Taryn and Torin are super cute 4 month old purebred Cardigan Welsh Corgi pups! They were surrendered to Paws Rescue League by a breeder who decided to stop breeding, and wanted to ensure their remaining dogs went to good, loving homes. Torin is a male puppy, currently weighing about 12 lbs. He is a typical happy, playful pup who loves everyone! Good with other dogs, cats, people, and kids. He is a very sweet, friendly boy who loves to cuddle with his people. He is a little on the shy side and is not as outgoing as his sister. He loves Kongs and snuffle mats, not big on balls/plush toys. He is working on housebreaking, and is crate trained and medically up to date. Taryn and Torin will be available for adoption at our adoption event at Tractor Supply in Stafford Springs, CT on April 27th. If you would like to adopt, please submit an application. Meet Chevelle, a sweet 7-8 month old spayed female malinois/GSD mix! She weighs about 40 lbs and likely won't get too much bigger. This lovely lady has a wonderful temperament and is great with other dogs (curently being fostered with many dogs)! She is also good with cats, people, and kids (we suggest older kids 8+ due to energy level). She walks well on leash, is housebroken, and crate trained. Chevelle would do best in an active home and would love to have a doggo sibling to keep her company and help show her the ropes. Meet Kiwi, a beautiful 1-2 year old spayed female Dutch Shepherd mix! Kiwi is the loving mama of the Fruit Litter (Fig, Cherry, and Guava) and, like a kiwifruit, she is sweet as can be! She is a medium sized dog weighing about 40-45 lbs. She is good with other dogs and all people, including kids. She has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how she would do with cats. Kiwi is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. She loves to hang with her foster dad watching TV and also loves to look out the window and watch the birds and people walking by. Meet Fig, a darling 11 week old female Dutch Shepherd/Aussie Cattle Dog mix! Fig and her siblings were rescued in TN and are making their way up north along with mama Kiwi to find their furever homes! She currently weighs about 10 lbs and is expected to grow to a medium sized dog. She is a typical happy, playful puppy who is good with everyone - dogs, cats, people, and kids. She is working on housebreaking and crate training and learning how to be the best doggo! Fig is a little miracle pup who overcame a scary emergency situation when she was diagnosed with pulmonary edema (fluid in the lungs) shortly after arriving in her TN foster home. She spent a few nights in the University of Tennessee vet hospital on critical care, and was touch and go for a bit, truly fighting for her life. After multiple rounds of oxygen and mechancial ventilation, this little fighter finally started to improve, and was released back to her relieved foster dad, where she returned to her mom and siblings. Fig is now back to her normal self and has a clean bill of health and the rest of her life ahead of her! Fig is fostered in a loving CT foster home and can't wait for her furever family! show less

Meet Mickey, a handsome 8-9 month old neutered male chihuahua mix, weighing about 7 lbs! He is a sweet boy who was given up because he is not fully housebroken. He is still young and learning, and with a proper routine and some patience, he'll be 100% housebroken in no time! Mickey does great with other dogs close to his size! He has not been around larger dogs, so we are unsure if he would be scared of them or not. He has not been cat tested, but we feel he would probably do ok with cats. He is good with people and kids. Meet Peep, a sweet 2 year old neutered male havanese mix, weighing about 17 lbs. He is a sensitive, gentle boy who is a bit timid and unsure at first when meeting new people. He just needs a little time to warm up but once he knows you are safe and he can trust you, he is an absolute love and very affectionate! Peep is good with other dogs and excellent with cats. Solana is a petite 2 year old spayed female chihuahua mix, weighing 9 lbs. She came from the hoarding case in TN, along with Sissi, Salah, Freddie, Lola and Elvis. Solana is a sweet girl who loves to be with her person. She will follow you around like your little shadow! She likes to sleep on top of the couch like a cat. She is shy and nervous at first and needs a family with patience, who will give her time to feel safe and comfortable. She is worth the wait! Solana is crate trained, pad trained, and outdoor potty trained. Good with other dogs of all sizes, and good with cats. He needs someone who will be patient with him and understand that he just needs a little time to feel safe. Buddy is housebroken, pad trained, and crate trained. He is good with other dogs his size (unsure about larger dogs as he’s not been around them). He seemed ok with/uninterested in the cat at the vet, so we believe he would do ok with cats. Yoda is a teeny tiny little sweetheart who loves everyone and all dogs! He's being fostered in CT in a home with both big and little dogs, and does great with them all. He's a full bread CKC teacup chihuahua who came to us as a breeder surrender. He's 6 lbs, and 8 months old. He's fully up to date with all vaccinations, dewormed and heartworm negative. He has been recently neutered, and does mark his territory sometimes, but a simple belly band keeps things under control. He's a little ball of energy and love who would do great in most any home you could imagine. He's got a lot of love to give and is ready for his furever family. Is it you? Meet Finley, a beautiful 1 year old spayed female purebred Cardigan Welsh corgi! Finley was rescued from a breeder in Montana (along with Baron and Vinny) who decided to stop breeding and surrendered their remaining dogs to Paws Rescue League. PRL has placed these sweet pups in loving foster homes, where they will be fully vetted and neutered before heading to New England to find their furever homes! We are now accepting applications on Finley, who will be attending our adoption event at Petco in Dayville, CT on April 14th. We work hard to match each dog to the best home for them.
