet Pineapple? He’s the Bionic Dog … well, kinda Meet Giorgio! Giorgio is located in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area. (See information below in the “Adoption Donation” section.) Giorgio may not be stronger or faster, but he is definitely better! Sweet, loving boy Giorgio is recovering beautifully from successful lateral suture surgery on his left knee in late December. An ideal patient, he quite enjoys taking it easy and resting while he heals. He will require surgery on his other knee, and Path of Hope Rescue will cover the cost for our amazing vet, Dr. Laura, to perform it. This requires an adopter local to the Spokane area or one willing to travel to Spokane for his second surgery. Our vet agrees there is no reason to keep this loving boy from his forever family in the meantime. Giorgio is a gentle and chill dog who likes to size up new people when he meets them. When you demonstrate you can pass muster, this extremely loyal and affectionate pup embraces you with all his heart. Giorgio’s favorite thing is to gaze straight into your eyes and give you lots of little licks! While he enjoys being a one-dog neighborhood watch and has an alert bark that will keep any intruder away (which stops with a “thank you” from his person), he is truly a gentle, lazy giant at heart. Giorgio is an easy-going, mellow dog who will hang next to you and be your constant buddy or join you for a gentle stroll to the coffee shop.  Lazing on the couch with you is his idea of the perfect day. Giorgio enjoys playing with other pups (not too boisterously while he recovers) and has appointed himself the Path of Hope ambassa-dog, greeting the new intake pups from Texas when they first arrive. Giorgio’s perfect home would be an adult family (kid chaos is hard for Giorgio but he does fine with cats) that he can use his Pyrenees nature to protect and join for leisurely walks around the block. Giorgio got the short end of the genetic stick, and even though his knees will be fixed, he will never be a high activity dog. But if you are looking for a sorta bionic companion on a daily stroll, who takes life as it comes, and will brighten your life with his funny, goofy, and loving personality, he is the perfect dog! A stout hearted Hufflepuff seeks a magical home! Meet Protego! Protego is located in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area. (See information below in the “Adoption Donation” section.) Affectionate, gentle, loyal, curious, and smart, Protego embodies the Hufflepuff ideals but is a “Hermione” in many ways. When he feels he can trust you, he accepts you wholeheartedly and makes you his friend for life. And boy can this guy make friends! Protego loves children, from babies on up, and he has a canine bestie in his foster home. Protego, coming from a litter of seven puppies, relishes company and would thrive in a home with kid and canine companions.  Like any first-year wizard, Protego is learning new skills daily. He mastered potty training quickly and alerts you when he needs to go outside. He has learned basic commands, and, with his smarts and love of treats and toys, he will be a candidate to learn more complicated spells (i.e., tricks) in his forever home. Protego walks well on his leash and is curious about the world around him. Though he would prefer to be with his humans all the time, crate training is part of his wizarding curriculum. He sleeps in his crate at night and is crated when left alone to prevent him from wandering the off limits Third Floor corridor or getting into mischief. Protego enjoys his food and toys and has a puppy’s exuberance for all the world presents to him, but he is probably most content being cuddled up on the couch with his people. While small now, Protego is as loyal and stouthearted as any Hufflepuff and will be a staunch and loving companion to his forever family. Want to meet Protego? Meet Monica Gallagher! Monica Gallagher is located in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area. (See information below in the "Adoption Donation" section.) Born in the middle of October 2023, Monica Gallagher came to us from a local rescue with her twelve siblings (the “Shameless Litter”). She started out as one of the larger puppies in her litter and she is about 10 lbs. With a pit bull mother and an unknown father, her future size will be hard to predict. Monica Gallagher is an adorable, roly-poly pup with soft chocolatey brown fur, white toes, and wise eyes. Monica loves the company of her people, and her idea of the perfect day is to spend it curled up on the couch with someone she adores. Monica is a low energy girl with a mellow temperament. She is thoughtful and the observer of the group; she likes to watch her siblings and their antics before jumping into the fray.  She is a thinker; you can see her weighing her options and carefully contemplating each decision before making it. Monica can be a vocal girl who isn’t afraid to speak her mind or let the other pups know when they are being too rambunctious. Monica Gallagher is progressing well with her training. She goes outside to potty, even in the cold weather we have been having. She is crate trained and is learning basic obedience commands (her fondness for treats really motivates her!).  