And calling me Diggles Wiggles is accurate because I love to wiggle out of my cage, only to sit underneath it and continuously poke my head out to see if you're still looking for me, like a game of hide and seek. I am a super sweet kitty who loves it when people are gentle and kind with me and let me be myself, whether that means giving me time to hide or giving me lots of love when I'm ready for it or playing fun games with me. I am a nervous girl, though, and am frightened when I have to meet new cats or dogs. I might be okay with slow, positive introductions to other animals, but I likely would also be just as happy if not more so as an only cat. As long as the children are kind and respectful toward me, I am okay with kids, but children that haven't learned how to give boundaries to a cat might be too much for me. I am often overlooked when people come to visit because I prefer to watch the action happen rather than be the center of attention, but that doesn't mean I don't want love. I'm shy and unsure right now, but please don't overlook me! I'm in a lobby cage near the front desk. If you ask about me, the shelter workers will probably start gushing - just a fair warning. I have a hidey-hole bed where I think no one can spot me, but I'm an extra large boy so sometimes I stick out of it. The secret to luring me out is to sit on the floor in front of me and offer butt scratchies. I will instantly surrender and let my walls down. I'm still pretty unsure of my new environment, so please don't expect me to show my true lovebug potential straight away. I promise I'm super sweet, I just need some time. Did I mention I LOVE butt scratches? I'm a big boy with a lot of long fur so I really enjoy being brushed, petted, and rubbed. I'm a gentle giant with an even more giant heart! show less

I have been called many things in my time running around as a stray and when I got here I had some nasty dog bite wounds to show for my time defending myself. I have been healing for a while while I get taken care of by the nice folks at the shelter. I am still skittish around people but when I trust you I love to be loved!
