Nugget is a pretty amazing little girl. She is a crowd favorite at events, and a house favorite in her foster home. Nugget is small, stout and full of spunk. She plays delightfully well with the resident adult dogs in her foster home. She is mouthy, but not bitey. She plays hard but is very gentle. Nuggets breed is unknown, but there is something to be said about those ears! We jokingly said that she looks like a frenchie mix, but seeing her side by side with french bull dogs, the resemblance is certainly there. Nugget enjoys her snuggles a whole lot, climbing up into her foster moms lap for some gentle kisses and a nap. She is working on crate training, and has been sleeping throught the night for the most part. Potty training is going really well also. Nugget would make an amazing addition to any household that has a resident dog to help guide her through life, she does not like to be alone. She does well with cats and small breed dogs, likes children and all adults that she has met so far. Puppy: up to 1 yr $450.00 Our dogs are spayed/neutered and a registered chip. For our puppies they are up to date on vaccinations. Once adopted it is the new owner’s responsibility to continue the remaining vaccinations with a veterinarian. Our adoption process includes an initial conversation about the dog to see if the dog is a good match or if another dog could be a more suitable match. We also will complete a home visit. It should be noted that our adoption counselors know the dogs and can best guide any possible adopter with a suitable match. If you're looking for a best friend who’s equal parts goofball and guardian, Ragnar might just be your guy. This handsome shepherd is all about two things: fetch and you. Balls, sticks, squeaky toys—if you can throw it, he’s chasing it with pure joy. And when the game’s over? He’ll be right by your side (or under your feet), because in true German Shepherd fashion, Ragnar is a certified Velcro dog. Ragnar is still learning the ropes of indoor life—he was likely an outside dog before—but he's making progress every day. He’s got a strong recall, is hit-or-miss on “sit” and “down,” and is working on other basics like “place” and “leave it.” He is fully housebroken but is a bit of a bull in a china shop with a heart of gold—clumsy, strong, but eager to please and incredibly smart. He even figured out how to navigate public transportation on his own as he was found riding a BART train. He’s learning crate training and he did excellent with a groomer in the bath. He is not reactive towards other dogs and is getting along well with the resident female Shepherd. Ragnar is full of potential, and with patience, guidance, and love, he’s going to make an incredible companion. show less

Georgeanna is a very playful girl. She will want to have a job and enjoy doing it with you. Are you looking for a jogging partner or a dog to do a job with? She may be your girl! She is wonderful with other dogs as well as kids. She may have been of the more petite of the litter, but this puppy is packed with a ton of moxy, personality and sass. She is always the first to the food dish, and the last to leave. Maybe that’s why she has so much energy. She loves to run around, explore her surroundings when let out and, when appropriate, Georgeann will just be near her people. She is always wanting to be involved in whatever you’re doing. She’s incredibly playful, smart, and full of love, and absolutely adorable. So smart that she is starting to learn her commands like sit, come. Martha is two tons of fun and an old soul living in a puppy. This chick is calm, has an even keeled personality and oh-so gentle spirit. She is playful and enjoys her time outside, but is also perfectly content to lay at her humans feet. Martha is incredibly smart and picks up on routines and training quickly. She is so smart that she is starting to learn her commands like sit and stay and she also knows her name. She goes into her crate, willingly, and sleeps through the night. House training is almost complete. Martha is loyal and loving and really wants to be close to her people, kisses galore is what she loves to give her foster mom. She has really found her confidence being divided from her full pack and now she is the leader of her siblings. When she's done eating, she wants to play! Martha has no problem coming and letting her foster mama know that it's playtime. This sweet girl is super affectionate, super smart and he's going to make an excellent addition to any famlly. show less

What do you get when you cross a Husky and a German Shepherd? A dog who is 50% goofy and 50% athletic. Meet Rai, the embodiment of these two amazing breeds. His striking multicolored eyes and classic black and tan coloring perfectly reflect his parentage and have combined to produce a hilarious and gentle companion. He is both playful and calm, athletic and awkward, curious and reserved, cuddly and independent, resilient and affectionate, and strikingly handsome. Rai is a very affectionate boy. He is happy to calmly accept pets and cuddles, rest in his crate, or play with both humans and canine companions. The companion he was found with is about half his size, and when they play, he frequently does 'play bows' and will lay down so his little friend can more easily engage with him. He likes toys, and will awkwardly throw them around while prancing with stiff legs and a goofy smile. However, he is mostly interested in toys as a way to interact with people and other dogs. He loves to be chased, trotting around with a toy in his mouth, but when the other dog loses interest, he will often drop the toy and walk away, as if he never cared about the toy in the first place.We believe he would be cat workable.