Monica plays with other dogs but prefers to spend time with her humans; she’s not much for rambunctiousness. She has not shown much interest in the foster’s resident cat.  Monica Gallagher getting lots of playtime, love, and new adventures with her foster family. She is growing into a healthy, active, affectionate pup ready for her perfect forever home. Smart, good looking guy seeks dream home … and squeaky toys Meet Mountain Dew! Mountain Dew is located in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area. (See information below in the “Adoption Donation” section.) Ok, first things first. Mountain Dew is gorgeous! He is Insta ready with his black, brown, and white coat and stunning, mottled markings. His soft, long fur will be the envy of your friends and may require a vacuum upgrade. But looks aren’t everything, right? Fortunately, Mountain Dew also has brains and a great personality – he is the complete package. A high energy dog, he loves to take his toys for zoomies around the house. Running, walking, or playing fetch with his people makes him ecstatic. This pup lives to exercise! Mountain Dew relishes the company of dogs; he is always looking for another playmate to add to his gang. He even encourages the resident cat to join in his games. Mountain Dew likes to initiate and direct play but he’s a stickler for the rules. He knows he must drop his toys at the door before he goes outside to potty (though he immediately picks them up when he comes back inside). Mountain Dew loves kids, probably because he is a big kid himself. And those brains? Mountain Dew quickly mastered ringing the bell on the door to alert when he needs to go outside to potty. This smarty pup loves puzzles; he is adept at entertaining himself. But Mountain Dew is more than just an awesome workout partner. He loves with all his huge heart. A perfect end to the day for him is cuddling as close as he can to his friends (dogs and people) while watching the big game or the latest must-see episode. Mountain Dew does an amazing impression of a 50 lb. scarf as he intwines himself around you. He feels like every day is the bestest day ever in his whole life, and he cannot wait to wake up and do it all again with you. Mountain Dew dreams of a home full of play, more play, and cuddles with his people. Siblings of the kid, cat or dog kind would be a wonderful bonus. This guy is as beautiful on the inside as he is on the outside. Are you the one to make his dreams come true? Want to meet Mountain Dew? Fill out an inquiry form or visit our website! Meet Cryptic! Cryptic is located in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area. (See information below in the "Adoption Donation" section.) Born around January 2023, Cryptic is a young male American Staffordshire Terrier mix (best guess). Cryptic is the happiest boy, constantly wagging his tail, and so thrilled to have you in his life. He can’t wait to see you and hear about your day. Currently weighing about 45 lbs., he is friendly, engaging, obedient, and loves to give kisses. A higher energy pup good with kids, cats, and other dogs, Cryptic would love a home where he can enjoy daily walks, get lots of snuggles, and have tasks to complete, such as dog puzzles or stuffed kongs.  Cryptic recently had his first bath in his foster home, and he LOVED IT. They report he is the easiest dog ever to bathe. He hopped right into the tub and didn’t want to get out when the bath was over. He was just happy to be there getting treats and cuddles.  A smart boy, Cryptic enjoys training and has an impressive repertoire of commands, including “come”, “sit”, “stay”, “lay down”, “off”, “shake”, and “twirl”. He has also learned how to use the potty bells when he needs to go out. He is neutered, vaccinated, potty and crate trained, and walks well on a leash. He is treat motivated and adores making his people happy. While he loves playing with other dogs and cats, he would also thrive being the center of attention as an only dog. Cryptic does enjoy his downtime as well. He has no issues being left alone and does well in his crate. A heavy sleeper, he takes his snoozing very seriously. You can move him closer for cuddles, and he will sleepily snuggle into you.   A perfect day for Cryptic would include lots of cuddles, a car ride, napping upside down on the couch, playing with his fur siblings (dogs and cats), walks or hiking adventures with people he loves, and performing surgery on his stuffed animals. He hasn’t quite figured out how to stitch them back together, but he’s quite adept at getting them open!   