Vicking is 100lbs of fluffy and love! He is an active gentle giant, and loves his people. His DNA testing came back as 50/50 Anatolian x Great Pyrenees mix, which surprised us due to his coloring. He is a GOREGOUS dog no matter what breed he is! Viking does well with kids, we suggest older kids due to his 100lb size. He has not been cat tested, he has seen some cats while on leash from a distance, and didnt show much interest. Viking has an average level prey drive, so we would reccomend a home with no small critters. Viking was adopted by a local rescue to a family who had 2 middle aged Newfies. After 3 months, there was tension between Viking and the older male dog in the home, which is why Viking was surredered back. Viking was surrendered in MA, and is being fostered in MA. He is available for adoption in MA. He is a very sweet boy, loves belly rubs, and loves to play ball. Viking is good on leash, he doesnt pull much. He knows some basic commands and sits on cue. He is fully house broken and fully crate trained. He loves his crate, and he settles right down at night. He really enjoys his people, and hes never met a stranger, he loves all people. Viking is currently in a 2 week board and train and doing wonderful! Viking is looking for an active home - He's good with other dogs but like other large breeds, need slow and controlled introductions. We also recommend children over 10 years of age who could respect his size. show less

Meet the Mythical litter: Apollo, Athena, Phoenix, Tengu, Griffon, and Sphynx. These sweet babies were sadly orphaned at 11 days old when their mom was hit by a car and killed. PRL rescued them and now that they are old enough, they are headed north to find their furever homes! Athena is an 8 week old female Aussie mix (the only female in the litter), currently weighing about 6 lbs. She is expected to grow to a medium sized dog. She is a typical happy, playful puppy who loves everyone! Good with other dogs, cats, people, and kids. She is crate trained, not yet housebroken. Meet Melody, a darling 4 month old female border collie/shepherd mix pup! She currently weighs about 20 lbs and is expected to grow to a medium sized dog. Melody was picked up as a stray by animal control in east TN. PRL rescued her and placed her into a loving foster home, and she tested positive for parvo shortly after 😢 Parvo is often fatal for young pups, but thankfully Melody started treatment right away, and she made a full recovery! She is now ready to make her freedom ride to New England to find her furever home. Melody is a very sweet girl, very friendly and playful! She is a well socialized pup. Meet the Quarterback litter: Tim Tebow, Geno Smith, Peyton Manning, Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, and Matt Barkely! Paws Rescue League saved these pups around the time of the Super Bowl, which is how they got their names. These adorable boys are Cathoula Leopard dog/ mix puppies (DNA test done on one of the brothers who was already adopted). Tim has a big dog super cool personality and is so much fun! You would never know he is a puppy! He is great going outside to potty and knows not to make messes inside the house. He's an independant sweetheart who will warm your heart when you meet him. He loves kids, dogs and every person he meets. Meet Sharpie, an adorable 8 week old female black lab mix! Sharpie and her siblings were found by animal control in east TN, there was no mama dog found, so we do not know their story. It is sadly very common for dogs to be dumped in this area, so we assume these sweet babies were an oops litter that were dumped for someone else to deal with. Sharpie is a typical happy, playful puppy who loves everyone! Good with dogs, cats, people, and kids. She is crate trained, not yet housebroken. Taryn is a female puppy, currently weighing about 12 lbs. She is a typical happy, playful pup who loves everyone! Good with other dogs, cats, people, and kids. She is very outgoing, LOVES to run and play, and she likes Kongs, snuffle mats, and other enrichment activities. She is not big on balls/plush toys. Meet Chevelle, a sweet 7-8 month old spayed female malinois/GSD mix! She weighs about 40 lbs and likely won't get too much bigger. This lovely lady has a wonderful temperament and is great with other dogs (curently being fostered with many dogs)! She is also good with cats, people, and kids (we suggest older kids 8+ due to energy level). She walks well on leash, is housebroken, and crate trained. Chevelle would do best in an active home and would love to have a doggo sibling to keep her company and help show her the ropes. Meet Kiwi, a beautiful 1-2 year old spayed female Dutch Shepherd mix! Kiwi is the loving mama of the Fruit Litter (Fig, Cherry, and Guava) and, like a kiwifruit, she is sweet as can be! She is a medium sized dog weighing about 40-45 lbs. She is good with other dogs and all people, including kids. She has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how she would do with cats. Kiwi is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. She loves to hang with her foster dad watching TV and also loves to look out the window and watch the birds and people walking by. Meet Fig, a darling 11 week old female Dutch Shepherd/Aussie Cattle Dog mix! Fig and her siblings were rescued in TN and are making their way up north along with mama Kiwi to find their furever homes! She currently weighs about 10 lbs and is expected to grow to a medium sized dog. She is a typical happy, playful puppy who is good with everyone - dogs, cats, people, and kids. She is working on housebreaking and crate training and learning how to be the best doggo! Fig is a little miracle pup who overcame a scary emergency situation when she was diagnosed with pulmonary edema (fluid in the lungs) shortly after arriving in her TN foster home. She spent a few nights in the University of Tennessee vet hospital on critical care, and was touch and go for a bit, truly fighting for her life. After multiple rounds of oxygen and mechancial ventilation, this little fighter finally started to improve, and was released back to her relieved foster dad, where she returned to her mom and siblings. Fig is now back to her normal self and has a clean bill of health and the rest of her life ahead of her! Fig is fostered in a loving CT foster home and can't wait for her furever family! show less

Meet Mickey, a handsome 8-9 month old neutered male chihuahua mix, weighing about 7 lbs! He is a sweet boy who was given up because he is not fully housebroken. He is still young and learning, and with a proper routine and some patience, he'll be 100% housebroken in no time! Mickey does great with other dogs close to his size! Solana is a petite 2 year old spayed female chihuahua mix, weighing 9 lbs. She came from the hoarding case in TN, along with Sissi, Salah, Freddie, Lola and Elvis. Solana is a sweet girl who loves to be with her person. She will follow you around like your little shadow! She likes to sleep on top of the couch like a cat. She is shy and nervous at first and needs a family with patience, who will give her time to feel safe and comfortable. She is worth the wait! Solana is crate trained, pad trained, and outdoor potty trained. Good with other dogs of all sizes, and good with cats. Buddy is a 1-2 year old neutered male Yorkie/chihuahua mix, weighing about 12 lbs! He is a shy, sweet boy who is nervous at first with new people/situations and will take some time to decompress. He needs someone who will be patient with him and understand that he just needs a little time to feel safe. Buddy is housebroken, pad trained, and crate trained. He is good with other dogs his size (unsure about larger dogs as he’s not been around them). He seemed ok with/uninterested in the cat at the vet, so we believe he would do ok with cats. We suggest older kids 10+ who know to respect a dog's space (due to his shyness). Buddy is a 100% good doggo who cannot wait to meet his furever family! Could it be you?!
