Hi friends! My name is Coco, yes like the movie Coco! 😊 My name fits perfectly because I am a high energy, active, snuggly pup vying for the attention of men, women, and strangers alike. I keep my trim 18 pound frame by grazing throughout the day and eating my big meal at dinner time. They say I'll likely be about 20-25 pounds when I'm full grown. My exercise regimen consists of playing around with some of my favorite toys – especially my kong, nylabone and stuffed animals! I thrive on one to two walks a week, not as important as my play time with other furry friends. Only downside to my walks is the leash – I don’t like random movements or pulls. It might have something to do with my high energy levels and goofy side. I love to love my adult humans and prefer cuddle time but I am trained to stay in the crate for nap time as my humans go explore the world for 2-3 hours. I do need some patience, I am still getting used to potty training outside and learning to enjoy my own company when I am left to entertain myself. I need a loving home, with playful owners and hopefully another furry pup to play with! She knows the “sit” command and is crate & house trained. She is gaining confidence with each walk that she takes, and she does not pull on the leash. Hi friends! My name is Wynton and the folks here say it’s time for me to find my forever family. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I’m 30 pounds of awesome and about five months old. I hear there’s a good chance I’m going to be a big guy, probably 70 to 90 pounds, by the time I’m done growing. They think I’m a Shepherd/Whippet mix and may have some Great Dane in my family tree. I say, whatever I am, I’m not bad to look at and I sure do try to be a very good boy. I hope my family gives me a rope toy; those are my favorite. I don’t even mind playing by myself if my foster mom is busy. This leash walking stuff is new, but I like it, especially when I walk along with my doggie housemates. Wouldn’t it be great if I had a new sister or brother to help me figure out all these new things? I admit, I can be shy around crowds, but otherwise, I really enjoy meeting all kinds of people, from the smallest to the tallest. Right now, I sleep on the floor at night and sometimes even in the big bed. That’s so cool. I don’t bark much, only sometimes after dark, when I hear something I’m not sure of. I love to run around and play. I’d really enjoy having enough space to stretch my long legs, plus lots of exercise and adventures. Ok, so this is embarrassing. Sometimes if I get startled or excited, I pee just a little. I’m pretty sure my foster mom is proud of me though because I can hold it all night now most of the time. Mario is such an amazing puppy! He was found with his brother who had been hit by a car and was not able to walk. Both boys were in rough shape but Mario did all he could to keep Luigi safe and get them rescued. He's a modern day Lassie (is that too outdated for 2021?)!! Mario is a 3-4 month old lab/shepherd mix and we think he will be 40+ pounds when full grown. He does great with dogs, was in a foster home with a toddler and did well, but he was a little freaked out by his feline foster sister. Cats are scary!! Mario is great in his crate and doing really well on his potty training, but it is a work in progress. He had never been on a leash before and wasn't a fan at first, but he is getting the hang of it and loves walks. He would love a home with an active family who understands the importance of socialization and training for a young puppy. Mario is ready to be an amazing ambassador for rescue dogs, he really has so much potential. His current foster says he is the best puppy she has had in awhile, and she fosters a lot of puppies! Mario is sweet, loves to play, is not too clingy and in our eyes he is a hero! Right now this Australian Shepherd/Shepherd mix pup is 15 pounds, but he's expected to be 45 pounds when full grown. DJ is an active pup who runs around outside and plays in the backyard 2-3 times a day for a total of 30 minutes. He is crate-trained and soon-to-be house-trained. He still has a few accidents, but overall he has adjusted very well. He is good with other dogs, strangers, men, and women. When he's outside on leash, he tends to sniff during walks since he's still a curious puppy. But when he's inside, he likes to cuddle with people and snuggle with his brother, Disco. DJ is still working on not picking things up from outside and not peeing in his playpen, but he's getting there! He is a pup who can definitely live with other dogs or alone.