Cryptic spends his days getting lots of playtime, love, and new adventures with his foster family. He is growing into a healthy, active, affectionate pup ready for his perfect forever home. Meet Spooky! Spooky is located in a foster home in Spokane, WA. Adopters may choose to travel to Spokane to pick up their dog or use our monthly transport option to your local area (see "adoption fees" section below for more details). Spooky was born on September 12, 2023, and currently weighs about 30 lbs. He is a German Shepherd/Labrador Retriever mixed breed puppy, and we expect him to be large as an adult. He and his family were transferred to Path of Hope from SCRAPs (the local animal shelter in Spokane) after Mama Mummy had her puppies in a garage. Spooky is a very sweet, goofy puppy who is learning to find his way in the world. In his young life, he has had multiple life changes from being with his mama and littermates to being on his own at a foster home. He is learning that when someone leaves the room, it does not mean that he is being abandoned. Friendly, loving, and affectionate, Spooky takes comfort from being with his person or people or the resident dogs in his foster home. A very cuddly pup, he loves to snuggle with his humans and will sneak in a nap on your lap when he gets the chance. As Spooky has new experiences like meeting cats, kids, people, and other dogs, he is growing in confidence. Exposure to new things with his human helps him to feel more secure in his world and in its permanence. He has the makings of a great adventure buddy. Spooky is crate training and has learned to run to his crate and wait patiently when he hears the dog bowls come out at feeding time. He sleeps well through the night, and he understands that he must wait to accept a treat, no matter how desperately he wants it. Spooky is progressing in his potty training. Spooky spends his days romping with other dogs in his foster home and getting lots of love, attention, and adventures. He is growing into a healthy, active, affectionate pup who will be an amazing addition to his perfect forever home. Born around March of 2023, Sharp is a male American Staffordshire Terrier mix (best guess). He is a large puppy, currently about 57 lbs., who arrived in Spokane, WA via Dog is My Copilot, after being at risk of euthanasia at a shelter in Texas. Sharp is friendly, playful, curious, caring, and good with cats, dogs, and kids he encounters. A higher energy pup, Sharp would love a family to take him on daily adventures and would make an ideal travel companion. The title of "best dog ever" suits Sharp, and he's all about spreading those good vibes as a gentle giant. Sharp is always up for playtime, especially with his favorite toys, and fetch is a favorite pastime.  Sharp loves attention and enjoys companionship; he is eager to please and enjoys being around people. Sharp is smart, food motivated, and knows how to sit like a pro for some tasty treats. He wants to be everyone’s friend, dog and people alike. Sharp would love a home with dog siblings. Whether it's a leisurely stroll in public or just hanging out, he's got his good manners down. Sure, Sharp might be a bit clumsy and wear his heart on his sleeve when he messes up, but that just adds to his charm. Although he is a ball of energy, Sharp sleeps very well after play time and happily enjoys a snuggle on the sofa. Sharp is adaptable to various lifestyles because of his well-mannered nature; he will fit seamlessly into different home types. Born in the middle of October 2023, Lip came to us from a local rescue with his siblings. He weighed about 15 lbs. at the start of the new year. With a pit bull mother and an unknown father, Lip’s future size will be hard to predict.  Lip is a friendly, charming pup with soft white fur and dark brown eyes that will melt your heart. But don’t be fooled by his gentle looks and puppy gaze; this smart guy knows what he wants and can be feisty. Lip will let you know his likes (cuddling with people of all ages) and his dislikes (baths and being cold). He walks daily, but he would rather be inside. Lip is not a big fan of this cold winter so far. He cannot wait to get back into the house and curl up with someone to get warm and cozy. Lip is playful and affectionate, and with his love of treats and toys, he picks up commands quickly. Despite his bold personality, Lip can also be a little timid and will thrive with a strong leader he can look up to as well as continued training. Lip will be a loyal and steadfast companion. Due to his age, Lip is just starting his potty training. He can be crated for several hours at a time, and he is learning his basic obedience commands. Lip loves his treats, which make great incentives for his training.  Lip spends his days romping and cuddling with his siblings and getting playtime, love, and new adventures with his foster family. He has an affectionate and confident personality so responds well to people and kids of all ages. He is also very curious so wants to explore and go on adventures. He likes to follow the humans to see what they are up to and will be the first to try new things. He loves attention and wants to be held or given cuddles on your lap. And if he thinks you are ignoring him or not giving him enough attention, he will let you know in his adorable and amusing way. If you’ve seen his facial expressions in his photos, you know exactly what we mean! Bowtie is a smart guy and needs mental and physical stimulation throughout the day. His ideal home would be somewhere with another dog, opportunities for dog playdates, and/or a stay at home parent so that he can get social activity and daily walks for his active brain. He also needs a family that is looking for lots of cuddles!  