Lindsey is the only one of his 4 littermates in rescue that has black and tan coloring, and what a handsome boy he is!  Although he is the smallest of the 4, he makes up for it with his big personality.  He is usually the one to initiate a game of tag and loves to tumble with his siblings, shortly afterwards crashing for a nap!. He does love his cuddles and kisses and if you give him a treat he'll follow you anywhere and sit for it!  Lindsey is UTD on shots, is neutered and working on potty training.  Lindsey wants to find his forever home! Adoption fees: Puppy: up to 1 year $450.00 Each of our dogs are fully vaccinated to include Bordetella, DHPP, DHLPP and Rabies. We deworm each dog and chip. Lastly, we spay or neuter each of our dogs. Our adoption process includes an initial conversation about the dog to see if the dog is a good match or if another dog could be a more suitable match. We also will complete a home visit. It should be noted that our adoption counselors know the dogs and can best guide any possible adopter with a suitable match. Deric & Little Kane (approximately 3 month-old brothers) were abandoned by their owner in a walnut grove in Wasco, CA because they did not want to make the drive to turn them over to a rescue.  They literally posted a picture with GPS coordinates and basically said, "Here's where they are, good luck."  Fortunately, they were found and are currently living their best lives in a very loving foster home.   Little Kane, who strongly resembles a Beagle, is more reserved and likes to stand back and watch when there's a lot of activity. They both get along well with large and small dogs as well as cats and are extremely playful with each other and other dogs as well .  Because of their past, they are a little "stand offish" and require a home (separately or together) that will provide love, support, and patience.  When they first arrived, if you tried to touch them at all, they would run away and cry and pee.  Little by little, they have come out of their shells and will happily submit to head scratches as long as you don't try to grab or hold them, but that will improve with time.  Puppy: up to 1 yr $450.00 Each of our dogs are fully vaccinated to include Bordetella, DHPP, DHLPP and Rabies. We deworm each dog and chip. Lastly, we spay or neuter each of our dogs. Luna was surrendered to animal services 3 months ago. She was surrendered because of a divorce, no one wanted the 15-year commitment that they had just made 2 years prior.  Heartbroken and confused she found herself in a kennel. Thankfully, she was still loved at the shelter. They did what they could to work with her, give her lots of love & time out of her kennel.  One of our volunteers met her while she was there. Her cute brown sugar-colored freckles stood out.  Everyone was excited when she was adopted! It was a couple that planned on letting her live out her life. There were kids in the home that would love her and life was looking up.  Unfortunately, that was short-lived. The couple who adopted her split up. The apartment she now lives in is too small for her big but sweet personality.  Luna is a 2.5-year-old Great Pyrenees mix. She has an all-white soft coat with little brown sugar freckles. She’s good for the groomer, potty trained, crate trained, and good with kids and other dogs. Cats she’s a little too curious about. She is looking for a soft place to land in a home to call her own for the rest of her life!  Are you Lunas 3rd time is a charm? Promise you won’t break up or get divorced? Well if you do at least let her stay. Life happens, we get it, but dogs are a lifelong commitment. They are a piece of the family.  Adoption fees: Adult: 1-6yr $400.00 Each of our dogs are fully vaccinated to include Bordetella, DHPP, DHLPP and Rabies. We deworm each dog and chip. Mama Sloane has finished her very important mama duty and is ready to find her forever home. Sloane is happiest when she is free to lounge in the sun, on the dog bed, the couch (she will gladly listen to you if couch is a no no in your home) and sleeping next to my youngest son. She wants to be the leader and she is the absolute BEST guard dog. She loves her people and her pack. She is currently living in a home with three children (7yrs, 11yrs and 13yrs old). I think she would be happy in a family home or happy in a single or two person home. She wouldn’t mind as long as she gets a lot of love. She is not needy but she appreciates attention. She lives along side 3 female dogs, 4 cats (ignores them) a Guinea pig, bearded dragon and two birds. She does so gracefully. She is a very mellow girl but would love a home where she can still get out and enjoy life. I’m guessing there are still many firsts for this sweet mama. While she does live nicely with my pack, she is an alpha female, even with very submissive dogs. She needs a slow introduction and a strong and confident handler to be able to have a smooth interaction. She could live with another dog or two but I do think she would thrive as the only dog in the home. I have loved the slow pace of this mama, she is a lovely lady. ✨Potty trained ✨Crate trained ✨Non destructive ✨Quiet unless guarding ✨Does not jump ✨Walks nicely on leash ✨Loves car rides ✨Good listener ✨Cat Friendly ✨Kid Friendly ✨Cute curly tail full of wags Adoption fees: Adult: 1-6 yrs $400.00 Each of our dogs are fully vaccinated to include Bordetella, DHPP, DHLPP and Rabies. Little girl Nova is a sweet pea! Her different colored eyes will make you swoon, and her ears with minds of their own will always make you smile. Her coy shyness to new people is endearing, and the second you’ve won her over, it’s game on! The joy she brings to those that meet her is infectious. Nova has a playful spirit, ready to take on even the big dogs. One minute wrestling, the next snuggling and giving little kisses to her big foster brother. She is also attentive enough to play well with her other foster brother, a chihuahua-mix, and knows how to match his energy and play style. Nova works up quite the appetite and has an affinity for all the yummy things! With her drive for snackies, she has learned sit, down, and come. She is mostly potty trained, despite the rogue accident, however even then she makes it to the potty pad. She is so smart! She is eager to please and is an excellent follower, imitating and learning from her foster siblings. Nova would love and thrive in a home with another dog to continue learning from, and even a human sibling or two to keep up with her. She spends weekly time with little human cousins who adore her, and she is learning her manners quickly! When playtime is over, Nova loves a good snuggle time, and endless belly rubs. She is naturally affectionate, seeking human touch even in her sleep. This little love bug will make an excellent fluffy family member for anyone who craves reciprocal love and dedication! Puppy: up to 1 yr $450.00 Each of our dogs are fully vaccinated to include Bordetella, DHPP, DHLPP and Rabies. We deworm each dog and chip. Lastly, we spay or neuter each of our dogs. Regina is the ultimate family dog! She aims to please, and loves kids, adults, and other animals.  