Meet Jester of the Royals puppies! These puppies were found on the street in El Centro by a rescuer who fostered them until they came to us at the Rescued Dog. Jester’s foster mom reports that he is the class clown of the litter. His hobbies include sneaking up on his brothers and sisters and getting into mischief. He is spunky and loves to interact with other dogs. At just eight weeks old, he is still working on potty training. Jester is a basset hound/cattle dog mix. As such, he is very energetic and vocal and prone to being mouthy, which means he will do best in a home with a yard and a family who will give him plenty of exercise. He will most likely not do well with small children. Adopters with previous experience with herding/working breeds are preferred. If you are interested in meeting Jester, please fill out an application on our website and an adoption coordinator will be in touch. show less

Meet Little Daisy! This sweet shepherd mix came to us from Mexicali. At almost 5 months old Daisy is crate trained and working on her potty training, but she's almost there. Daisy is all puppy, curious, mischievous, and playful. She is very food motivated so she is very easy to train, she already has sit and down mastered. Daisy is looking for an active home to take her on lots of adventures. Because she is a teething, mouthy puppy she will do best in a home without young children. If you would like to meet Little Daisy please fill out an application on our website and an adoption coordinator will be in contact. show less

Meet Guinevere (aka Gwen) of the Royals puppies! These puppies were found on the street in El Centro by a rescuer who fostered them until they came to us at the Rescued Dog. Gwen’s foster mom reports that she is playful and independent. She can often be found taking a nap in a hidden corner of the room. She is sweet, loving, and an active explorer. Besides being absolutely adorable, she is well rounded in her ability to both play and snuggle. At just eight weeks old, she is still working on potty training. Gwen is a basset hound/cattle dog mix. As such, she is very energetic and vocal and prone to being mouthy, which means she will do best in a home with a yard and a family who will give her plenty of exercise. How handsome is Nico? He came to us from a local shelter, but before that he spent two and a half years at a rescue in Mexicali. At about four years old Nico is learning about life outside a shelter, everything is new to him and it's all a little scary. He’s very playful, animated when he plays and when toys are tossed for him. He’s very affectionate; it's so wonderful to see how relaxed he’s become in a short time in his foster home. He has great potential. Nico is working on basic commands, he is crate and house trained, doing well on leash, and loves car rides. At 37 pounds he is the perfect size for many living situations. He is looking for a family will get him out in the world with lots of experiences. He would love walks and hikes, he is extremely happy when he’s outdoors and exposure to new environments boosts his confidence! He will need a patient family, with older children, that will help guide him through this transition into being a loving pet. If you would like to meet Nico please fill out an application on our website and an adoption coordinator will be in contact. show less
