Meet Yoshi, a super cute 2 year old male small terrier mix! He weighs about 12 lbs and is full grown. Yoshi has a flea allergy and has lost a lot of fur. It has been treated and his fur is starting to grow back in. He is good with dogs, people, and kids. He has not been cat tested, but we feel he would probably do fine with cats. Yoshi is medically up to date (will be neutered prior to adoption), mostly housebroken, and crate trained. Apply to met this sweet boy today! Hi! I'm Tutto, but I'm also known as Jax. I'm so adorable because my mom was a beagle mix and my dad was a basset hound. So, I'm not too big, or too small, but I'm just the right size. I was adopted when I was 12 weeks old, but my new person decided they didn't have time for me anymore, so they returned me to Paws Rescue League. I don't know why she didn't want me... I'm a really good boy. I am not a barker, I get along with everyone I meet, and I'm pretty darn good at cuddling, if I don't say so myself. I'm medically up to date, crate trained, and potty trained - no accidents at all! My new CT foster mom says I'm really an excellent dog. This handsome fella is Effie! He is a 1 year old neutered male German Shepherd mix, weighing about 40 lbs. He is good with dogs of all sizes/energy levels, people, and kids! He has not been cat tested but is reactive to squirrels/rabbits, so we feel he would probably do best in a home without cats or small critters. Effie is housebroken, but may have an occasional accident if not taken out on a schedule. He is crate trained and loves his crate! Effie knows basic commands and does well on a leash, but could use some work on pulling. From Effie's current foster: "Effie is an outgoing, friendly, and playful pup! He is sweet and cuddly. This little guy is shy and nervous at first, but he warms up quickly and is an absolute love bug who loves to give kisses! He is good with other dogs and good with people. We recommend older kids 8+ who know to respect a dog's space (due to his small size and his shyness). He has been exposed to a cat in his foster home, and loves to play with her - would be fine with dog savvy cats/cats that enjoy playing. Meet Rocky, a handsome 1 year old neutered male poodle/doodle mix, weighing about 40 lbs! This sweet boy was sadly dumped on someone's property in east TN (very common in this area unfortunately). The property owners were feeding him for about 3 weeks before they reached out for help, and Paws Rescue League took him into rescue. He was extremely matted and had to be shaved, but he has made an amazing transformation! Rocky is a sweet, gentle boy who does a cute little hop when he is excited! He walks well on leash and is great with other dogs, people, and kids. He has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how he would do with cats. With her stunning amber eyes and her shiny black coat, she's a girl you want to meet! She is only a year old, spayed, and a manageable 45 lbs. She is full grown and will not get any bigger. She is a friendly girl who loves to meet new people! She has a cute full body wiggle that she does when she is excited (which is often!). She still has a good amount of puppy energy and would do well in an active home. She would make a great running or hiking buddy! Bindi loves kids, but we recommend dog savvy kids that know how to be around an active dog. She is very sweet and loving, loves to be close to her people and give kisses! Bindi is selectively good with other dogs (for some reason she doesn't seem to like fluffy dogs at the moment... nothing terrible, but she doesn't want to interact with them). Of the dogs she get to play with she LOVES to play with them, but she likes to play rough so would do best with another robust dog like herself that likes to wrestle. She does best with other young, high energy dogs with a similar play style and similar size or larger than her. She also does best with submissive dogs. She is too interested in kitties, so no feline friends for this girl. Some of Bindi's favorite things are BONES, squeaky toys, and belly rubs. Sophie and Saige were rescued from the same hoarding case in TN that Maddison, Myles, Milo, and Micah came from. They are both sweet and affectionate girls, shy at first but they warm up quickly. From Saige's current foster: "Saige is a young adult spayed dachshund mix. Has her “pocket rocket” moments where she runs around the back yard, but is calmer in the house. Very sweet and social, wags her tail and back end when she sees a person she knows! Loves to give kisses and chase Kong balls. A little dog selective, gets along with my 20lb terrier mix perfectly. Sleeps in a crate at night, no messes. Almost housebroken, and uses pee-pads very well in the house. Sweet, sweet dog who wants to be someone’s best friend!" "Healing Hearts" Meet Blue, a 3-4 year old spayed Blue Heeler/Terrier mix, weighing 45-pounds. With her intelligent and affectionate nature, Blue promises unconditional love and companionship. She loves cuddles and snuggles, often initating them by putting her paw on your arm or shoulder. A true lap dog at heart, Blue loves to sleep with her head on your chest or lap. Blue's playful side shines through in her love of toys, interactive games, and energetic playtime. Blue's past injury requires special care. Blue was hit by a car as a stray and her leg began healing before she could receive treatment. Despite her altered gait, Blue remains an active and adventurous companion. She does struggle with a full flight of stairs, especially hardwood stairs, necessitating carpeted or no stairs to prevent falls. She as been socialized with cats and chickens, but like all dogs, will need training to establish boundaries. As part of the Heeler breed, she has a playful nature, and mouthiness. She loves to lick and nibble to show her love, but is easily redirected with a chew toy or a bone. Thriving on human interaction, we strongly suggest homes that don't allow dogs on the couch to not apply. 😅 With the colder weather coming, Blue will make sure you stay warm, in turn, lowering your heating bill. She would love a playmate around her size or larger to keep her active and engaged. Due to her playful mouthiness, we think a household with older children (8+ years) would be perfect. This endearing boy requires time to build trust due to past traumas, particularly with men. Jojo loves women and children, cats, and dogs (with a slow/proper introduction). He does well with the resident dog in his current foster home, but takes a little longer to warm up to dogs he does not know.
