Wyatt, is a sweet, loving Belgian Malinois. From what we know, Wyatt has not had the easiest start in life. Wyatt, was attacked by two dogs and had part of his face ripped off. We can only speculate what or how that came to be. Wyatt was brought into the vet hospital to be euthanized. Fortunately a wonderful vet heard of his situation and fought to keep him alive. Lucky for Wyatt, this vet performed reconstruction surgery on his face. The results were amazing. Wyatt has healed well and is your typical Malinois puppy, full of energy and mischief, but loving and eager to learn. Wyatt has been working on his sits, downs, and stays. He still working on leash walking, crate training and playing with toys. Typical of the breed, Wyatt will need consistent training, both physical exercise and mental stimulation and someone who will be patient with him. He loves with all that malinois intensity so having his human is his #1 priority. An experienced handler with this breed is important. He will need someone who can and will spent lots of time with him as he suffers from separation anxiety., over time this can improve as he settles into his forever home. As long as he knows you’re there, he is alright. Wyatt is house trained and is still learning how to meet other dogs. Slow introductions are recommended or being the only dog would benefit him. Adoption fees: Puppy: up to 1 year $450.00 Each of our dogs are fully vaccinated to include Bordetella, DHPP, DHLPP and Rabies. We deworm each dog and chip. Lastly, we spay or neuter each of our dogs. Our adoption process includes an initial conversation about the dog to see if the dog is a good match or if another dog could be a more suitable match. We also will complete a home visit. It should be noted that our adoption counselors know the dogs and can best guide any possible adopter with a suitable match. Please visit https://www.calpaws.org/available-dogs for the adoption application! We are always in need of experienced fosters for the amount of dogs we have coming in. Being a foster is such a rewarding experience. If you are interested please review https://www.calpaws.org/fostering