Bowtie will be neutered prior to adoption. At Path of Hope Rescue we strive to decrease the euthanasia rate of high-risk dogs in the southern United States by transporting pregnant dogs and puppies to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive homes. Meet Smalls! Smalls is located in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area. (See information below in the “Adoption Fee” section.) Born on May 7, 2023, Smalls was scheduled for euthanasia in a shelter in Texas at the end of November. With the help of our partner Austin Pets Alive, she was saved from that fate and transported to our rescue in Washington. An older puppy, she had her first experience with snow shortly after arriving in Spokane. Smalls displayed her adventurous spirit by exploring and playing in it right away. She has developed a fondness for sweaters to help her adapt to our colder climate. Smalls is a small pup, currently weighing 10 lbs., and being a Chihuahua (best guess), we expect her to be under 20 lbs. when fully grown. She has a sweet, loving, cuddly personality and gets along smashingly with everyone she meets. Smalls is one brave little girl, and she loves playing with the bigger resident dogs in her foster home. While more of a mellow energy level kind of girl, she can still hold her own against her larger companions and keeps up with them in games of chase in the backyard. Smalls has a silly streak, too – she doesn’t take herself too seriously. After a day of walks and romps, she likes nothing more than to curl up and have a good nap. Smalls is always up for warm snuggles and binge watching with her person. She’s more than content to just spend her days with someone she adores. Smalls loves kids, but she would also flourish in a home with an older family looking for a gentle, cuddly companion. Smalls is a smart little girl and quickly learned to use the dog door to go outside to potty. She enjoys car rides, understands some basic commands, and is quick to pick up new ones. Smalls sleeps through the night and quietly amuses herself in her crate for extended periods. This affectionate, gentle, curious, and friendly pup loves to give kisses and will make a loving addition to any home. Smalls spends her days getting lots of playtime, love, and new adventures with her foster family. Smalls is growing into a healthy, active, affectionate pup ready for her perfect forever home. Meet Carl Gallagher! Carl is located in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area. (See information below in the "Adoption Fee" section.) Born in the middle of October 2023, Carl came to us from a local rescue with his siblings. He weighed about 18 lbs. at the beginning of the year, though with a pit bull mother and an unknown father, his future size will be hard to predict. Carl is an adorable pup with brown fur, white feet, and a white muzzle. One of his ears has just started to stand up, and it gives him a sweet, quizzical look. He is independent, friendly, and vocal. Carl likes to be the center of attention, and he isn’t afraid to let you know if he thinks someone is hogging his spotlight. Carl is cuddly and affectionate and loves to snuggle with his siblings, dog mom, or hoomans. This little guy is a perfect “football watching on the couch” buddy. Carl is curious and smart and adaptable; he will thrive in an environment with all types of animals, families, and work situations.  Carl is progressing well with his training. He walks well on a leash – a big accomplishment at his age! He spends time nicely in his crate and has been left for several hours at a time. He knows “sit”, and his love of treats is a great motivator as he expands his command repertoire. He is old enough to begin potty training and will be working on that skill with his foster family. He isn’t a big fan of the car yet, but continued exposure to car rides will increase his confidence.  