A family guy who delights in the outdoors! Meet Cannon! Cannon is in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area. (See information below in the “Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue” section.) Are you seeking a furry friend as stunning and rugged as the beaches of the coastline of Oregon? Look no further than Cannon, a joyful pup with a sense of adventure and tons of personality. This sweet, playful, and curious black German shepherd mix cannot wait to make you his new bestie!  Cannon, along with his four siblings, journeyed cross country from Texas to our rescue in Spokane. Born in February, Cannon is on the smaller side, and this little guy joys in the world around him. He loves to play ball and is super silly, splashing in his water bowl and running around carrying his food dish after he finishes his meals. Cannon has discovered ice and enjoys chewing on it to cool off during these hot summer days.  He cannot get enough scratches and affection from his people; he thinks your attention is the best thing ever! Cannon does very well with other dogs and children (including young ones under 2); he thinks everyone he meets is already his friend. Any opportunity to get outside and sniff and engage his brain makes him extremely happy. Cannon is an active, friendly, affectionate pup ready to explore the outdoors and indoors with equal zest and curiosity. Want to take a sunset walk on the beach or snuggle up to watch movies on the couch? Either one makes him deliriously happy if you are by his side! Cannon is working on his basic skills. He is fully crate trained and just about potty trained. Cannon walks well on a leash, sleeps through the night, and will be starting obedience shortly.  Cannon’s ideal home? He would love a home with outdoor opportunities like walks or fetch games in the backyard, food (he is a growing boy, after all), and people to love who will love him in return and ensure he learns the skills that will make him a well-balanced and happy dog. Kids would be a bonus as Cannon delights in spending time with them. Easy going Cannon is ready for whatever life has in store for him, and he hopes that you will be part of it.  Want to meet Cannon? This MacGuffin seeks your hand (and heart!) Meet MacGuffin! MacGuffin is in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area (see information below in the “Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue” section). The wisps have led MacGuffin and his siblings of the Brave litter from a Texas shelter to our rescue in Spokane where they are seeking their forever homes. We are currently accepting adoption applications for MacGuffin. MacGuffin will be old enough for adoption on or about August 8, 2024, and will be neutered before going to live with his adopter.   Curious and sweet, MacGuffin is an active male puppy with short brown and white fur and adorable folds over his eyes that make him look like he is always pondering something important. We believe he is a corgi/shepherd mix who will be a medium size dog when fully grown. MacGuffin is the most independent of his siblings, and though he loves being in the middle of whatever they are doing, he is also content to entertain himself or find a comfy spot on his own for a nice nap. MacGuffin is a cuddler; he loves to snuggle in close so that he is touching you. He loves to play (chew toys are his favorite) and cannot get enough of tug of war. He is a smart, inquisitive puppy perfectly suited for daily physical and mental activities. While MacGuffin enjoys exploring new things, this quiet and funny puppy seems happiest when he is close to his human.   Born on June 11, 2024, MacGuffin is a very young puppy. He has started potty training and still sleeps in a puppy pile in a pen with his siblings; he will begin leash, crate, and obedience training as soon as he is old enough to do so.  MacGuffin’s ideal home? A young puppy, he loves everyone and everything. His ideal home would have people to love, who will love him in return and ensure he learns the skills that will make him a happy and well-rounded dog. Looking to change your fate? Meet Merida! Merida is in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area (see information below in the “Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue” section). You only have to be brave enough to see it.” – Merida, Brave movie. Sweet, cuddly, and quiet, little Merida is the smallest puppy in her litter. She isn’t as brave and adventurous as her moreboisterous siblings (yet!) and prefers to watch as they venture out to explore their new environs. Merida is learning to play, and she likes tug of war games, but she really loves cuddling and snuggling with people (soft blankets to nestle into make her very happy). She’s a lower energy pup with an appreciation for comfortable spots from which to watch the antics of her siblings, safe from their rough romping. This gentle little girl could be the perfect companion to brighten your life and bring love into your home.  