August is son to Mama Taylor Swift who came into our rescue as a pregnant stray. We do not know who dad is, but mom is a medium sized wire-coated Irish terrier mix and her babies (her Swifties) are a mix of wire hair, curly hair and flat coat and are ADORABLE! There are 8 puppies in the litter; two females and six males. August is a scruffy, wire coat adorable boy who reminds us from Doc from Back to the Future! lol. He will likely be the same size as mom with a similar wire coat. These puppies are microchipped, are up to date with vaccinations, have no intestinal worms, and are being fostered in a loving CT foster home, by a foster mom who keeps them very clean and well-fed and stimulated. show less

Sweet Taylor Swift was saved from the TN shelter heavily pregnant. We took her in and gave her a safe, warm place for her to birth her 8 babies (her Swifties: Lavender Haze, Robin, Karma, Trouble, (Cruel) Summer, August, Archer, and Ronan). She has a wirey coat and is a medium sized lady weighing 32 lbs (don't judge her on her new mom bod lol... she'll be back in tip top shape as soon as her babies have been fully weaned) and she is SO SWEET!! She loves to be pet and is so incredibly beautiful with her adorable characteristic terrier beard. She barely sheds and is fully housebroken. She is being fostered in a CT foster home currently with another dog and a cat and gets along with them both. She is weaning her babies, which will be 8 weeks by July 17th. After they have been weaned she's looking for the house with da couch to spend her days, relaxing and loving with her family. NOTE - all of our dogs are fully vetted with a health certificate from state of origin (TN) and a CT health check per the new 2024 CT Dept of Agriculture laws. Meet Toot Toots, a sweet 1 year old spayed female terrier mix with the best ears! She looks like she may be mixed with some Aussie Cattle Dog. She is a petite girl, weighing about 30 lbs and is full grown. Toot Toots is VERY dog friendly and is a playful girl who loves romping around with her doggo foster siblings. She is high energy and would love a fenced in yard of her own to run around and get out her zoomies! She has not been cat tested, however due to her high prey drive we would not recommend a home with cats. She loves kids, however we recommend older kids 8+ due to herding tendencies typical of her breed (she may try to herd small children, which may scare them although she means no harm). From Toot Toots' current foster: "Toot Toots loves to be active, but her favorite activity is cuddling with her people. She is the best snuggle partner and loves attention. We think she would do best in a family with another dog. Toots has so much love to give and we are soaking it all up, but she deserves to find her forever home. ❤️🐾 She is a very special girl and needs someone who understands herding dogs, as well as dogs with a high prey drive." Meet Jade, a super sweet 1.5 year old spayed female Italian Greyhound/terrier mix! She is a petite girl, weighing about 30 lbs. She has a beautiful light tan brindle coat, long legs, and the best bat ears! Jade was skin and bones when she was picked up by animal control as a stray in East TN. She is now a healthy weight and has a clean bill of health! From Jade's current foster: "Jade is very friendly and loving and is a total snuggle bug! She is great with other dogs (she LOVES to play with them and snuggles up next to her foster dog siblings at bedtime), and is ok with dog savvy cats. She loves all people and kids. She can be a bit mouthy when playing or if she is excited (like a puppy, not aggressive), but is easily redirected to a toy or bone. Due to her mouthiness, I would probably recommend older kids, as she may scare young kids. She means no harm, just needs a little training! She has a decent amount of energy and would love a fenced in yard of her own to run around! She loves going for walks and would make a great hiking or running buddy. She also LOVES playing fetch or tug and gets very excited when it's playtime! Jade is a sweet girl with lots of love to give!" Miss Delilah is a 10 months old beautiful spayed female beagle who came to us with scarring all over her coat, which we think makes her look even more gorgeous. We do not know what/how she got the scarring from, but we know that she's now safe and loved and will never experience malice again in her life. Despite her unknown past, she's very loving. She's good with kids, all other dogs, and all humans. We are unsure how she is with cats. She's a small 22 lbs and will not get much bigger at her age (maybe out vs up, as everyone experiences with time), but overall, she's a perfect size for any home. Bailey is a petite, 5 month old, 8 lbs, Maltipoo that was surrenedered to our rescue when he developed a medical condition that the owners did not want to deal with and they brought him to the vet to be euthanized. This guy is a very sweet, happy dog and is good with other dogs, people, and kids. He absolutely loves every person he meets and meets them with a bubbly energy!
