Meet Ms. Susie! Susie is the best girl in the WHOLE WORLD! Don't believe us? Come see for yourself! Susie is believed to be a Chihuahua Dachshund mix. She is around 15-20 pounds and estimated to be 13-14 years old. She is trained to both use pee pads and go potty outside, so her future family can take their pick! She walks well on a leash and loves to explore. Susie can be a bit shy at first, but once she opens up to you, she is a huge snuggle bug. She can be wary of fast movements, especially when reaching to pick her up. For this reason, we do not recommend her to be with young children. Susie has always been the queen of her castle, living most of her life with an elderly couple. We think she deserves to carry on with what she knows, and that is being the only pet in the house! Susie does require a bit more experience when it comes to nail trims, as she is not the biggest fan of having her nails touched, and she will let you know! Her previous owners brought her to the vets and left it up to the professionals! show less

Meet Rossi! Rossi is a fun-loving, adventurous girl. She came in with her brother Rowdy, and they get along great! Rossi was said to do well with other dogs in her previous home as well. Having lived her first 10 months of life outside, she is working on potty training and making big strides! She just needs someone to put the extra time in, and she will be fully potty-trained in no time! Rossi has been around children and is reported to do fine. She is the sweetest girl. Something very important to note about Rossi is that she must be on a leash or longline at all times outside. She does have a history of climbing 8-foot fences! Pretty impressive! We think the extra few moments it takes to leash her is well worth it with how loving and fun she is! She has no special dietary needs other than to eat out of a slow-feeder bowl. Both Rossi and Rowdy were quite thin when they came to the SPCA, so they are a bit excited when meal times come! Most people expect all hounds to be very loud and opinionated, but Rossi and her brother Rowdy are some of the quietest and most polite hound dogs we have seen in a long time! She does great at the vet as well. All of the vet staff loved her so much when she stayed the day for her spay! If you have room in your home and heart for a sweet young hound dog, Rossi may be just what you're looking for! show less

Hello, my name is Lunar! Alright, let's get straight to the point here. I have been at the SPCA for TOO LONG, and I'm getting bored! I want SO badly to have a family of my own to give my love to! I love people and affection. I'm not sure yet how I feel about being with other animals, but as long as they are calm like I am, I'm willing to try! I do have a special diet that I need to stay on. I am prone to urinary inflammation, but on my urinary care diet, I have not had a single urinary issue. Some people might think this is a lot, but it's what keeps me healthy and happy. Plus, my friends at the SPCA say it's worth it because I am the best girl! If you decide you want to come in and meet me, please excuse my awful haircut. When I came to the SPCA, I was matted head to toe. I'm so thankful to have all of that matted hair off me....even if I look a little goofy. Once my coat comes back, you'll see how long and glorious it is! I'm just a diamond in the rough, that's all! show less