Born on June 11, 2024, Merida is a very young puppy. This pup is seriously a dream! Meet Navy! Navy is in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area (see information below in the “Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue” section). Ok, this guy is just cuteness overload. From his adorable butterscotch markings to his way of bouncing everywhere he goes, Navy is a charming puppy ready to melt your heart. Born in late December of 2023, Navy is an older pointer/greyhound mix puppy, and we estimate he will be a medium size dog when fully grown. He traveled by plane from an overcrowded shelter in Texas where he was scheduled for euthanasia to Washington, and this joyful pup is eager to make the most of his second chance. Funny, smart, and loving, Navy is an active, friendly puppy who delights in everything, whether it is toys, people, or learning new skills. Toys are a big hit with this little guy; he loves to gather them up and arrange them up on his dog bed. Navy tested out the doggy pool at his foster’s and has decided it is the perfect way to cool off on these hot summer days (and way better than getting a bath at the groomer’s!). Fetching is a favorite pastime, and he has learned to sit and wait for his ball to be thrown. Navy plays well with dogs and children (though his puppy exuberance might be best suited for older children), and we will let you know the results once he has been cat tested. After romping, Navy is all about the snuggles and enjoys chilling with people. This charming pup will be both your outdoor buddy and your lazy day pal. Navy already has some awesome skills in place. He is fully crate trained, sleeps through the night, and is potty trained. He has begun leash training and learning his basic obedience commands. Navy’s ideal home? This delightful pup seeks a loving, active home with people (and maybe a canine sibling) to ensure that he will learn the skills to make him a happy and well-rounded dog.People taking him for walks and playing games of fetch would make him deliriously happy. Does this sound like your home?  Want to meet Navy? About Path of Hope Rescue At Path of Hope Rescue, our goal is to make EVERY DOG. WANTED. Our two employees and army of volunteers focus on transporting pregnant dogs and puppies from Texas, the number one kill state in America. The dogs we rescue are in poor living conditions and on euthanasia lists in shelters that are inundated with unwanted animals. We want to give these dogs a chance and bring them to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive, loving homes.   We are 100% foster based; our dogs are fostered in loving homes where they are house and crate trained and learn basic obedience and leash skills. Dogs experience socialization opportunities with people, places, and other animals, and they receive the attention required to become well-rounded, healthy, and affectionate dogs that they would not otherwise receive in a shelter environment. Our commitment does not end when the dog is adopted. Practically the Perfect Puppy! Meet Gak! Gak is in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area (see information below in the “Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue” section).    Named after the stretchy slime toy from the 90s, sweet Gak is the puppy you can’t wait to get your hands on! From his little white paws to the adorable blaze on his face, he is every bit the charmer and best friend. And that big, goofy grin of his? Irresistible!    Curious and playful, Gak is enchanted by new things, whether it is a toy, a person, or bare toes. The world is still so new to him, and exploring is a favorite pastime. Gak recently took a field trip with canine friends to the Spokane River. While he has waded in a pool before, this was his first experience with running water, and he enjoyed splashing and the sensation of smooth rock under his paws. It was the perfect way to cool off on a hot summer day! When he is not adventuring in the great outdoors, Gak’s favorite activities are snuggling with you, chasing his tail, and playing with a ball.    Friendly and affectionate, Gak loves to give kisses and receive your pets. And belly rubs? Gak adores belly rubs and thanks you profusely with sweet puppy kisses. He romps with other dogs and has good manners around the cats; he does not push when they are not interested in playing with him.  Gak offers endless love and loyalty to his forever family. He'll stick by your side through thick and thin, ready to share in all of life's ups and downs. Gak is practically the perfect puppy.   Born on May 2, 2024, Gak is a young puppy who is learning new skills. He is progressing well through potty training and can be left in his crate for several hours at a time. Gak has started leash and obedience training as well. He loves treats which will help him master new behaviors quickly. Vaccinated and neutered, Gak is ready to go home with an adopter.  Gak’s ideal home? He loves everyone and everything, especially a good play session followed by cuddles on the couch.  His ideal home would have people to love, who will love him in return and ensure he learns the skills that will make him a happy and well-rounded dog. Some neat toys to play with, daily walks, and adventures would be wonderful. And lots of attention! Does this sound like your home?  Want to meet Gak? An adventure buddy for the PNW! Meet Angel! Angel is located in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area (see information below in the Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue section). “Fur-st Impressions” are very important! Schedule a meet and greet with Angel before applying to see if she is the perfect fit for your family by emailing us at Fur-stImpressions@pathofhoperescue.com.  