She is extremely sweet, calm and gentle.  Regina also listens well and has had some training to help with manners in and outside the home. She knows, sit, down, heel, slow, wait, and hear or this way.  Regina loves to go on adventures. She’s great in the car and enjoys parks,  walks, hikes and even being off leash. When she is off leash she loves playing fetch, running around, doing zoomies, and meeting new friends. She loves to be pet and receive affection and praise and gives gentle affection in return.  Regina is fostered in a home with a female and male adult, 2 kids ages 6 and 8, a small  female dog, 1 male cat, 2 guinea pigs, and 4 hens. She does ok with the hens but occasionally runs towards their fence if they flutter and catch her attention, although she mostly ignores them and listens when called away. She is gentle with the guinea pigs, and gets along with with our small 17lb female dog. She does prefer some space when meeting new stranger dogs and is better with slow introductions but generally warms up quickly once comfortable. Regina is mostly friendly to or ignores the cat but will react when the cat hisses or runs away quickly. I think she would do best in a home with a confident cat who is used to big dogs or in a home without cats. She likes being with her humans and absolutely loves the kids. She has been very calm and gentle around all the children she’s come in contact with. I think she would prefer a home with kids and where she’s not left alone for long hours each day.  Regina is crate and house trained. She can easily spend a couple hours in the crate as needed. She knows to go potty outside and has no accidents when let out frequently enough. This girl can drink so much water. Regina prefers to sleep on the foot of the bed or take naps on the floor. She rarely uses her dog bed.  Although Regina is very obedient and quick to learn, I think she would benefit from having owners who will use commands and training she knows and are willing to do at least one session with the trainer she’s familiar with. Besides occasionally jumping on the counter to help herself to human food  she is extremely well behaved. Is this fun loving and easy going girl your family dream dog? Hi thereI I am Samantha. I am a pocket shepherd... ok, I just made that up but I am just a little girl! At 10 months old I only weigh 40 pounds. I am the true definition of a velcro dog, I sure LOVE my people.  I sleep peacefully in the room at night with my parents and fur sibling. When I am not sleeping, I LOVE to be active! I am a typical shepherd puppy and use my mouth to play but never bite. I love being in the yard chasing critters and birds. I would love to find a home that has a well behaved resident dog to help me learn more things! I am great at meeting new friends but don't know what to do after that.  I have been around kids and love those siblings too. Say hello to Scout - guestimated at about a year old & best guess; a lab/shepherd mix. He is still a young puppy dog at heart and has some learning to do. With that being said, once he is comfortable; he is an exuberant, curious, happy go lucky kind of a guy! He loves using his nose and exploring all there is too offer out there in the world. Once he gets his leash manners down to a pat, he will make an amazing hiking or adventure buddy He loves to cuddle on the couch, play ball, and go for car rides. In fact, car rides are probably his FAVORITE of all things to do. He will walk up to almost any car and try to get in if he thinks he can get a ride out of it! Once inside, he explores for a minute and then curls up in a ball and goes to sleep like a good boy! He gets along with easy going large and small dogs (no cats) and would love a nice yard to patrol and get his zoomies on in. Scout is crate trained and potty trained and would thrive in an active family that is committed to continuing his training so he can be the best boy he can be! Mamba is a very happy, sweet boy, who just wants to be with his people. If you have a free hand he will put you to work with belly rubs!  When Mamba was found he was severely underweight (entire bone structure visible from skull to tailbone) eating from a trash bag in an orchard and no water in 95+ heat. He was initially distrustful of humans and would not let anyone near him. Luckily, he was more than happy to make new friends with the dog his rescuers had with them. He greeted her excitedly with licks and hops. Luckily Mamba decided to follow the other dog back to the car and jumped in. Mamba must have been ready to give up his wondering ways and find his forever home. His rescuers believe Mamba is the dog they had seen on many occasions living outside with little-to-no human attention, tied to a pole without shade, on multiple occasions without water in the Central Valley heat. As far as we can piece together, he must have chewed through the tie out one day and never looked back as the owners never came looking for him (thank goodness). As you can image, given his previous neglectful situation Mamba is working hard to catch up on his K9 training and manners. He will need an owner who is dedicated to training however, he has already proven to be intelligent and picks up commands quickly. Mamba has already mastered potty training, sit, and crate training. The best fit for Mamba would be an adopter who can give him the discipline, structure, and the exercise he needs. Mamba does well with other large dogs but given his rough start in life we would love to find him a home where he can be the only dog. That said, if you have a big heart and an even bigger couch Mamba would do fine with other large dogs in the home. He has also proved to be fine with older children who are not susceptible to being knocked down by a well intended but clumsy large dog. Adoption fees: Adult  dogs: 1-6 years $400.00 Each of our dogs are fully vaccinated to include Bordetella, DHPP, DHLPP and Rabies. We deworm each dog and chip.
