Meet Cubby, a handsome 6 month old neutered male terrier/lab/husky mix pup! He currently weighs about 40 lbs and is expected to grow to a medium/large sized dog. Cubby and his siblings were rescued at 4 weeks old after their mom was hit by a car and sadly killed. They have been fostered in TN for the past 4 months, until Paws Rescue League gave them their freedom ride to New England to find their furever homes! All of these pups just love to be loved and are loyal family members.  From Cubby's current foster: "Cubby is a super sweet, happy, friendly boy who loves everyone! He is very social and wants to stop to say hi to every person and dog we pass on walks. He LOVES other dogs and he adores kids! He is a smart boy who is very treat motivated and just wants to please, so he should be easy to train! He knows "sit" and "down" so far and he picked them both up very quickly. He is not a huge fan of the crate, but he is learning that crate time = special tasty treats! Cubby is a really good boy and would make a wonderful family dog!" Cubby is fully housebroken (may have accidents the first few days while adjusting to a new environment/routine). Apply to meet Cubby today! NOTE - all of our dogs come with a certificate of health from state of origin (TN) and from Connecticut per the 2024 CT Dept of Agriculture laws for rescue dogs. Our dogs are healthy, fully vetted, and in loving foster homes where they are socialized, housebroken and taught good house manners.  show less

Meet Barrracuda, a handsome ~1 year old neutered male shepherd/malinois mix! This sweet boy weighs about 40 lbs currently and likely won't get much bigger.  Barracuda is good with other dogs, cats, people, and older kids 8+. He is housebroken and crate trained.  From Barracuda's current foster:  “Barracuda is one of the sweetest dogs that I have fostered. He is more timid than his siblings and just wants to please everyone. Great with all dogs and no problem at all with my cat. If I didn’t already have two dogs I would adopt him.  It takes him a few days to trust new people, but with a little effort he warms up quickly. Big snuggler, very athletic, sleeps quietly through the night and will let you know when a bathroom break is needed. If anyone is looking for a hiking buddy, Barracuda would be your boy.  Whatever family adopts him just needs to give him a little time to let his true personality come through - Barracuda will not disappoint 😊." Apply to meet Barracuda today!  NOTE - All of our rescue dogs have health certificates from state of origin (TN) as well as Connecticut per the new 2024 laws of the CT Dept of Agriculture. They are healthy, fully vaccintated and in loving fosters homes where they have been taught house manners. socialization with people and other dogs, and are potty trained.  show less

Meet Finch, a super cute 5 month old spayed female shepherd/hound mix puppy, currently weighing about 15 lbs! She is expected to grow to a medium sized dog. Finch is a typical happy, playful puppy who loves everyone! Good with dogs, people, and kids. She has not been cat tested, but puppies are typically fine with cats when introduced at a young age. She is a very sweet girl who just loves to cuddle with her person. So easy going! From Finch's current foster:  "Finch is a big cuddle bug and will greet anyone with her big brown eyes and a snuggle of her muzzle into your neck. She’s 90% potty trained and 100% crate trained however would rather sleep cuddled up to her human. She sleeps through the night and is learning to walk on leash/harness. She LOVES playing with other dogs, she has not been around cats. She’s on a 6-12-6 feeding schedule and does best with a slow feeder alone in her crate (house) or she will try and sneak from her foster sisters 😋" Finch is medically up to date, crate trained, and almost fully housebroken. She can't wait to meet her furever family! Apply to meet Finch today!  NOTE - all of our dogs come with a certificate of health from state of origin (TN) and from Connecticut per the 2024 CT Dept of Agriculture laws for rescue dogs. Kong is a super sweet 6 month old neutered male husky/lab/terrier mix pup! He currently weighs about 40 lbs and is expected to grow to a medium/large sized dog (he's pretty much full grown now). His coat is a beautiful brown/gray (with white on his chest/paws), and has gotten lighter over time. Pictures do not do him justice!  Kong and his siblings were rescued at 4 weeks old after their mom was hit by a car and sadly killed. They have been fostered in TN for the past 4 months, until Paws Rescue League gave them their freedom ride to New England to find their furever homes! All of these pups just love to be loved and are loyal family members.  Kong is AMAZING!! One of the best dogs you will ever meet. He is polite, smart, a good listerner, LOVES to cuddle and is so incredibly handsome with his unique colored coat! His CT foster family absolutely adores him. Meet Toot Toots, a sweet 1 year old spayed female terrier mix with the best ears! She looks like she may be mixed with some Aussie Cattle Dog. She is a petite girl, weighing about 30 lbs and is full grown.  Toot Toots is VERY dog friendly and is a playful girl who loves romping around with her doggo foster siblings. She is high energy and would love a fenced in yard of her own to run around and get out her zoomies! She has not been cat tested, however due to her high prey drive we would not recommend a home with cats. She loves kids, however we recommend older kids 8+ due to herding tendencies typical of her breed (she may try to herd small children, which may scare them although she means no harm).  From Toot Toots' current foster: "Toot Toots loves to be active, but her favorite activity is cuddling with her people. She is the best snuggle partner and loves attention. We think she would do best in a family with another dog. Toots has so much love to give and we are soaking it all up, but she deserves to find her forever home. ❤️🐾 She is a very special girl and needs someone who understands herding dogs, as well as dogs with a high prey drive." Toot Toots is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. She is a 100% good doggo who is so excited to find her furever family! Apply to meet this sweet girl today!  show less