A completed Adoption Application will be required after the meet and greet to move forward with Angel’s adoption. Angel has been available for months, and potential adopters often have concerns about adult rescue dogs having behavior issues or being poorly socialized. Some dogs just get overlooked and the longer a dog is available, the more people start wondering, “what is wrong with this dog?” We understand this is a concern, and that is why we assign every applicant their own personal Matchmaker to ensure this dog is right for your family. Angel embodies her name. This sweet natured, goofy, loving pup was made for companionship and will bring joy into your life. She is extremely loyal to her person and cherishes cuddles. And if you want a pal for adventuring outdoors, Angel is your gal! Angel is up for any adventure; a good run, water sports, a family hike, camping, chilling in the backyard on a sunny day, a rainy day spent watching Netflix; you name it, she’s game.  Curious and active, Angel loves car rides, walks where she can sniff and engage her brain, and sun baths in the warm afternoons (she’s a rescue from Texas, so she relishes the heat).  Funny Angel has ears with minds of their own that flap adorably when she runs. She loves to end her day with some toys or food puzzles and snuggles with her favorite people. An older dog, Angel has many skills in place already. She is crate trained and house trained, walks well on her leash, and she sleeps through the night. Angel has her obedience commands nailed. She loves treats and food puzzles. Angel adores older kids but would prefer to be a solo pet companion. Angel’s ideal home?  One with people to love who love her and share in her enjoyment of being active in the outdoors. Someone to ensure she practices the skills that make her a well-rounded and happy dog. Lots of cuddles and pets, spots for sun bathing, and toys. Some older kids to share her life would be delightful, too. Affectionate and loyal, Angel has a lot of love to give and tons of joy to bring into your life. If you are looking for the perfect canine pal to explore the PNW with then curl up for some warm cuddles, Angel is your girl! Angel is a lovable sweetheart with a few quirks that have benefited from training.  We will waive the $450 minimum adoption donation for adopters who agree to attend training with one of our Preferred Training Partners to learn how to set her up for success in her new home. Your Sunshine on a Cloudy Day!   Meet Nantucket! Nantucket is in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area. (See information below in the “Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue” section.). Nantucket, along with his four siblings, journeyed cross country from Texas to our rescue in Spokane. Are you seeking a furry friend who will warm your heart on cloudy days? Look no further than Nantucket, an exuberant spirit who will brighten the darkest of winter days! Affectionate and playful, adorable Nantucket wins everyone over with his floppy ears, his tiny swirl of white fur on his chest, and his exuberant wiggles. Nantucket has two speeds: let’s play and let’s snuggle. He enjoys games with his people or romping with other dogs in the foster home. Nantucket loves cuddles and kisses; he is friendly and does well with kids and anyone willing to sit still long enough to pet him. Nantucket is a loving pup who will be your partner through thick and thin. A stroll on the beach or a hike in the rain? He is up for it! And if you want to watch some football on the couch or curl up with a delightful book, he’s down for that as well. With the warmer weather, Nantucket has discovered a new favorite thing; he loves swimming in the wading pool. Still a young puppy, Nantucket is working on his basic skills. Brave and confident, he sleeps through the night, is potty trained, and will spend several hours at a time in his crate. A quick learner, Nantucket is very food motivated and responds well to corrections, and he will start on obedience and leash skills shortly. Nantucket’s ideal home? Yours, of course! He likes everything and wants to share in your world. His wish list is simple; walks or fetch games in the backyard, toys for playing, lots of cuddles and snuggles, and people to love who will love him in return and ensure he learns the skills that will make him a well-balanced and happy dog. Loving and friendly, Nantucket has a playful nature and a heart as large as the sea. He is ready for his new adventure and hopes you will be a part of it. Want to meet Nantucket? Look out world – here comes adorable Koosh! Meet Koosh! Koosh is in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area (see information below in the “Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue” section). Koosh will be neutered on July 25, and he will be able to go home with an adopter a few days after that. Koosh is adorable. I mean, how can you resist that charming grin of his? And his zest for life is infectious. This fun-loving little guy is curious and energetic; he gets the cutest puppy zoomies.  Koosh relishes being the center of attention; he needs to know what is going on and how to be a part of it. He thrives on new adventures and exploring (he was the first pup of his litter to figure out how to climb out of the whelping box). Koosh loves to chew on sticks and gets along fantastically with other dogs of any size. He will dive into a ball pit and chase after a ball or toy if you throw it (he will be a star fetcher or frisbee catcher). He loves playing in the grass; he delights in flopping down and belly crawling through it. Koosh thrives on the company of kids and adults, and he is very loyal to his person, wanting nothing more than to shower you with kisses and cuddles. Funny, friendly, confident, and loving, this adorable boy is up for whatever you have planned, whether an explore, a cuddle on the couch, or some play time. The world is so exciting, and Koosh wants to discover everything it has to offer. Being a smart puppy who is food motivated, Koosh picks up skills quickly. He is rapidly progressing through his potty training, and he only wakes once during the night to go outside. He is practicing sit, down, and wait, and he is learning not to jump on people. Koosh is well behaved during his nail trims, and his foster is getting him desensitized to a Dremel tool as well. Koosh watches the resident cat but doesn’t chase it; he would do well in a home with a dog-savvy cat. He sleeps in his crate at night, though he would rather be with his people. Koosh enjoys enrichment activities like snuffle mats and lick mats that engage both his brain and his stomach! Koosh’s ideal home? A young puppy, he loves everyone and everything.  