Hi! I’m Roamin! I'm a 2 year old neutered male miniature poodle mix. I weigh about 16 lbs and am full grown. My coat was recently shaved because it was matted when I was taken into rescue, but the nice humans tell me it should grow back in time for winter! I am a happy, friendly boy! I love playing with toys and am good at fetch. I know how to walk nicely on a leash! I also love naps and snuggling close to my people. They tell me I'm pretty cute! I get along with other dogs of all sizes, but I prefer dogs who are more calm and mellow like me. I also prefer female dogs. I like cats and will play with them if they let me, but sometimes I get too excited and they swat at me. I am learning that means to give them space. I love kids and am good with them! Roamin is medically up to date, mostly housebroken (will likely have accidents the first few days while adjusting to a new home/routine), and crate trained. He is a snuggle bug and a very sweet boy! In honor of Black Dog Day, the adoption fee has been reduced for this dog by $150 through 10/31/24 from the adoption fee listed below! Milton is a darling 6-year old Italian Greyhound mix weighing 13 lbs and filled with love. He was saved from domestic violence police response call in CT where he was found locked in a bathroom and was extremely underweight. The police called in animal control and they were able to take him out of that bad home. He's now being loved unconditionally in his CT foster home where he loves to give snuggles, kisses and play with his foster fur brothers. He's steadily been re-gaining weight, and has been brought up to date with his vaccines. He will be neutered on October 10th. He is healthy, happy and just a joy to have in any home. He would love a home with another brother or sister to play with. He is crate trained, potty trained, and great at recall. Millie is a sweet, happy girl who is good with other dogs, people, and kids (we recommend older kids as she is a big girl who is not aware of her size, and she may unintentionally knock over a small child). She has not been cat tested, so we are unsure ho she would do with cats. She is housebroken, she uses a dog door at her foster home in TN. She currently attends doggie daycare and does great with dogs of all sizes and ages! She is crate trained but does not love the crate. She has some separation anxiety, which her foster mom has been working on her with. She is learning that the crate is a safe space where she gets special treats! He loves to run around outside first thing in the morning but spends his afternoon by my feet or collecting all his toys under the dining room table or laying on his bed. He loves to cuddle and snuggle with anyone but his favorite person in our house is my 4 year old daughter. He is gentle with play and we give him bones and toys to help with teething. **SPECIAL NEEDS - PLEASE READ FULL BIO** Maisey Mae is an ADORABLE 4 month old female purebred French Bulldog puppy. This sweet girl was surrendered to our rescue by her previous owner, after she realized that she was unable to accommodate Maisey's special needs. She wanted to ensure that Maisey goes to a loving home that is able to meet Maisey's needs, and that is exactly what Paws Rescue League intends to do. We will be very selective in reviewing applicants for this special girl. Maisey has mobility issues with her back legs and is also partially incontinent. Her prior vet believes that she either has spina bifida or cerebral palsy. She is awaiting additional evaluation by our vet for a second opinion. Despite these issues, Maisey is a happy, playful, sweet, and spunky puppy! She does not know that she is different, and she is able to get around just fine (including stairs). She will likely require regular physical therapy and/or chiropractic care to help her gain strength in her back legs. Since she is partially incontinent, she wears diapers at night, and will need to be changed/cleaned in the morning to keep her clean and dry, and to avoid irritation (just like a baby). Other than that, Maisey is just like any other puppy! She loves other dogs and is good with people and kids (not cat tested, but puppies typically do fine with cats if introduced at a young age). From Maisey's current foster: "Maisey May is a fun loving puppy that loves to play with other dogs and toys. Enjoys taking walks and snuggling on the couch. She is a spunky girl that has a big personality. She is a good listener and knows her name. She has the Frenchie snore that is just adorable. She is crate trained and sleeps great all night. We are waiting on more vetting to determine the diagnosis with her hind legs - she will also be spayed at that time. She has mobility and can run and go up and down stairs. She sometimes drags her back toes. There is nothing stopping her yet. Looking for that special home to provide the care and love that this cute little puppy deserves."
