If you're looking for the perfect kitten for photoshoots, well, hello there. My name is Reuben, and my foster mama calls me "the Face" because I have the purrfect kitten face. When I'm not posing for glamour shots, I'm zooming around the house and exploring new nooks and crannies. I was always the first of my siblings to try new things out. See, we were just a bunch of babies in a cold, damp room when we were rescued, but I always knew we would be fine. I love climbing, jumping, and darting around, much more than I love playing with boring old toys. I've spent a lot of time with dogs, kitties, and humans, so I'm totally ready for any kind of lifestyle! I should mention, I'm currently in foster care. I haven't been spayed yet so I'm not at the SPCA physically for meet-and-greets, but if you're interested in adopting me, you can still apply to adopt me! There is always a two-week refund grace period on adoptions, and that gives you time to make sure we're the purrfect fit for each other. Foster-to-adopt is another option for an itty-bitty kitty like me. show less

Hello there! My name is Gizmo, and I'm a lovable tortie. I have the perfect fur coat for this falltime weather - just look at the autumn colors in me! I think they make my big yellow eyes stand out. I came to the SPCA with my sister, Sofie, after our first family started going through some big life changes. I'm the more outgoing one, as I love to roll around on my back and greet friendly people. My favorite people are the ones who give me treats! Yum!! I am a pretty chill cat who enjoys head rubs and even the occasional belly rub. I would be happy in a variety of homes, to be honest, as I don't have a lot of preference, but I do want to stick with Sofie and she's very shy, so I think a quiet home would be best for us. We don't mind kids, especially respectful or older ones. It's hard to say how we get along with other cats or dogs at this point but I'll make sure the shelter people update this once they know. What I do love is head scratches and, my favorite thing ever, FOOD! I love to eat. Especially crunchy treats! So my hope is my future home not only keeps us forever, no matter what happens, but that they also have nummy treats. show less

Oh, hello! My name is Sofie. I'm a shorthair black cat with pretty yellow eyes that match my sister's. Gizmo and I came to the SPCA when our first family went through some major life changes. To be honest, Gizmo is handling it all better than me - I'm still pretty shaken up and scared. I appreciate it when people are nice and patient with me and give me time to get used to their smell and sound. So I would love a patient, quiet home. Hello! My name is Cookie, and I love making new friends! I'm two years old and a little underweight right now for a Pittie Terrier mix, but I'm as sweet as a cookie. And I'm one smart cookie too! I already know how to come and play fetch and - my favorite thing of all - GIVE KISSES! I am a very happy, wiggly girl who has been super good here at the shelter, but I think I would be EVEN HAPPIER in my very own home! See, before I came to the SPCA, I was at the Ark, and before I was the Ark, I was at another shelter - that's a lot of shelters for a little doggie like me! I am a little head shy and might be sensitive with a small child grabbing my ears or face, but if your kid is gentle with me, then I'm likely the perfect family dog. I love other dogs and cats - I got real excited when a crazy cat lady came to visit me because she just smelled like loads of my feline friends! I could use some TLC to put on some healthy weight, and my skin is yeasty and itchy so medicated baths might feel great every now and then. I can be a little distant at first, but if you take some time to get to know me, I actually am as sweet as my name suggests. I would be happiest in a quiet home that gives me time to adapt and come out of my shell, maybe with older and respectful kids that aren't as rambunctious or noisy as really young children. I haven't met a dog yet so I'm not sure what I think about those, but I am quite young and can likely adapt to a variety of homes, as long as my humans are patient and kind with me. Sometimes, people want kitties that snuggle up and sit there, kind of like stuffed animals. But then there are cats like me, who are full of personality. See, I'm Betty, also known as Bet Bet. I'm a young tabby calico, and I have all the traits of both tabbies and calicos. Lots of independence, lots of spirit, and lots of love to give ... when I want to! I'm the sort of kitty that will adore her humans and love to fill your days with my antics. I'm happy, healthy, chatty, and ready for a new family. The thing is, I would be much happier if I was the only fur child. Human children might be fine with me, as long as they can respect my boundaries (because if they don't, I WILL give them a bop!). My first mom tried to keep me totally indoors but she found I had other plans and that I wanted to be indoor/outdoor cat. I also did not like sharing my litterbox with other cats. So I could probably be happy in a home either as an indoor-only kitty or if you have the space for it, as an indoor-outdoor cat. A catio might also be great for me! You may even find it possible to harness train me for walks - you never know! show less