Carl spends his days romping and cuddling with his siblings and getting lots of playtime, love, and new adventures with his foster family. He is growing into a healthy, active, affectionate pup ready for his perfect forever home. Currently about 20 lbs., he is one of the larger puppies in the litter. Lumos is a warm brown color and stands out amongst his black coated siblings. Like any first-year wizard, he is learning new skills daily and will do anything for a treat. Lumos is playful, energetic, affectionate, curious, and friendly. This funny boy would play all day long if he could and dislikes it when the other dogs ignore his attempts to play with them. Lumos is as brave as any Gryffindor and willing to explore new places and meet new dogs and people. He fancies himself the Head Boy though he listens well to the older dogs when he gets too full of himself. Lumos plays and cuddles with the resident cats who will let him know when they have had enough of his antics. This energetic pup is curious and active, the type who will romp through the Third Floor corridor, chase among the trees of the Forbidden Forest, stare down a Basilisk or banish Dementors with his unabashed joy. His big, beautiful eyes will melt your heart. Lumos spends time nicely in his crate and can be left for several hours in it. He has just begun potty training. Meet Treat! Treat is located in a foster home in Spokane, WA. Adopters may choose to travel to Spokane to pick up their dog or use our monthly transport option to your local area (see "adoption fees" section below for more details). Treat was born on September 12, 2023, making her three months old. She is a German Shepherd/Labrador Retriever mixed breed puppy, and we expect her to be large as an adult. She and her family were transferred to Path of Hope from SCRAPs (the local animal shelter in Spokane) after Mama Mummy had her puppies in a garage. Treat is a very sweet puppy who is learning to find her way in the world. In her young life, she has had multiple life changes from being with her mama and littermates to being on her own at a foster home. She thrives on stability and routine. When joining her new family, it will take her a few days to settle into a new home environment and relax to show her full personality. Friendly, loving, and affectionate, Treat takes comfort from being with her person or people. She loves to snuggle on the couch or take a nap with her outstretched paw touching her human.  Treat is up for any new adventures with her human. She has met cats and other dogs, guests in the home, and people in the neighborhood. She loves her squeaky toys (the noisier, the better), running wildly through the backyard, chewing on her kongs and antlers, playing with the cat (who is teaching her good manners), and spending time with her person. Treat is still in the early stages of crate training and in learning to be alone. She does well being crated at night with only one potty break. During the day, though, she is still learning to be content and quiet when she is by herself and in the crate. Because she is not yet fully potty trained (she's about 80% of the way there!) and is still a young puppy, we encourage her adopters to continue crate training.  Treat needs a patient family, willing to understand that at her young age change is hard for her. With patience and consistency, Treat will settle in with her family and learn their new routine. A work from home or retired family would be a great match because she takes her confidence and comfort from being around people. At Path of Hope Rescue we strive to decrease the euthanasia rate of high-risk dogs in the southern United States by transporting pregnant dogs and puppies to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive homes. Sweet was born April 7, 2023, and is an older puppy. She is a black and white Lab/American Pit Bull Terrier mix (best guess). Currently 20 lbs., Sweet is a smaller puppy, and we estimate she will be around 40 lbs. when fully grown. Sweet came to us via our partner Austin Pets Alive who transported her from the Big Spring Shelter in Texas. Curious, loving, and social, Sweet is a lower energy pup who really wants to please her humans. She is very smart and figured out how to use the dog door her first day with her foster family. She has an affectionate and gentle nature and does well with cats, guests, and strangers she meets. She is learning how to play and be a puppy,  and she enjoys the company of other dogs in her foster home. Sweet is fully potty trained; she alerts when she needs to go outside. She sleeps well through the night and uses a crate but has been left out of it alone for extended periods of time without any issues. Sweet is training in basic obedience skills, and her love for treats (Beggin’ Strips are a favorite) and intelligence are an asset in this process. Meet Chow Mein! Chow Mein is located in a foster home in Spokane, WA. Adopters may choose to travel to Spokane to pick up their dog or use our monthly transport option to your local area (see "adoption fees" section below for more details). Born at the start of October 2023, Chow Mein is a female dachshund/chow mix that came to us from a local rescue with her mom and siblings. She is expected to be a medium dog at around 50 lbs when fully grown. She is an affectionate girl who would thrive in a home that can give her daily walks. Chow Mein is a friendly girl who loves to give kisses and play. She is hilariously clumsy, tripping over her feet while she plays, runs and pounces. Her favorite thing though is to curl up in a lap and get snuggles. Chow Mein enjoys playing and exploring. As she is still learning about the world around her, she may however need some reassurance about new things, as you’d expect with any puppy. She is very food motivated and