**MARCH MUTT MADNESS ADOPTION SALE*** For the month of March, all mixed breed dogs have a reduced adoption fee! All adopt fees will be reduced by $100 from what is listed on our website. The time is now to bring home your new furry family member!! Momma Barista was saved by Paws Rescue League Inc, the day before Christmas along with a dog she came in with (Ringo). She was HEAVILY pregnant, about to pop! Unfortunately the animal control center was closed for Christmas, as are most places. We were notified that she had delivered 9 babies on the morning of 12/26/23! We had a wonderful volunteer who jumped into action to help get Barista and her 8 surviving babies picked up from the shelter and delivered to her amazing foster momma! We had decided to name the 8 babies after coffee theme, and welcomed Cappuccino, Mocha, Latte Love, Java, Macchiato, Espresso, Chai, and Bean! Barista unfortunately had picked up a bacterial infection, that 2 of the remaining babies caught and their bodies and immune system were too weak to fight off the infection. Latte Luv and Java sadly crossed the rainbow bridge. The remaining 6 babies were seen by the vet, prescribed antibiotics, and their foster mom made sure they got antibiotics 2 times a day to make sure they would survive. Along with constant care, and feedings and plenty of TLC over the course of 6 weeks. The remaining pups fought off the infection, and grew like weeds over the next few weeks in their foster moms careful care! They are now 8 weeks old and have clean bills of health! Chai is a female shepherd/husky mix pup, expected to grow to a medium sized dog. She is crate trained and working on housebreaking. Chai is a typical happy, playful puppy who loves everyone he meets and is eager to learn! Good with all animals and people, and kids. She and her siblings are fostered in New England in loving foster homes. show less

Lola is an 8 year old female chihuahua mix, weighing 6 lbs. She came from the hoarding case in TN, along with Sissi, Salah, Pepper, Solana, Freddie, and Elvis. Lola is a shy, sweet girl who is learning to trust people and accept love and affection for probably the first time in her life. She is crate trained, pad trained, and outdoor potty trained. She has not been fixed yet, but will be spayed soon by our rescue. Good with other dogs, people, and kids. She has not been cat tested, however we feel she would likely do fine with cats. Like most senior girls, she has cloudy eyes, which has made her vision impaired, but that doesn't stop her from seeing the good in people. Her and her sister Ninetails (names from Pokemon) were found as strays. They have been fully vetted, fixed, heartworm negative, and free of all diseases. They are sweet girls who love to play and love to snuggle! Vulpix is crate trained, potty trained and an absolute sweetheart! She weighs 22 lbs currently and is expected to medium sized full grown. Miyagi is a unique male adult (3 years old) corgi mix who will definitely turn heads! He's up to date on all shots, neutered, good with kids and other dogs, but has not yet been cat tested. Miyagi is full of love and will make a wonderful companion dog. He loves attention and will reward you with sweet soft kisses and cuddles. He loves ALL THE TOYS and will bring them to you for fetch or tug of war. He likes to eat and sleep in his crate and is quiet and well behaved when crated during the day. He has not had any accidents in the house and hasn’t chewed on anything that doesn’t belong to him, although he loves to chew toys and bones. Blitzen is a sweet 1 year old neutered male staffy mix with the prettiest blue eyes! This handsome boy weighs about 35 lbs and is full grown. He is good with other dogs, people, and kids (He LOVES kids and is great with them). He has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how he would do with cats. Mayor is one of 11 puppies born to Momma Sally. Sally was saved from the KILL SHELTER in the middle of October 2023. She was heavily pregnant about to burst. Sally gave birth to 11 healthy puppies the next day. Whom we named the Nightmare Before Christmas litter, as they arrived JUST before Halloween, and they would be ready for their FURever homes JUST before Christmas! Mayor is a sweet, playful, happy pup! She is housebroken, crate trained and good on a leash! Mayor loves all people, dogs, cats, and kids! Her momma Sally is about 40lbs, we expect these pups to grow to be about that size as well, a medium size. We have her DNA results as well that list her as 44% Austrailian Cattle Dog, 44% Mountain Cur and 10% Hound which equals, 100% amazing and sweet! Princess Chicken Nugget (affectionately known as Nuggie) is a super sweet young spaniel mix who is searching for her furever home! Nuggie weighs about 22 lbs and is great with other dogs, all people, and kids. She has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how she would do with cats. She has had a recent Xray done due to a limp she had when she came into our care (2/15/2024). Vet suspects an old injury (car accident or abuse) where a couple of the bones didn't heal properly and possibly due to that broke her tibia recently. *She is 100% fine and will live a normal life.* She just may have a limp. Currently on brace to rebuild leg muscle, but vet says she is doing well. From Nuggie's New England foster: "Nuggie is sweet, even tempered, food motivated. Great snuggly dog. Perfect for any family or single person. Extremely kind with people and other dogs. Has been kid tested and good with kids all ages. Knows SIT, DOWN, BEDTIME and COME." Sully is an incredibly handsome CKC full bred adult fixed, male pomerianian who came to us as an owner surrender. The owner did not have time for him or his sister, Emmie, anymore. Their parents are pure bred registered Poms. Sully has a soft coat, and loves to be held. He's friendly and sweet. He'd be great in any household that loves to hold and snuggle their dogs. He's pad trained, crate trained, and good with other dogs, but he's more of a people person. He knocks on the door when he needs to go out for potty time. Noel is a handsome 7 month old neutered male Golden Retriever/Great Pyr mx. He and his sister Joy were born on a farm (mom and dad were GR and GP) and the family dumped them both at a neighbor's residence. The neighbor wasnt able to keep them and she looked fo a rescue who would take them in. We took Joy and Noel in, and had them fully vetted, and fixed. The needed grooming very badly, they were both covered in burrs. Noel is good with kids, cats, dogs, pigs, goats, and horses (since they lived on a farm they had lots of exposure). Since he's been in rescue he has been around multiple dogs his size and smaller than him, and he has done wonderful with them all. He weighs about 60lbs, and will probably grown to be about 70-80lbs is our best educated guess. He is potty trained and crate trained. Noel arrives in New England on 12/30 and is hoping to find his furever home just in time for the New Year! show less

Hudson is an absolute sweetheart in a portable sized body! Weighing only 35 lbs, he's the perfect fit for any home. Being a year old, he's already housebroken, has good house manners (other than enjoying standing up high on the dining room table, lol, but we are working on that and he's learning quickly), is leash trained (he really likes walks), and LOVES love and affection. His foster mom says he's fun, shy, but very friendly. So inquisitive; he wants to know what's in the clothes dryer and dishwasher. He's not overly energetic, just the right level of energy for his age. No allergies, no medical issues and no aggression at all to any other dog or human. It honestly feels like you can see his sweet soul through his beautiful brown eyes. He does not howl like a coonhound if that's a worry; he will only bark lightly and that's only if he's left outside alone in the kennel. Good with dogs, cats, kids and every person he meets!
