Born on May 23, 2023, Agnes is a female German Shepherd mix (best guess). She is a medium sized puppy, expected to be around 40 lbs when fully grown. She is a playful pup that looks like she will be medium energy, and will enjoy living with an active family who can give her daily exercise. As she is so teeny, we’re still getting to know her personality but so far we can see that Agnes is a loving girl with the fluffiest mane of hair.  Agnes is part of the Timeless litter, coming to Path of Hope by way of our new foster sharing program with SCRAPS. Agnes and her siblings are still with their mom, Mabel, but she will soon be able to join their furever home. At Path of Hope Rescue we strive to decrease the euthanasia rate of high-risk dogs in the southern United States by transporting pregnant dogs and puppies to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive homes. We are 100% foster based and rely on volunteers and fosters to help in our mission. Our goal is to make EVERY DOG. WANTED. Adoption fee: $450-$550. Please visit https://www.pathofhoperescue.com/ for more information about our organization and the adoption process.  We will choose the most suitable home for each dog, not the first application received. If the dog you are applying for is adopted, we have hella good matchmakers that will help you find your perfect new four-legged family member. Since the dogs that come up the Path of Hope are rescues, not much is known about them. Therefore breed and adult sizes are our best guesses and we cannot guarantee this information is accurate.  Path of Hope Rescue is located and based out of Spokane, WA. Adopters may choose to travel to Spokane to pick up their dog or use our monthly transport option to your local area for an additional delivery surcharge of $250. show less

Born around January 2023, Flora is a female Australian Kelpie husky mix (best guess). She is a medium sized dog at around 40 lbs, fully grown. She loves snuggling and playing, getting on well with both dogs and humans, including kids. She is a high energy dog who will enjoy daily walks. Flora came to us from Pecos, Texas via our "Dog is My Co-Pilot" flight after being saved from the 7/21/23 euthanasia list.  We’re still getting to know Flora’s personality but so far we have learned that she is very affectionate, snuggly and smart. While she is crate trained she prefers to be where the action is, staying close by to other dogs and humans.  Microchipped, vaccinated, potty-trained, sleeps through the night, can be left alone, and is food motivated.  At Path of Hope Rescue we strive to decrease the euthanasia rate of high-risk dogs in the southern United States by transporting pregnant dogs and puppies to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive homes. Born around March 2023, Thames is a male Cattle Dog/Shepherd/Pit/Boxer mix (best guess). He is a medium sized pup at around 60 lbs, fully grown. To say that he is great with everyone is an understatement - he LOVES people, dogs, kiddos. He is medium energy so would thrive with an active family that can take him for daily walks around the neighborhood or on trails.  Thames was part of the Rivers Litter that came to Path of Hope Rescue via Higher Ground Animal Sanctuary, another rescue in Washington, who asked us if we could help these adorable pups and Mama. By saying yes, it helped  free up more space in their program so they can help save more dogs.   Thames is super affectionate and playful, equally playtime with snuggles on the sofa. He is doing well in training, sleeps through the night, potty trained and can be left alone for short periods of time. In short, he is a perfect companion dog! At Path of Hope Rescue we strive to decrease the euthanasia rate of high-risk dogs in the southern United States by transporting pregnant dogs and puppies to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive homes. Born around 2020, Mabel is a female German shepherd mix (best guess). She is a medium sized dog at around 35 lbs, fully grown. Great with everyone, she interacts well with kids of all ages and other dogs. She is medium energy and would love an active family that can take her for daily walks around the neighborhood or on trails.  Mabel and her 9 sweet puppies came to Path of Hope Rescue via our new foster sharing program with SCRAPS. Mabel has been a wonderful and loving mom but now that her babies are old enough to find homes of their own, Mabel is looking for her own furever family. We believe that prior to being rescued, Mabel was very likely an outdoor dog so a fenced yard would be ideal for her so she can continue to spend time outside. With a supportive and calm family who can love on her and help her adjust to family/home life, Mabel will grow in confidence. Mabel rarely barks and has shown her foster family so much love with a funny personality, including “smiling” when she is excited and wants attention. She is very friendly and gets on well with everyone. She can be a one person dog or a family dog, she will welcome friends, visitors and guests. Responds well on leash once clipped in, does well in the car for short rides. Spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, sleeps all night, can be left alone, is food motivated, and ALMOST fully potty trained, this girl is a perfect canine companion.  