Hello! My name is Mumba. I'm one of the friendliest of the gray tabby cats from South Carolina, but I'm still on the shy side. Giving me treats is a quick way to make friends, though! Once I like you, I will wrap myself around your legs and weave around and around you, proving I'm actually quite a nice boy (and light on my feet!). I would probably be happiest in a quiet, patient home that gives me time to come out of my shell and allows me to get to know them. I would also be happy as a companion to another pet or if I was adopted with a playmate from the SPCA. Small kids might be disappointed that I'm not easy to pick up and snuggle. I'm really just a baby myself and would love a family that's willing to give me a chance! I have a lump on my left ribcage that is likely a fatty cyst, so my future family should let my future vet know to keep an eye on that in case it ever needs to be aspirated in the future. show less

Why, hello, dear humans. Are you in search of a lap warmer for this winter? My name is Panini, and although I am the runt of my litter and quite small (in fact, when we were first rescued, there was a scare of whether I would even survive that first night!), I adore snuggles and I give face kisses! I am a chill lap cat in the making, unlike my sister, Hoagie, who would much rather tear around the house in search of something to chase. My foster mama calls me the Empress Jin (pronounced "Chin") and I let her dress me up with doll-like compliance. I'm such an easy and perfect kitten, wonderful with people of all ages, dogs, and other cats. I would make a wonderful kitten for a first-time cat owner or for an experienced cat rescuer. I should mention, I'm currently in foster care. Hello there. My name is Silas. If I seem kind of skittish and sad, there's a good reason for that. I was a tiny kitten the first time I was here at the SPCA. I was adopted into a nice home, but then my owner passed away so now I'm back here again. I was bonded to my mom back in my old home but she had run away. The nice people here tried to introduce me to some other older female cats but I was intimidated by them. I would need slower introductions than are always possible here at the shelter. It could also just be that I've been through so much change lately that I just need a little extra patience and love, and then I'll blossom back into my old self. Once you get to know me a little, you'll find I am very loving and enjoy a good butt scratch. Sometimes, I enjoy it so much, I get overstimulated though! So if you have small kids, make sure they know when to stop and give me space before I get the crazies. I tend to view myself as a baby kitten still! I love toys and playtime as much as I love attention. I'm really a wonderful and sweet boy that didn't expect to go through so much in my life. Hello! I'm a purrfect little baby that you can just sandwich into snuggles! I'm one of the several litters of Sandwich kittens that came to the SPCA this fall. I am one of the darkest of the tabby kittens, with really black stripes. I came without a mama and needed to be bottle fed by a foster mama with my siblings, so I'm super used to humans. Now I'm a healthy and happy kitten who is ready for my forever home! I would probably be happiest with another kitty or a dog to play with so I can get my kitten energy out but I'm not really bonded or emotionally dependent on any one of my siblings. We got placed into a foster home with one of the Animal Care Staff here at the SPCA and she opened us up to a whole new world! We had sooooo much food to eat, and blankets and beds galore! She gave us beds and took care of my sister, Pooh, when she had a major health scare. We played with the other cats and dogs in our foster home and loved every second of it! It may take me a little to warm up to someone new, but I am a total lap cat. I enjoy snuggles when I want them, and I love pets from my favorite people! I absolutely love other animals, especially other cats! I am bonded to my sister Pooh. We love each other and we cannot be adopted apart from each other! I love both my sisters though, if there is anyone out there wanting the cutest trio of kittens ever, we are right here ready to go into our forever home. Hey, I'm Noodle! I am a fun-loving, sweetheart of a kitten! When I was rescued, my brother, sister, and I were living in an old, abandoned car! My name is Pooh, and I am up for adoption here at the SPCA! When I was rescued, my brother and sister were living in an old, abandoned car! We got placed into a foster home with one of the Animal Care Staff here at the SPCA and she opened us up to a whole new world. We had sooooo much food to eat and blankets and beds galore! While in foster, I had a health scare. Everyone thought I was at death's door, but thankfully, I was nursed back to health.