Koosh’s ideal home would have people to love, who will love him in return and ensure he learns the skills that will make him a happy and well-rounded dog. Some neat toys to play with and daily walks and adventures would be awesome.  Human, canine, and feline siblings would be a bonus, but Koosh would be fine as your sole companion, too. Does this sound like your home? Don't miss out on the chance to add a touch of whimsy and a whole lot of love to your life. Adopt Koosh and let the adventures begin! Want to meet Koosh? Sweetest. Boy. Ever. Meet Romaine! Romaine is in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area (see information below in the "Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue” section). “Fur-st Impressions” are very important! Schedule a meet and greet with Romaine before applying to see if he is the perfect fit for your family by emailing us at Fur-stImpressions@pathofhoperescue.com.  A completed Adoption Application will be required after the meet and greet to move forward with Romaine’s adoption. Romaine has been available for months, and potential adopters often have concerns about adult rescue dogs having behavior issues or being poorly socialized. Some dogs just get overlooked and the longer a dog is available, the more people start wondering, “what is wrong with this dog?” We understand this is a concern, and that is why we assign every applicant their own personal Matchmaker to ensure this dog is right for your family. Romaine is just the sweetest boy ever.  Loving and playful, Romaine is a purebred Blue Lacy, and he embodies the traits of one. Bred for hunting hogs, Blue Lacy dogs are intelligent, alert, affectionate, and active, and those words describe Romaine perfectly. He simply wants to love you and play. He plays very well with other dogs, though with his instinct to chase, he would do best in a home with a dog-wise cat or no felines.  Romaine picks up on the energy of the people around him, and when things get a little too hyped up or chaotic, he does as well. He is learning to channel that extra energy and consistency in showing him the appropriate way to do that will be key for his success.  Romaine would prefer a home with older kids (10 and up). Romaine is smart, a goofball, and a cuddly boy. Romaine's favorite activities include playing ball, walking with his people (he walks extremely well on a slip lead leash), and snuggling. He enjoys toy puzzles (like slow feeders) and interactive toys. Friendly and affectionate, Romaine is house and crate trained, though he’d rather be with you. He has learned his basic obedience commands, and since he equates learning with treats (an absolute favorite thing), Romaine has the potential to expand his behavior repertoire to include more tricks and agility training. Romaine’s ideal home? Maybe yours! A home where he would get walks and games of fetch as well as snuggles with people he loves. Someone to ensure he practices the skills that make him a well-rounded and happy dog. Canine companions and older kids to share his world would be a bonus. Romaine is a lovable sweetheart with a few quirks that have benefitted from training.  We will waive the $450 minimum adoption donation for adopters who agree to attend training with one of our Preferred Training Partners to learn how to set him up for success in his new home. What is Path of Hope’s Adoption Process? Our adoption process takes on average 7-10 days. Begin by completing the online application. EVERY application receives an email response from us (check your spam folder!). Your personal Matchmaker will contact you, help you find your perfect pup match, and guide you through the process. Meet your potential pup at the home of the foster family. (The process may differ slightly for long distance adopters.) Bring your potential pup home for a no commitment In Home Trial. In Home Trials are a minimum of (2) nights for a puppy and one week for an adult. Your Matchmaker will check in with you during this time. Sign the adoption paperwork and adopt your new family member! Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue Our adoption process sets us apart. We specialize in learning about you and your family to find just the right fit for you. Our Matchmakers are not only good at what they do; they will also guide you through the entire process. Our Minimum Adoption Donation is $550 for puppies under a year and $450 for dogs one year and older. We are a WA state registered non-profit and rely heavily on adoption donations to cover the expenses associated with saving lives. Our dogs are spayed/neutered prior to adoption; microchipped with free lifetime registration; and up to date on DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines (when age appropriate) and deworming and heartworm treatment/prevention. Adopters can also earn a $100 training refund if they attend (6) hours of any in person training course. Long Distance adopters (one hour or more from Spokane) may choose to travel to Spokane to pick up their dog or use our monthly transport option, Puppy Delivery Express, for an additional delivery donation of $250.  