Cheyanne is a sweet pup who gets long with everyone. She was saved by a family, and she lived with them for over 6 months and they adored her, and she got along well with all of thier other dogs, unfortunately their 6 year old female rescue dog did not like Cheyanne and she would pick on Cheyanne. The family reluctantly surrendered her to rescue so she can find a home where everyone excepts her for the sweet wonderful happy girl she is.  She is goood with kids, who are dog savvy and know to give a dog their space and not crowd them. She is great with other dogs, she has not been cat tested yet. She does well at day care. But when her family surrendered her she knew something was happening, she got depressed, and she shook and was unsure what was happening, She has been coming to terms with the change, but Cheyanne would love to have a home and family of her own and not have to worry about being bounced around. Cheyanne was surrendered with her 2 favorite toys, "Ms Missy" the one eyed rabbit, and "Holly jalapeno". Her family were heartbroken to let her go, and are praying she finds a home that will adore her as they do. Cheyanne is a 1 year old bloodhound/choc lab mix. She is spayed, and UTD on all vetting, vaccines, and preventatives. Fully house broken, crate trained and knows her basic commands. She is a joy and just wants to share her life with a family, and be part of the family.  show less

UPDATE:  Jelly Bean was saved by Paws Rescue League Inc when he was 1 week olf, along with his 9 siblings and mom Lady Lacey. Jelly Bean was adopted at the age of 9 weeks old. He is currently 9.5 months old. He had been retuned to the rescue, due to lack of time for Jelly Bean. He was in a home with 4 children under the age of 5, and we feel that a home without children, or older children will be the best placement for Jelly Bean.  Jelly Bean is good with other dogs, enjoys playing fetch and getting belly rubs. He has not been cat tested so we are unsure how he would do with cats. He has lived with infants, toddlers, and preschool age children for the last 7 months, he does well with them, but we strongly feel he would do better in a less stimulating, more structured environment where he can learn to be a dog. He is a sweet pooch, and his family do love him dearly, but have decided its not the best placement, and they dont have the time to work on it.   01/20/2022 -  These puppies will grow to be medium to large based on the breeds they are assumed to be, they will need acess to a yard, or multiple daily walks, or hikes to keep them physcially active, and mentally stimulate them so they are happy well rounded dogs. Continued socialization is an important key for all dogs, at all ages. This will help keep them familiar with meeting new dogs, and learn to communicate with other dogs. Message from his first foster " Jelly Bean is an active, inquisitive and brave little puppy, he is the first to explore something new, then his siblings follow", ( foster had him from the age of 1 week - 9 weeks old.) show less

Candy is a female Border Collie/English setter mix, who is estimated to be between 10-12 months old. She is siblings/family of Mel (We are unsure if they are siblings, but we believe they are related), and they arrived at the shelter together. Both Candy and Mel were left in a home, alone after their owners moved out and did not take Candy and Mel with them. They were locked inside an empty home without food or water or anyway to escape. They were left to starve inside the abandoned home. Thankfully for them, someome heard their cries and let them out, and called the authorities. Candy has a very sweet personality, she craves affectiona and will melt at your feet for pats, and belly rubs She is friendly with other dogs and with all people. She does well with the teen and 6 year old in her foster home. She is believed to be about a year, slightly less. She is happy and loves people despite what her previous people did to her. She is crate trained and house broken. Candy walks well on leash, but gets a little scared of loud noises, and gets excited when she sees her people. Candy needs to keep working on basic manners, but she is a smary girl with the right adopter and a little training she will make an amazing addition to a family. She is looking for a foster home in New England or a foster to adopt home. She is UTD on all her vaccines, and vetting. Candie is not spayed yet, Paws Rescue League will have her spayed while in foster home, in the next week or two. show less
