He’s the last to bark or react, he is more submissive than the rest of the pack. He is more cautious and likes to hang back and observe. He’s a very smart boy and learning to sit. Getting very good with potty training, only a couple pee accidents in house. He’s a good sleeper - sleeps through night. Loves loves his treats. Loves to have his face and ears rubbed and snuggles all day long. He’s active but will settle down fast in a lap. He’s the first to ask to be lifted into your lap, by your side on the couch. This beauty came to us as a stray and is approximately 4 months old weighing 29 lbs. Coco is such a very well-behaved pup, is housetrained, spayed and knows how to sit! She loves to be close to her people but prefers to get her ear rubs and hugs on her own terms and loves being around other dogs, sometimes joining in their play and sometimes observing from a distance. When barking erupts, she runs to her people for reassurance and then happily trots back to the pack. She quietly crates when her people are gone, but does not like the crate at night, instead preferring to sleep on a dog bed near her other dog foster brother and sisters. She loves water and like many GSDs, drinks water with her front feet in the water bowl, so a good mop will be essential! Coco is on the submissive side and is quite a chill little girl who will steal your heart with her sweetness! meet Dozer! Dozer is a well rounded 3 month old pup. He is a German Shepherd mix. He is very outgoing and loves to meet new people and animals. He gets along great with the other resident dogs in the home. We are unsure about cats, but given his age we believe it is workable. Dozer is doing awesome on his potty training and has not had an accident and many days. He sleeps well in his crate overnight. He is a very cuddly people orientated pup, and will lay at your feet while his humans are relaxing. He does well with children and loves to play with toys! My name is Dessa. They estimate me to be about 4 years old but I still have boundless energy. I am on the smaller side for my breed weighing in at approximately 55 pounds. I was found as a stray and I have been decomressing with my foster family and doing great. I started out as a pretty blank slate but I'm a super smart student and have learned a ton. I just started working on crate training and it is going well. I can also say I am now housebroken, YAY! I understnad what "outside" for "potty" means though to me sometimes it means outside to PARTY! I am a dawdler and like to explore every nook and cranny... do some zoomies... followed by more exploring before settling on just the right spot. I'm good with meeting other dogs and so far have not met a kid I did not like. I am curious but gentle around other animals (horses and goats). I haven't had the pleasure of meeting a kitty yet but I don't chase birds, squirrels, rabbits or other small furry things, they say that is a good thing. I can be shy and nervous at first but once I warm up I'm glued to your side, I even sometimes try to be a lap dog! So whether you are out and about or just hanging out, I only want to be with you. Meet Koda the Shepsky. He’s a sweet, playful boy with some slightly nervous energy. He has moved around quite a bit in his short life so who can blame him! He is a little skittish meeting new humans and prefers to go at his own pace, but once he warms up…he becomes a complete Velcro dog! He actually will sit on his human’s lap if invited. He loves his foster pittie sister Jo and wants to be by her side at all times. Jo has taught him how to play, wrestle and chase hard and it’s become his favorite activity. Koda also LOVES to play in water. Give him a kiddie pool or even a bucket of water and he is highly entertained. He walks really well on a leash but can still get excited when seeing another dog so we are working on keeping him calm when he sees one approaching. This is absolutely not to say he’s aggressive or doesn’t like other dogs – he seems to love other dogs but just gets too excited when he sees them! Koda is great in the car, is housetrained, and he seems to be very treat and food motivated. Koda can do well in a home with another dog or in a home where he is the only dog. Probably no cats for Koda though as he seems a little too interested in them. Also note Koda has some allergies so should stay on a salmon based diet. Koda is really a good boy who deserves some patient and loving humans to show him some stability and to continue to help him gain his confidence. Odín is a very sweet, shy, submissive boy that sadly, was neglected by his previous owner. He was under weight, had demodex, chronic ear infection in both ears and also tested positive for giardia. In just under a month ,with the proper treatment, this boy has almost fully recovery, and now has a clean bill of health. While he has recovered physically, he is still a work in progress emotionally as he was never proper socialized and is nervous and anxious around new people and new surroundings. He does learn to trust quickly and is very smart, he also likes other dogs and kids but due to his size we reccomend older kids. He has been okay with the cat at his foster home as well. Hi my name is Hunny. I love to cuddle and I will snuggle right in your lap. I like being anywhere my human is whether it's at home, working or watching TV I'm right next to you. If you want to play in the backyard and maybe fill in the holes I dug so I can dig them again that sounds like a great way to spend our afternoon. I like car rides and if there might be a treat or two for me on our adventure that would make my day. At night I have no problem walking right into my crate for a nice long sleep. Kilo is one of the 4 pups that we sprung from the Manteca shelter. Kilo does not know he is pint size. He’s the first to jump in with the big foster brothers and bark at a squirrel, deer or a passing person. He is extremely alert and smart. He watches TV and if there’s a bad guy he growls and barks to warn something bad is about to happen - it’s hilarious how he knows! The other dogs look at him like he’s crazy! He is very confident. He wants to play with the big Danes and took a prized bone and proudly pranced to show it off to even the top dog in our house that he had laid claim to it! He is a love bug, he seems to bonds quickly with his humans and already feels that he should protect their house, strutting at the gate and being on “duty” seems to give him a lot of happiness. He will crawl into a lap, he also is ok to be on the floor by your feet. This boy will need a job, he would be great at scent training. He’s a special puppy and will need dedicated owners that understand his needs.