Puppy Delivery Express currently delivers dogs throughout Washington and to parts of Montana, Idaho, and Oregon. Your new cuddly companion in life’s adventures! Meet Beanie Baby, from our 90s Nostalgia litter! Beanie Baby is in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area (see information below in the “Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue” section). Born May 2, 2024, young puppy Beanie Baby is the soft, squishy friend you've been searching for (look at those adorable rolls on his face!).  Sweet and gentle, Beanie Baby loves cuddling with people, napping next to you, or settling into his soft blanket for a snooze. He is a typical young puppy who plays hard and sleeps hard. Beanie Baby enjoys playing with and chewing on his toys with equal gusto, and he is also the first to nap or lie down and watch the activities going on around him. Beanie Baby is confident and willing to try new things; he quickly figured out the dog door and loves exploring his environment. He will run out to the grass and throw himself down, then roll contentedly. This mellow, lower energy pup is also happy to be with people and just chill. Beanie Baby plays well with his canine siblings and enjoys children of all ages. Beanie Baby may be a young puppy, but he is smart, eager, and gaining skills rapidly. His potty training progresses well; he understands where he is supposed to potty and where he shouldn’t. Beanie Baby wakes once during the night to alert that he needs to go outside. He will go in his crate and remain relaxed in it when you leave the room. He has started some basic obedience and leash training (he likes the treats that come with practice!). Beanie Baby is vaccinated and neutered and ready to go home with his adopter. Beanie Baby’s ideal home? A young puppy, he loves everyone and everything.  His ideal home would have people to love, who will love him in return and ensure he learns the skills that will make him a happy and well-rounded dog. Some neat toys to play with and a soft blanket for naps would make him deliriously happy. Does this sound like your home? Don't miss out on the chance to add a bundle of joy and endless cuddles to your life. Adopt Beanie Baby and let the love and laughter begin! Want to meet Beanie Baby? Your Sun-Kissed Canine Companion! Meet Malibu! Malibu is in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area. (See information below in the “Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue” section.). Malibu, along with her four siblings, journeyed cross country from Texas to our rescue in Spokane. Are you searching for a furry friend as bright and cheerful as a day at the beach? Look no further than Malibu, the playful puppy with a sunny disposition and a heart as warm as the California sun! Malibu is a black shepherd mix puppy who is loving and sweet and will be your loyal friend. Whether you are taking a stroll along the boardwalk or cuddling up at home, she will be by your side, ready to share in all of life's adventures. In her foster home, Malibu is happy to play with the resident dogs and children or snuggle quietly in your lap for hours. She does well with cats, too. Malibu recently took a road trip with her foster family (and their canines) and had a wonderful time. She has blossomed into a social butterfly and enjoyed being the center of attention among new people (more chances to be adored!). Despite her young age, Malibu is already an experienced traveler. Malibu is working on her basic skills. She is progressing in her potty training and will spend several hours at a time in her crate. Malibu sleeps through the night. She comes when called, sits on command, and knows that “crate” means to go curl up in her pen. Malibu is a quick study and food motivated; obedience training means treats! Malibu’s ideal home? Yours, of course! She likes everything and wants to share in your world. Her list is simple; walks or fetch games in the backyard, toys for playing, lots of cuddles and snuggles, and people to love who will love her in return and ensure she learns the skills that will make her a well-balanced and happy dog.  Ready to add some sunshine to your life? Remember the days of pixelated fun and endless adventures on your handheld device? Well, get ready to relive those nostalgic memories with Tamagotchi, the real-life virtual pet you've been waiting for! Sweet, sassy, and playful, Tamagotchi is the leader of her litter and loves to oversee her siblings when their mama is taking a break. She is a sweet and vocal puppy and enjoys directing the play of her brothers, as long as she is at the center of the puppy pile. Tamagotchi doesn’t like being left out of the fun! Friendly and affectionate, she loves people (adults and children) and enjoys snuggling closely with you and giving kisses. Playing with toys, romping with siblings, cuddling with people, and exploring new places are all tops in her book. Born on May 2, 2024, Tamagotchi is a very young puppy. She has started potty training and still sleeps in a puppy pile in a pen with her siblings; she will begin leash, crate, and obedience training as soon as she is old enough to do so. Tamagotchi’s ideal home? A young puppy, she loves everyone and everything.  