Born around July 4, 2023, Bernadette is a female pittie mix (best guess). She is a medium sized pup at about 10 lbs, and still growing. Having a lot of puppy energy, she will need to be kept active with other pet friends and people. Good with kids, dogs, and cats, she would fit well into a family. Bernadette is a loyal, smart, and spirited puppy! She loves to race and adventure with kids, followed by a great nap. Her ideal home would have a cozy fluffy blanket to sleep on and a big yard for lots of space to run and explore. Bernadette and littermates came to Path of Hope Rescue from the local shelter, SCRAPS. Microchipped, vaccinated, spayed, working on crate and potty training, sleeps well at night, and loves to train; this pup can’t wait to find a family of her own.  At Path of Hope Rescue we strive to decrease the euthanasia rate of high-risk dogs in the southern United States by transporting pregnant dogs and puppies to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive homes. We are 100% foster based and rely on volunteers and fosters to help in our mission. Our goal is to make EVERY DOG. WANTED. Adoption fee: $450-$550. Please visit https://www.pathofhoperescue.com/ for more information about our organization and the adoption process.  We will choose the most suitable home for each dog, not the first application received. If the dog you are applying for is adopted, we have hella good matchmakers that will help you find your perfect new four-legged family member. Since the dogs that come up the Path of Hope are rescues, not much is known about them. Therefore breed and adult sizes are our best guesses and we cannot guarantee this information is accurate.  Path of Hope Rescue is located and based out of Spokane, WA. Good with other dogs, kids, and strangers, he will fit into any family. Kevin has bonded quickly to his foster mom and loves to be near his people, laying on their chest while watching tv or around their heads while sleeping. His big, goofy smile is always present and can make anyone happy.   He arrived in Spokane, WA via Dog is My Copilot, after being at risk of euthanasia at a shelter in Texas.  Vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, working on crate and potty training, sleeps most of the night, and can be left alone for up to 3 hours, he is doing all the work to be a great dog.  At Path of Hope Rescue we strive to decrease the euthanasia rate of high-risk dogs in the southern United States by transporting pregnant dogs and puppies to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive homes. Born approximately June 1, 2023, Righty Tighty is a male rat terrier mixed breed puppy. He currently weighs 10 pounds and we expect him to be under 20 pounds as an adult. He is energetic, spunky, and happy. He is independent and likes a good adventure and will make sure you don’t spend too much time on your couch when you could be out enjoying life. As an active puppy, he will need plenty of exercise daily. His favorite activities are running, swimming, playing with the other dogs, finding great sticks, and digging. He will make an excellent lake/beach/river adventure companion.  Righty Tighty is treat motivated. He is doing well at potty training and crate training. He sleeps through the night in his crate. The actual process of going into the crate isn’t his favorite thing in the world, but he’s good once he is in there. Born on 2/8/2023, Joe Jonas is a male shepherd mix (best guess). He is a medium to large puppy currently 32 lbs, expected to be 60 or more lbs when fully grown. He is good with cats, dogs, and kids of all ages. He is a lower energy dog that loves to hang out with people all day. He. Has. The. Best. Ears. Ever. And the most soulful, kind eyes. Ideally, his new home would have another, older dog to show him how to be confident. He enjoyed playing and wrestling with his former foster dogs and is now learning how to be an only pup. He has a healthy respect for cats, and he tends to steer clear of the unpredictable creatures. His gentle and polite demeanor makes him great with kids of all ages. He is a bit slow to warm up and feel comfortable but when he is out of his shell, he tends to bond tightly with his humans. Cuddles on the couch are his favorite but he will lay at your feet when you are working just to be close to people. His recent discovery of sticks has been life changing! He enjoys searching the backyard for the perfect one.   He arrived in Spokane, WA via Dog is My Copilot, after being at risk of euthanasia at a shelter in Texas.  Vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, is doing very well on potty training, working on crate training, sleeps all night, rides well in a car, and walks great on a leash. Fauna is a female Australian Kelpie Husky mix (best guess). She is a medium sized dog at around 40 lbs, fully grown. Good with kids, cats, and strangers, this girl would do great in a family. She is a medium-high energy dog who will enjoy getting out of the house daily. Fauna came to us from Pecos, Texas via our "Dog is My Co-Pilot" flight after being saved from the 7/21/23 euthanasia list.  Fauna is loyal, docile, and sweet natured. She enjoys being around a close group of dog friends. She loves being outside and enjoys romping and playing in the yard.  While she is crate trained she prefers to be where the action is, staying close by to other dogs and humans. When it comes to playing, she doesn't see the point in playing fetch. After all, if you threw away the ball, you must not want it. Right?!? So, if you're not fond of throwing a ball or tossing a frisbee for hours, Fauna is your girl. Microchipped, vaccinated, crate-trained, mostly sleeps through the night, can be left alone, is great on a leash, easily trained, and is food motivated.  At Path of Hope Rescue we strive to decrease the euthanasia rate of high-risk dogs in the southern United States by transporting pregnant dogs and puppies to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive homes. She is a medium-low energy dog who wouldn’t mind being a couch potato, but should probably get out now and then.  Princess Aurora came to us from Pecos, Texas via our "Dog is My Co-Pilot" flight after being saved from the 7/21/23 euthanasia list.  We’re still getting to know Princess Aurora’s personality but so far we have learned that she is kind, gentle, and happy. She enjoys playing with her foster dog and cat siblings. If you’re looking for a lap dog, she may not be the best fit but she loves kisses! While she is crate trained she prefers to be where the action is, staying close by to other dogs and humans. It takes her a bit to warm up as she must feel she can trust you, but once she does she has the happiest wiggle-butt.  Microchipped, vaccinated, crate-trained, potty-trained, sleeps through the night, can be left alone, and does okay on a leash. Adopters may choose to travel to Spokane to pick up their dog or use our monthly transport option to your local area for an additional delivery surcharge of $250. show less

Born June 16, 2023, Kale is a female Blue Lacy (per former owner). She will be a medium sized pup, about 30-50 lbs when fully grown. She currently weighs 7 lbs.  Kale and her relatives came to Path of Hope Rescue from the local shelter, SCRAPS, after being surrendered by her owners. Her parents were a breeding pair of pups and, when things got a little out of control, the owners were overwhelmed by the situation they found themselves in. Since she is new to the rescue, we are still getting to know her personality and will update when we know more. Microchipped, soon to be spayed, vaccinated, this dog is going to be a great addition to some lucky family.  At Path of Hope Rescue we strive to decrease the euthanasia rate of high-risk dogs in the southern United States by transporting pregnant dogs and puppies to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive homes. Born around November 2022, Sinatra is a female pittie, cattle dog, Dutch shepherd mix (sibling DNA results shown above). She is a medium sized puppy and is expected to be around 40 lbs when fully grown. Great with chickens, kids of all ages and other dogs; this high energy girl would love an active home to call her own. She's a little bashful around men at first but warms up with time.  This poor girl spent her first several weeks of life living under an abandoned house in Texas with her mom and siblings. By the time they were rescued and traveled up the Path of Hope, some of the pups were very sick. Sadly, we had to say goodbye to two of her littermates. Understandably, she is a bit timid and easily frightened by loud noises, so she will need a patient home until she feels comfortable. Once she is settled in, she becomes playful and cuddly. Spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, crate trained, sleeps all night, is food motivated, and fully potty trained, this girl is the whole package. Born on May 23, 2023, Bernard is a male German Shepherd mix. He is a medium sized puppy, expected to be around 40 lbs when fully grown. He is a playful pup that looks like he will be medium energy, and will enjoy living in an active home where he can have daily exercise and play.  Bernard is part of the Timeless litter, coming to Path of Hope by way of our new foster sharing program with SCRAPS. Bernard is now old enough to find his forever home.  