Meet sweet Ms Charli Mae. Charli is the perfect combination of affectionate and playful. Her favorite place to be is in your lap and snuggling. Her humans are her people. Charli absolutely loves her large foster dog brothers and will get rowdy with the rowdy one and be calm and snuggly with the calm one. She also has a senior feline foster sister and she is curious but always respectful. Her absolute favorite person in the world is her human 4 year old foster sister. She is gentle and calm and just wants to be near her. Charli is super smart and responds extremely quickly to training and correction. She doesn’t chew on anything she isn’t supposed to and absolutely loves her toys. She will happily entertain herself by throwing her toys around. She’s just our easy, loving girl wrapped in perfection and adored by all. Meet Daphne! Daphne, a young Female Dutch Shepherd mix, who definitely knows her name.   She has the basic commands of come, sit and lay down, We are working on stay.  At meal time she quietly sits waiting for her bowl.  With time she will not inhale her food thinking someone else will get it.  I can put my hand in her bowl without her being aggressive it.  Loves treats and takes them gently with when put in an open hand.  Daphne is crated at night and during the day while I’m at work.  I put a bone in her crate that is smeared with natural peanut butter as she is content!  I leave the door to her crate open and she goes inside to hang out, safe space. Potty trained- as soon as I let her out of the crate she heads outside and does her business, praising her for good potty outside.  Loves toys of all kinds - her goal is to remove the squeaker.  Heavy duty toys for her is a big plus.  Loves to have her belly rubbed. The leash, if she sees the car she puts the brakes on and hard to move her towards it.  Taking small steps with her wearing the leash and being in the backyard. She is fine with the other dogs she has met, the only barking or sounds from her is when you leave her out of the crate, she’s excited you are there. dult: 1-6 yrs $400.00 Each of our dogs are fully vaccinated to include Bordetella, DHLPP and Rabies. Meet Macy! Lovely miss Macy. Macy is a gentle soul in a playful puppy body. She is calm and cautious before coming into anything unfamiliar. Macy is very affectionate and asks for loves in the sweetest ways. She has a 17 year old feline foster sister that she is very respectful of. She has two big canine foster brothers that she adores and always wants to snuggle and kiss. Her favorite family member by far is her 4 year old human foster sister. She lights up and her little tail starts going as soon as she enters the room. Macy is a playful puppy but doesn’t have rambunctious energy when playing with her favorite little girl. She would do great in a home with young or older kids as she loves snuggles from her teenage human foster brother as well. Macy loves her rubber toys the most and is crate trained and pee pad trained and very responsive to verbal correction. She would make a great addition to any home with her easy going nature. Puppy: up to 1 yr $450.00 Our dogs are spayed/neutered and a registered chip. For our puppies they are up to date on vaccinations.  Once adopted it is the new owner’s responsibility to continue the remaining vaccinations with a veterinarian. Meet Mickie! A little bit about Mickie.... Mickie no longer likes to be an outside dog. Her favorite spot is right by you. Whether you are folding clothes or working on your computer, she is there. She crates well when you are gone, but really doesn't need to be crated. She does well waiting for you to return home. She simply waits by the door or on the couch watching for your return. Mickie loves her walks.  She does lovely on the leash, although I usually let her drag the leash as she stays right by me. She has no reactivity at all when out and about. Mickie knows all her basic commands. Still working on stay.  Mickie does not know she has three legs, and plays and runs so well!  We believe she is around 4 years old. Mickie loves to play with toys now. Never chews them up, but tosses and enjoys them.  Mickie will make an amazing companion. She actually would love a companion herself. She loves her humans. Mickie is dog, kid, adult, and cat friendly dog.  Mickies favorite place is on her back on the couch right next to you. She truly is the perfect dog. Meet Reese! Reese’s is the happy medium of the three sisters. She is socialable and likes to be part of the action. If she feels like something else is more interesting she’s happy to check it out on her own. She loves being outside and is content to do her own thing in the yard while everyone else is inside. She’s still very snuggly when exploring time is over and it’s time to settle in for the afternoon nap. Reese’s would love someone who is the outdoorsy type and could take her on adventures either regularly or as a weekend warrior. Reese’s would likely thrive in an environment where she can go in and out as she pleases while you’re at work. Meet Sequoia! This sweet face! Sequoia is about 2 years old, on the petite side and despite not being treated well when she was young she has the biggest heart full of love for her family. She is the most loyal, devoted Velcro dog ever. She has become my shadow so all my photos of her are by my side - whether it’s waking up, brushing my teeth, cooking, reading, working, doing chores outside - she is right there, settled in, front legs tucked under her and just happy being with me.    She will look up at us adoringly. She does have bursts of energy and loves playing with her foster brothers. She loves to be chased so will antagonize them to chase her. She will play ball a little but not very much into fetch. She seems to prefer cuddle time with a few times for exercise to get the wiggles out. She recently conquered her fear of stairs and will go up and down now cautiously.    She does go in a crate when we need, but we have found she’s happiest in her bed for the night right next to our bed.  Sequoia loves our cat, plays with him gently and also respects the chickens when when they are roaming around the yard.  She will hunt the occasional fly but we just haven’t seen a strong prey drive.  Sequoia would do best in a home with another dog. She is happy to be the follower not the leader. In her last foster home she had bad separation anxiety but we haven’t seen this probably because she has the foster sibling dogs and she’s also now out of that decompression state.  Sequoia is very protective of her family. New people and dogs need to be introduced slowly. She needs a family that has experience working with a dog that needs slow introductions and how to keep her on a leash during transitions. She will alert bark and bark (and even warning growl) if she meets someone new in her house / in her space. She needs to be on leash to learn that these are friends. She has already shown great progress and we just need this training to continue.  Sequoia does have some food allergies that make her itchy - chicken and wheat predominantly. She eats a venison kibble that works well for her and can eat most treats.  If you’d like to learn more about Sequoia her foster mom is happy to talk and even do a meet and greet. Just fill out an application with CalPaws and reference Sequoia!  Adoption fees: Adult  dogs: 1-6 years $400.00 Each of our dogs are up to date on vaccines and chiped.