A home with people to love, who will love her in return and ensure she learns the skills that will make her a happy and well-rounded dog. Some neat toys to play with and daily walks and adventures. And lots of attention! Does this sound like your home? We are currently accepting adoption applications for Tamagotchi. Tamagotchi will be old enough for adoption on or about July 5, 2024, and will be spayed (she is scheduled for this procedure in early July) before going to live with her adopter. Just like the bond you had with your virtual pet back in the day, Tamagotchi is ready to be your loyal companion through thick and thin. Together, you'll create new memories that will last a lifetime. Disclaimer: Tamagotchi requires love, attention, walks and belly rubs to thrive. Batteries not included. Want to meet Tamagotchi? Add some spice to your life! Meet Sienna! Sienna is in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area. (See information below in the “Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue” section).  Sienna traveled to our rescue from Texas, where she and her brother Salmon had been on the euthanasia list in an overcrowded Texas shelter. Friendly and athletic, this charming girl with her sweet eyes and adorable head tilt is taking advantage of her second chance and living life to the fullest.  Though a little puppy, Sienna is spicy, feisty, and full of energy. This little girl is all about life, playing with toys and other dogs, people, and being outdoors. Sienna is brave, curious, and not shy about meeting new people; she does well with kids and other dogs. She behaves herself with the resident cat but does want to play with him, so she would do best with a dog-savvy feline. As a young puppy, she loves everybody and just assumes that they will all love her in return. She is an energetic girl who wants all the attention and all the toys, and she enjoys playing with anyone (human or canine) willing to indulge her. Once she tires, she will sprawl out on your lap for a power nap complete with contented sighs. Sienna is learning many skills in her new foster home. She can spend several hours at a time in her crate, and she is progressing well in her potty training. Sienna has begun leash training. A smart little pup, Sienna is mastering her basic obedience commands (treats are a great incentive).   Sienna’s ideal home? One with active people who will take her for walks or play games in the yard and then cuddle with her. Maybe a dog sibling to show her the ropes and join her in her games. People who will love her, that she can love in return, and ensure that she learns the skills that will make her a well-rounded and happy dog. If this sounds like your home, contact us to learn more about this spicy and loving little girl! Want to meet Sienna? Fill out an inquiry form or visit our website for more information! Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue At Path of Hope Rescue, our goal is to make EVERY DOG. Our adoption process sets us apart. Our dogs are spayed/neutered prior to adoption; microchipped with free lifetime registration; and up to date on DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines (when age appropriate) and heartworm and deworming. Adopters can also earn a $100 training refund if they attend (6) hours of any in person training course. Path of Hope offers post adoption owner support including information on making the dog’s transition to your home a smooth one; recommendations for Preferred Trainers; advice on pet behavior and wellness topics; Facebook litter groups to keep in touch with fellow adopters; and invitations to local rescue hosted events. Pixie Powder

Looking to add some color to your life? Meet Pixie Powder! Pixie Powder is in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area. (See information below in the “Adoption Donation” section.) Born in August of 2023, Pixie Powder is a small female, black/brown Labrador Retriever mix (best guess). Pixie Powder has the warmest chocolatey brown eyes and the most endearing floppy ears; this girl has a smile that will melt your heart. She is a friendly, curious, active older pup who enjoys playing, chewing, and romping with equal joy. Pixie Powder is up for adventures, whether it is an explore along the water with her people or a backyard romp with other canine buddies. Loyal Pixie Powder is the ideal companion dog and enjoys the company of the children she has met; she wants everyone to join in her games and give her head scratches. Pixie loves playing with other dogs but prefers calm introductions (don’t we all?) and would be a great addition to a home with a current dog. She is calm with cats but will chase them when they run so a dog-savvy cat would be best. As an older puppy, Pixie Powder has many skills in place. She is fully crate trained and will spend hours quietly in her crate with her toys and chews. She is potty trained, has good recall skills, and sleeps through the night. Pixie Powder is a smart, treat-motivated pup, and she is thriving in her obedience training. She has the basics down well and is working on a variety of other commands.   What is Pixie Powder’s ideal home? Pixie Powder’s sweet and friendly personality will add color to any home, and she’d love to be a part of yours! Kids and other dogs would be a bonus. Outdoor activities like walks or playing in the yard would be appreciated by this playful girl. Pixie Powder seeks a family to love and cherish her, to give her lots of new adventures, and to ensure she learns the skills that will make her a well-rounded and happy dog. In return, she’ll make you laugh, keep you active, and bring a lot of love into your life.   Want to meet Pixie Powder? Fill out an inquiry form or visit our website for more information!