We’re still getting to know Bernard’s personality but so far we have learned that he is dream pup. At his foster’s home he is quiet all night in his crate, has learned the doggie door, comes when called, is learning to be on the leash, and is starting to sit for treats. He enjoys playing hard and sleeping hard.  Microchipped, vaccinated, and is working on basic training (potty, leash, crate).  At Path of Hope Rescue we strive to decrease the euthanasia rate of high-risk dogs in the southern United States by transporting pregnant dogs and puppies to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive homes. Born around March 2023, Hudson is a male Cattle Dog/Shepherd/Pit/Boxer mix (according to sibling DNA). He is a medium sized pup at around 34 lbs and still growing. He gets on well with everyone - adults, kiddos and other dogs. Being a medium energy so would thrive with an active family that can take him for daily walks around the neighborhood or on trails.  Hudson was part of the Rivers Litter that came to Path of Hope Rescue via Higher Ground Animal Sanctuary, another rescue in Washington, who asked us if we could help these adorable pups and Mama. By saying yes, it helped  free up more space in their program so they can help save more dogs.   Hudson enjoys belly rubs, playtime with other dogs, squeaking on his toys, chasing balls or sticks, and cuddling on the sofa in the evening. He has a serious case of FOMO and would like to be the center or attention. Car rides are not his favorite as they make him sick, every time.  Is crate trained, potty trained, can be left alone, and sleeps through the night. In short, he is a perfect dog who is ready to meet his furever family! At Path of Hope Rescue we strive to decrease the euthanasia rate of high-risk dogs in the southern United States by transporting pregnant dogs and puppies to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive homes. Born in November 2022, Home Skillet (Homey for short!) is a male Shepherd/Doberman (best guess). He is a large sized dog at around 50 lbs, fully grown. He loves playing with other dogs and enjoys hanging out with humans once he gets to know them. While he is great at snuggling with kids, he can get a bit boisterous during playtime so we think he will do best in a calm, adult-only environment. He is a high energy dog who will enjoy daily walks. Homey came to us from our "Dog is My Co-Pilot" flight. He was flown from Texas to Spokane back in April. Home Skillet is a very affectionate guy, described by his foster as a “cuddle bug once he gets to know you.” While can be timid around new things he adapts well, taking things in his stride, so would be a good adventure buddy. He has even gone to the lake and been on a boat with his foster family!  He has been doing well in his training, doing well in his crate and potty training. Neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, sleeps through the night, can be left alone, food motivated. At Path of Hope Rescue we strive to decrease the euthanasia rate of high-risk dogs in the southern United States by transporting pregnant dogs and puppies to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive homes. Merryweather is a female Australian Kelpie Husky mix (best guess). She is a stunning medium sized dog at around 28 lbs, close to fully grown. Good with dogs and strangers. She is a medium-high energy dog who will enjoy getting out of the house daily. YES, she has one blue and one brown eye.  Merryweather came to us from Pecos, Texas via our "Dog is My Co-Pilot" flight after being saved from the 7/21/23 euthanasia list.  We’re still getting to know Merryweather’s personality but so far we have learned that she is lovable, eager, and smart. She enjoys zooming around other dogs, making them dizzy. Her favorite past-times include laying on your legs and looking deep into your eyes. While she is crate trained she prefers to be where the action is, staying close by to other dogs and humans. Toys, bones, and car rides are a must for this sweet girl!  Microchipped, vaccinated, crate-trained, almost fully potty-trained, sleeps through the night, can be left alone, does okay on a leash, easily trained, and is food motivated.  At Path of Hope Rescue we strive to decrease the euthanasia rate of high-risk dogs in the southern United States by transporting pregnant dogs and puppies to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive homes. Prince Phillip is a male Husky mix (best guess). He is a medium sized puppy at about 20 lbs. Per his foster, Phillip is easy-going and the first night in his crate he was quiet, no whining or barking. Food motivated and appears to be mostly potty trained, this guy has a great foundation. So far, he is good with other dogs and dog savvy cats as well as all the people he has met.  He traveled to Spokane from Pecos, Texas via Dog is My CoPilot, Inc.