looks forward to her meals! She prefers to be around other dogs and people. We think her ideal home would be with a family that works from home, has another dog, and/or can arrange dog playdates. She would be a perfect cuddle buddy for a family that is looking for a new side-kick to join their home. Chow Mein will be spayed prior to adoption. At Path of Hope Rescue we strive to decrease the euthanasia rate of high-risk dogs in the southern United States by transporting pregnant dogs and puppies to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive homes. Nox is a glossy black female lab/pointer mix (best guess) who came to our rescue from the Brazoria SPCA in Texas. Nox is the mama of the seven pups in our Harry Potter Spells litter. She is spayed, vaccinated, and potty trained.  She’s a little underweight since her pregnancy, and we estimate that Nox will be in the 40-60 lb. range when she returns to a healthy weight and is fully grown.  Cuddly, sweet, and loyal, mama Nox is a Hufflepuff who will stand by you through thick and thin. She always wants to be around a person and loves to cuddle, give kisses, and have her belly rubbed. Nox is a mellow, medium energy dog who amuses herself for long periods of time in her crate, sleeps soundly through the night, and like any new mom, enjoys her alone time without any issues. Nox is gentle and friendly, and she is good with other dogs, cats, guests in the home, and strangers she meets. Smart and food motivated, she quickly picks up basic commands. Nox is looking for a family she can love unconditionally and will give her lots of love in return. Nox is from rural Texas, and being in a city environment is all new. She is learning about her new surroundings and how to walk politely on a leash. This is a new skill for her, and she will need a human willing to be patient and set a calm, confident example for her on walks. Naomi came to a rescue we partner with in Texas with her seven pups about a month after their birth where they stayed until the pups were old enough to travel cross-country. Naomi and her pups recently arrived at our rescue in WA. Naomi has been the sweetest, happiest girl, and she likes to play with other dogs and go for walks (all new moms need a break from the kids!). Naomi loves to put her paws in her water bowl, no matter the temperature. Naomi had been living with a large pack of dogs ranging in size from 20 to 80 pounds prior to joining us in Spokane. She enjoyed the rambunctiousness of her playmates and got along with the resident cats as well. Naomi is a great traveler and is always game to go on a road trip. She is fully vaccinated and will be spayed shortly. At Path of Hope Rescue we strive to decrease the euthanasia rate of high-risk dogs in the southern United States by transporting pregnant dogs and puppies to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive homes. We are 100% foster based and rely on volunteers and fosters to help in our mission. Our goal is to make EVERY DOG. WANTED. Adoption fee: $450-$550. Please visit https://www.pathofhoperescue.com/ for more information about our organization and the adoption process. We will choose the most suitable home for each dog, not the first application received. If the dog you are applying for is adopted, we have hella good matchmakers that will help you find your perfect new four-legged family member. Since the dogs that come up the Path of Hope are rescues, not much is known about them. Therefore, breed and adult sizes are our best guesses, and we cannot guarantee this information is accurate. show less

Meet Alohomora! Alohomora is located in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area. (See information below in the “Adoption Fee” section.) Alohomora and her nearly identical siblings came to us from the Brazoria SPCA in Texas. This magical pup is a pointer mix (best guess) and should be in the 40-60 lb. range when fully grown. Like any first-year wizard, she is learning new skills daily. Food rewards motivate her to pick up commands quickly. Alohomora, like her siblings, is playful, smart, affectionate, and loving. She is a gentle pup who enjoys her cuddles and warm snuggles. She is a little shyer around people than her more boisterous littermates; Alohomora is getting exposure to people, cats, and other dogs and gaining confidence with new things. While small now, she is as loyal and stouthearted as any Hufflepuff and will be a staunch companion. Alohomora may be the Hermione of her siblings; she will let them know when they are too rough and mischievous. Alohomora spends time nicely in her crate and goes outside to potty with minimal accidents. She enjoys playing with her chew toys and would love a confident, older dog sibling to show her the ropes. Alohomora is vaccinated and will be spayed in December. Alohomora spends her days romping and cuddling with her numerous siblings and getting lots of playtime, love, and new adventures with her foster family. She is growing into a healthy, active, affectionate pup ready for her magical forever home.