At Path of Hope Rescue we strive to decrease the euthanasia rate of high-risk dogs in the southern United States by transporting pregnant dogs and puppies to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive homes. Born around November 2022, Outtie is a female Lab mix (best guess). She is a medium/large dog expected to be approximately 50-60 lbs at adult weight. Daily walks and exercise would be best for this gal because she still has a lot of puppy energy. Great with kids and other dogs of all ages and sizes. As far as we know, she has not been around cats. Outtie was rescued off of a Reservation here in Washington when she was a tiny pup. Skinny and malnourished, she landed herself in a shelter in Spokane and then transfered a foster home. She was so lovable, she was adopted by the foster family, along with her brother. Due to a very personal family matter, Outtie and her brother were surrendered to Path of Hope at 8 months old. Outtie is a great pup! She knows all the basic commands, listens well, is crate trained, and fully potty trained. She would make the best addition to any family.  At Path of Hope Rescue we strive to decrease the euthanasia rate of high-risk dogs in the southern United States by transporting pregnant dogs and puppies to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive homes. Born around November 2022, Dean Martin is a male pittie, cattle dog, Dutch shepherd mix (sibling DNA results shown above). He is a medium sized puppy and is expected to be more than 40 lbs when fully grown. Great with kids of all ages, other dogs, strangers, and seniors. Crate trained, sleeps all night (most nights), and is ALMOST fully potty trained, he is the perfect family dog! This poor guy spent his first several weeks of life living under an abandoned house in Texas with his mom and siblings. By the time they were rescued and traveled up the Path of Hope, some of the pups were very sick. Sadly, we had to say goodbye to two of his littermates. Dean Martin is the perfect mix of energetic and chill and would do best in a home with at least one other active dog. His goofy smile can light up any room and his eyes are swoonworthy. Since he is a puppy, he needs supervision and training as he enjoys chewing and tends to jump on his people. Hi, I’m Bambi! Here are some fun facts about me: 🐾 Age: 6 months 🐾 Breed: Unsure what breed I am… but 100% adorable. 🐾 Describe yourself in 3 words: Playful, Cuddly, Smart 🐾 Faves: I am really social and get on well with everyone. I love getting attention - cuddles, pets… from humans or other animals, I don’t mind, as long as there are belly rubs involved. I also love the summery weather as I’m not a fan of the cold. 🐾 Secret skills: I have the most soulful puppy dog eyes… so be prepared for lots of snuggles. I am a great sleeper and will sleep in bed with you, in the kennel… 🐾 Dream forever family: I get on will with the hooman littles, strangers, other dogs, cats… and even squirrels. I’d fit in anywhere! I do great in the car so would be a great adventure buddy for a family that likes to travel and explore. 🐾 Backstory: I don’t know much about how I got to be a PHR pup but I do know that I am so glad that I been saved and get to live with an awesome foster family who are showing me the ropes. It has been so great spending time learning what family life is like and I can’t wait to meet my very own furever family soon. 🐾 If I were a character from a movie I’d be… Olaf from Frozen. Just like Olaf, I’m super friendly, love hugs (or, in my case, belly rubs) and the summer.   **Bambi is located in a foster home in the Spokane, WA area. Hi, I’m Sheep! Here are some fun facts about me: Breed: Lab Heeler Mix Backstory: I come from Texas where I ended up in a shelter with my siblings. One day we were loaded on a van and drove all day and all night. When we arrived in Spokane, it was soooo cold and snowy. I don’t remember too much else- thankfully I’ve been with an awesome foster family who have looked after me and shown me how amazing being with a family is. I hope I can join my forever family soon! Describe yourself in 3 words: Affectionate, Playful, Smart Faves: I LOVE to be with the hoomans - they are my favoritest thing! I also enjoy chewing on my toys, going on car rides, and lounging around the house. And of course, I love my snuggles and kisses too! Secret skills: I’m crate-trained and good on a leash. I get on great with kids, dogs and other animals. Dream forever family: I’m a really affectionate girl and am so excited to join a forever family where I can show love with lots of kisses and snuggles.  Even though I’m a big dog, I love to get carried like a baby and snuggle up with the hoomans. If I were a character from a movie, I’d be… Elle Woods from Legally Blonde. Just like Elle, I’m fun and bring lots of happy vibes. I’m sweet and have golden tresses, just like Elle, but don’t underestimate me - I’m super smart too.  show less
